Dark Roast coffee

Super friendly coffee shop. Cool how engaged they are in the community. Best coffee in Morganton. Fresh roasted on site can't be beat. Go get a bag!

I was just in town for a couple of days and was excited to check this place out ~ instead of the "green mermaid." The coffee was exceptional and the cold brew was ... let's just say "my cup wasn't big enough!" I will be back in town and I will be back to this coffee shop. I love local roasters!!

Delicious locally roasted coffee

Such a beautiful, welcoming space. Amazing locally roasted coffee and handmade chocolates, delicious Guatemalan pastries and some yummy breakfast options as well (the tostadas are gluten free and can be made dairy free!) Dairy free milk options available including oat milk. I've visited a few times since they opened and staff are all very warm, helpful, and professional. They have a nice space for sitting and chatting, or tables and Wi-Fi should you need to get some work done. Lots of Guatemalan made gifts and lovely chocolates and specialty treats perfect for holiday gifting. There's even an indoor soccer field in the back with leagues! One of my favorite shops in the Morganton area! Don't miss it!

The restaurant coffee spot is beyond beautiful and full of culture. The iced coffee I had was delicious. I had an incredibly hard time hearing the cashier. I could not understand what was being asked but the coffee turned out delicious

We visited here back in September, 6 months ago. I still consider it one of my favorite finds. Love their coffee. Love their story.

Wonderful relaxing spot!! I intended to pop in for a cold brew (best in town) but ended up lounging on the outdoor patio, listening to the rain while sampling the chuchito and tomalito.

Our new favorite coffee shop in Morganton! We had a large cold latte with white chocolate flavor and a scone. Enjoyed the coffee and the ambiance! Great service, clean restrooms. Lots of space to lounge and enjoy yourself

Kids indoor soccer

Great place for delicious coffee and warm community feel. Grandkids love the indoor soccer games as well as the summer camp here at the shop!

Guatemalan Breakfast!

Such a gem! I will be supporting this spot as much as I can! The coffee was literally amazing, the food was soooo good, the vibe was so calm and welcoming and it was so fun to shop around all the Guatemalan goods! Very nice outdoor seating area, and mini indoor soccer field! So cool!

Food was served in paper plates and churrasco carne was cold. Pupusas were horrible my 5yr olds favorite food so she knows and I agree.

The chai is life changing in my opinion, and the prices are wonderful. We will definitely be back! Such a cool little gem we stumbled upon.

I usually stop here either on my way to Asheville, it breaks up the ride nicely, or before climbing at Bigfoot Climbing gym. I have gotten both the Poe and the Hemingway lattes and they are delicious! I've also had some of the dessert pastries from Ugly Duckling - the mocha espresso cookie and the cheddar bacon scone. These treats are tasty and perfect snacking size. The interior of this store is very cozy and there are endless reading nooks throughout the space. The first time I enjoyed my coffee and snack outside but this past weekend, I sat upstairs. Both times have been very enjoyable - one minor note, they closed early on Sunday, at noon instead of 3pm, to prepare holiday decorations. Unfortunately, I arrived at 11:30am so I didn't get to stay and read as long as I originally planned. Wish they would have posted on their social media (I looked them up on Instagram before visiting again)! Other than that little hiccup, this is a must-visit in Morganton!
