Stopped here for brunch yesterday and really enjoyed it! We sat outside and split an omelette and an egg round. The latte was good too.

Checked this place out on New Year's Day. Grabbed a coffee and an Omelette after looking over the menu. Packed with ham and was a very tasty omelette. Not too greasy, and was great bang for your buck. Definitely good to have Grind here since there's only so many breakfast places in Morganton.

The ambience is undeniably amazing and the food is delicious. Came here from a sister's birthday and it is just spectacular. Can't go wrong with anything you order.

The Grind, the Grind, the Grind. I see that customer service is not your strong suit; perhaps management, as well. I did sign up to wait awhile for my food, being told there was only one person preparing the food. But how did you take money from your last 4 customers and then forget that they ordered food??? I did hear a lot of chatter & socializing behind the counter while we sat there, completely ignored, our little order numbers standing tall on our tables. After waiting an hour & a half, I received my simple salad, which was missing the walnuts & Gorgonzola. No apology or compensation, like it was our fault for trusting the staff. Rating: one star for the mimosa and one for the nap.

The food was cooked perfectly this morning and didn't take long to come out. I'm still not crazy about their coffee but a win on a filling meal. The setting is very relaxed in a great location.

I've enjoyed good coffee and some decent food here over the years when I've been in town. They have seating downstairs and more upstairs. It's situated on a historic street on the edge of downtown Morganton. You can enter from the front or back, where the parking lot is. (Watch your step if you enter from the back!) Try a hot mocha here. It's one of my favorite ones in town. :-) On this visit, I tried a hot amaretto latte, which was very good.

Seemed like a very busy place so we opted to try. Took forever to get to the counter to order due to a long line and the order taker was also the barista. The food was prepared in an acceptable time and looked quite appealing. The turkey sandwich was done nicely and had great flavor the Rueben however was terrible as the corned beef was inedible. It could not be chewed as it was very tough. Most of the first Hal wound up in my napkin, but the second half was so full of gristle it was impossible to bite. I took it to the cook to let him know. Left very hungry. #stevensleavin

Stopping for coffee between large cities on a road trip is a hit-or-miss proposition, and often I manage risk by simply going the Starbucks route. I'm happy I didn't do that in Morganton, as Grind was a great place to post up for an hour. My Americano was very good, the baristas were competent, and the place itself was comfortable, with a few different seating options. I look forward to a return visit...

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. The chai tea here is amazing, I haven't had better. I came up here with my father and we were just wondering around and found this place and decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Along with the chai tea that we both got my father ordered the quiche and I ordered the breakfast burrito. My fathers first response when he tried the quiche was this is the best quiche I've ever had and it just disappeared. The breakfast burrito I ordered had eggs, sausage, red and green peppers, onions, spinach, and cheese. One of the best burritos I've had in a long. Great atmosphere and very friendly staff. I will be coming back here again.

Pretty trash coffee. Tasted worse than my Keurig. Bagel special was pretty good. Overpriced and underwhelming.

Regular fries and sweet potato fries both crispy and fresh. Good service and got seated promptly. Definitely worth it and recommend it if you're visiting or live locally!

I didn't realize that this meant that the bartender would also be my server. She was really busy and I felt like some of the other servers could have helped out. I ended up waiting a bit before she was able to get away from the bar to take my drink order. I was there for a hot dog and they had some good options. I ended up choose the Rueben dog which had sauerkraut, swiss cheese, thousand island dressing. I also went with the Dipper fries (after asking what they were). It didn't take long for the food to arrive and I, admittedly, enjoyed eavesdropping on some of the conversations around me. :) It looked like the dog had been sitting under a warmer cause the thousand island was....dry?...looking. I went to pick up the bun and it was already coming apart. Not a great sign. On the bottom of the bun there was a small black spot. My suspicion was mold but I don't know that for sure. I cut it off. The whole hot dog fell apart after the first bite. Lots of wet toppings will do that to an untoasted bun. The hot dog itself was ok but I wanted more thousand island dressing. The Dipper fries were great. They are essentially Fritos scoops but as fries, fries that are cut in a scoop shape, and they are served with cheese sauce. What's not to like? I'd be interested in trying other items on the menu but probably wouldn't go out of my way to return.

Never been to a Buffalo Wild Wings before, but decided to give it a shot even though reviews aren't…read moregreat. The place itself is nice, basically like a sports bar, service was also good. We started with some wings because... well... it's in the name. The wings were nice and crispy but were pretty small with little meat. Also for some reason we only got wings and no drumsticks... not sure if that's how they do it or just coincidence but since I prefer the drumsticks... not cool if that's how they do it. Also I have never seen wings sauced like they do here. Normally they are just tossed in sauce to get them coated, these were coated but then like more sauce all over the top. They also had some decent beer prices with their "in-house" beer being $4 for a pretty big glass. For our main we both had burgers. This is where they redeemed themselves because the burger was really good. It's a smash burger which I love but not that many places around do them. Fries were also good, nice and crispy. I will say I ordered mine with no sauce, my girlfriend ordered it as it comes with mayo and mustard.... It was DRENCHED in sauce. She regretted it so if you don't like a ton of sauce ask for it on the side... too much sauce seems to be a theme here. Last issue was checkout. Instead of just paying like any other place, they send you a link to pay online. You have to Emeterio all your info type your card number etc, it's kind of a pain. However after entering everything and submitting it I get an error but at the same time I get an alert from my credit card that it has been charged. Had to go see manager who said it wasn't the first time. Just take payment at the table like everyone else. If they want to implement some online thing then better make sure it's EASIER than the normal way and that it actually works. Anyways great burger, everything else was meh, has potential.

Everything else including service was meh or unacceptable. The first time I visited Buffalo in Asheville, waitress tipped herself an extra 100$. Had to get the store to pull the receipt and check what was actually written. She had already been "dealt with." It's always something with this chain that convinces me to not eat there for another 3 years or so.. I think I'm permanently done.
