Mac n cheese was great also. The brisket sandwich was large and a generous amount of meat with a good Smokey flavor. No fountain drinks, have can drinks, bottled water and can sparkling water, ( do not see that very often and is a good surprise if you prefer something other a soda or water). Looking forward to trying other items on their menu.

Inside the restaurant, it had standard deli vibes. I would definitely not come back here if I was stopping in Statesville for lunch.

We have only tried the peach mango so far - it has more mango than peach, but still really good flavor. We were both left wanting it to be carbonated like other traditional ciders we enjoy. It just seemed off, otherwise, it would have been up there with some of our favorite ciders. *They have a small bistro onsite. I was not expecting anything of it, but we split the chicken and spinach crepe, and it was wonderful! *They are dog friendly in certain areas, which we appreciated since we hike with our family canine! We definitely enjoyed our visit here, and it won't be our last. I definitely recommend if you are in the area.

I had a wonderful experience at Swedes Cafe! The food was absolutely delicious - everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. What really stood out, though, was the amazing service. Our waitress, Eva, was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. She truly went above and beyond to make our visit special. My husband and I just returned from a casual Saturday brunch at Swede's Cafe, and we were very impressed. The restaurant is upstairs from a well-curated general store. It is clean and the staff was incredibly welcoming. We both loved our food (Chelsey's scrambled egg bowl and Harvey's melt), and our menu personalizations were not a problem. The dish showed creativity not only in the mix of ingredients, but the presentation as well. I'm sure it would've been a great sandwich, but it was killer as a salad. My special of the day, The Shawarma Greek pita was wonderful. Everything I love about Greek food and spices all neatly put together in a tasty pita sandwich. I opted for it to be "herby"rather than spicy and it was a beautiful blend of flavors. Blackbox was surprising for its food quality and tremendous customer service in a non-descript setting with paper plates and cans of soda. We would absolutely recommend it.
