Chips and salsa

Cute little find with an extensive menu! Salsa was very tasty with a slight kick. The cuban sandwich is outstanding. Great flavor, real cuban bread with a great crunch. Also ordere tropical nachos (huge) and the salsa cheese fries.

Still loving this place two years later! We brought our first dog here during a hiking trip in 2022. Today, we brought our new dog. It's so hard to find dog friendly restaurants that are THIS delicious. I got the arroz con pollo, any the shredded chicken was fantastic. My husband loved the Cuban sandwich.

Closed. Need to update this in their hours. Totally disappointed as there is not much to choose from here.

Always enjoy the food. Clean quiet atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Especially enjoy the different sauces for dipping and your salad.

Milly’s Authentic Jamaican Restaurant - Oxtail

Milly’s Authentic Jamaican Restaurant

We moved to the area a few years ago now. We are from a "big city" where restaurants were in high…read morecompetition with each other and good food was not hard to find in any style. Here in this region we have struggled to find what we think is good quality food. There have been a few, some out of business now, like Angry Italian and Union 51. Sure you've got the chains... but good quality food in any style is hard to find here. And along comes my buddy, has lived here for years. His is from Jamaica "man" - sorry just had to. Anyway he takes me to Milly's Authentic Jamaican and wow what a great experience! I have been back there now I guess 10 times. And you know what is surprising? The consistency! One of the worst things that can happen is you like a dish and you return only to have it flop. Not here at Milly's. Cafe style. Kid friendly. Jamaican style Christian music - very cool. Great staff. Oh did I mention the food? Every time I go I intend to take pictures...but I started eating even before the plate hits the table - lol.

Having a place in Kingsport that has a taste of the islands is a real luxury! When you come into the restaurant they have a great "island vibe" with music and tasteful decorations. You truly feel like you stepped into a little cafe off the street in a Caribbean island. For the time we were there I felt like I was vacationing in the islands. The interior was clean and well maintained. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. The two ladies were kind, friendly, and accommodating. I was excited to get authentic Ox Tail and my wife got Curry Goat. The flavors of the Oxtail were wonderful; this isn't very spicy, it is bursting with levels of spice and flavor. The Curry Goat was the surprise; it was so good. One of their sides is cabbage and my wife and I ate all of our cabbage. I drug my rice and peas into the juices and couldn't stop eating. We also had a side of fried chicken, which was delicious. We got a butter rum cake, but was just too full to eat it then. That and a piece of chicken will be a snack!

Our family dined at Coyote Kitchen for a late lunch after visiting Hawksnest. I had researched Yelp…read moreprior, and based on the positive reviews and extensive menu I was excited for our family to give it a try. We were greeted promptly and were able to snag a table. I was surprised to see such a large crowd dining that time of day (2:30). But despite the busy flow of customers, service was wonderful, eager to answer questions, and very attentive. We started with the yuca fries. The absolute BEST I have ever had! Fresh, warm, well seasoned, and large portion. Our family of 5 ordered the Sedona bowl, Black & Blue burger, burrito, one of the boats, and the quesadilla, plus sweet fries and regular fries. We all thoroughly enjoyed our entrees! And loved all the fresh salsa options! Prices were also very reasonable! When we are in the area again, we will definitely return to Coyote Kitchen!

This place was a disappointment! We saw plenty of good reviews and were tempted by the extensive…read moremenu so we decided to give it a try. Our waitress was nice and friendly but definitely struggling and the food itself was very mediocre. We arrived around 5pm on a Saturday and sat outside as a group of 7. We started with waters and then a couple trays of chips and salsa. We opted for the house fire roasted and pico options. The chips were a good portion but each one came with maybe one ounce of each sauce...for the 7 of us. We asked for extras and so she brought out one of each... I ordered a chicken vegetable soup which the menu stated was served with a cornbread muffin. When the soup came there was no cornbread so I asked for that and upon her return she said it would be an extra $2.50 even though I literally pointed to the menu to show her that was not written anywhere lol The soup was okay, probably Would've been better with the muffin but I wasn't going to argue over it anymore. For my entree I got two southwest chicken tacos. And those were disappointing as well. Packed with a lot but just did not deliver on flavor, and the poblano cremosa salsa I got was pretty bland too. Overall sentiment from other friends was similar- they ordered bowls, burritos etc but found a lot was left to be desired with their dishes. Come payment time, I opted to use cash since the menu stated 3% surcharge for credit. When I gave her a $20, she returned my tab (after processing the others who put a card in) and I explained I had left cash, to which she asked "oh do you want me to give you a 10 and two 5s?" And I explained, No I just want to pay with cash, I only need the change. And then she gave me the wrong amount of change. So all around this spot was definitely a let down. @azfitfoodfun

Since moving to the Carolina's from up North I wasn't sure what to expect. I've have both dined in as well as carry out and the experience is always pleasant. I've had a few things from the menu but my favorite is the oxtail roti; It's a bit costly but well worth it as the meat is super tender, flavorful and the roti is pack full of meat. I also love the rice/ peas with the brown gravy and drinks are always phenomenal I've learned depending on the time of day you may be waiting for a bit but it's well worth it as everything is fresh, hot and made to order. The service/staff very friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering. The ambiance is upbeat, very clean and vibrant I wish I got a picture of my meal but somehow never makes it because it's that delicious

The cashier was sweet and personable. She was multitasking, but still managed to be fully engaged in the service she provided to us. She kindly let us know what items were sold out for the day and also gave us time to look over the menu and decide on our order without making us feel rushed. While we waited for our food to arrive, we noticed a steady flow of customers all the way until closing time! It's clear Island Grill & Pub is a local favorite. The food is packaged up to go, but there are plenty of tables to dine-in once you have your food...and a big screen with movies and Jamaican music playing in the background to keep you entertained. The wait for the food is a bit long...but EVERYTHING came out very fresh, very authentic, and worth the wait. The portions were plentiful, the food was flavorful and seasoned well, and the items were priced well for the value. What we ordered: - Small Jerk Chicken plate with rice & peas and cabbage - Jerk Chicken pasta - Side order of Macaroni and cheese We wish we lived closer, so we could visit Island Grill & Pub regularly, but it's definitely on our list any time we travel to the Rock Hill area!
