What a cool place! We had a delicious brunch on the patio. I loved the Guatemalan Breakfast - comes with eggs, black beans, plantains, and homemade tortillas. I also tried the horchata. It was too floral-y for me, but I saw others enjoying it so must be a personal preference. My partner really liked his enchiladas (these are not the same as Mexican enchiladas so ask for a description) and coffee. Service was great as well. Came here for lunch on a Friday afternoon. We were able to order quickly, but the food does take a little while to be served. They have a lot of nice comfy places to eat both inside and out back I have a chuchitos, a tamalito, and an oatmeal drink. The chuchitos were essentially mini tamales. They have chicken and a red tomatoey salsa. I enjoyed them and if you're a tamale person think they're a good option. I wish they had some other varieties. The tamalito was a mini sweet corn tamale, with no filling. I'd personally skip on this one if I were to do my meal over, fairly one note flavor wise. The oatmeal drink was super thick, to the point you could justify using a spoon, and very cinnamony. I could see this hitting the spot on a chilly winter day. It reminded me a bit of an atole, but the texture wasn't super my jam. Overall, I think this is a solid option if you find yourself in the area. The prices are reasonable, and there are plenty of options. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars, if I were in/closer to a major city I'd have dropped them down to 3, but considering the area and how cozy the place was I think it's a more worthwhile stop read more

Good place. I didn't stay long, but could see it is authentically ran, and the food looked good. As a native Southern Californian, I am always on the lookout for any kind of GOOD Latin food!! I got a dirty chai (I think). It was super bitter for a chai, but the coffee in it was strong, which I appreciated! I look forward to going back and trying some food!! read more

Love this place! They have great Chai Tea Lattes. I had hot and my daughter had iced. I tried Pupusas for the first time. Super yummy!!! My daughter had pancakes. They were so much better than a regular diner. I love the atmosphere. The owner and his wife were so friendly and warm. I will go there more often. read more

Food was tasty and priced well but our dinner had to be ordered at the counter.... With only one worn out menu to make our selections from. Our meals arrived at different times so the first meal that arrived got cold waiting for the second one. Service was a bit spotty with most of the staff only speaking Spanish. read more

Such a beautiful, welcoming space. Amazing locally roasted coffee and handmade chocolates, delicious Guatemalan pastries and some yummy breakfast options as well (the tostadas are gluten free and can be made dairy free!) Dairy free milk options available including oat milk. I've visited a few times since they opened and staff are all very warm, helpful, and professional. They have a nice space for sitting and chatting, or tables and Wi-Fi should you need to get some work done. Lots of Guatemalan made gifts and lovely chocolates and specialty treats perfect for holiday gifting. There's even an indoor soccer field in the back with leagues! My husband and I went there for breakfast. They do not have a large selection. The service was very slow. I got pancakes. They were good but cold. My husband got a egg and bean on a tortilla. Over-priced, inconsistent and lengthy wait times. They wanted to charge me $5 for a small side of avocado and .25 for a glass of tap water to have there with my breakfast. Just to get my drip coffee took almost 10 minutes. The coffee is okay - it seems like they recently changed roasts and the medium roast is now very dark and flavorless compared to the prior one that was much better. The wait time for specialty drinks is way too long and the taste will vary depending on who makes the drink. I really wanted to like this place and support a local coffee shop and roaster but I will not be returning due to multiple disappointing visits. read more

We went there this morning and ordered two chai tea lattes one iced and one hit. They were excellent. Very flavorful! My daughter had a GIANT chocolate donut and I had the most delicious cinnamon scone. I could have eaten a dozen of them! Christian the owner came out and was very friendly. They are currently adding a kitchen to serve food soon. I can't wait! read more
