Came back and got the same thing! Their Beef Schwarma is fantastic! The meat is perfect, the fresh veggies are crisp and flavorful, and their fries are the crispiest I've had in this area. I was told this was a "must see" place to try. I ordered the beef shawarma, baklava, Turkish coffee, and hummus. I didn't end up drinking the Turkish coffee because I really didn't like the smell of it I just dumped it. The hummus was extremely potent but it was very very good. Definitely clears out the sinuses. The baklava was not super sweet like a typical baklava that's drowning in honey. This was very light. The beef Shawarma was tasty. But I would definitely order a side of tzatziki sauce. read more

We started with the falafel and hummus, which was amazing - my husband said he could eat 100 of the falafel they were so good. I ordered the byrani rice with eggplant stew and it was amazing. The interiors is drab with cheap plastic covering the tables, walls almost bare with a few smaller pictures. Ordered the falafel appetizer. It was not to bad, although the white sauce that came in a cup had the consistency of milk and didn't taste anything. Ordered the Mixed Kebab. Veggies were fresh, the fries ok, and although the meat was reasonable tender, it had no flavor to it, with the exception of the lightly burned edges. Half of a store bought Mexican tortilla was under the meat. Had lunch here. Ordered a kebab wrap, which is supposed to be wrapped in flatbread. The "flatbread" was a tortilla, which I am quite sure was store bought. Tortilla aside, the food was awful. First time I have been to a middle eastern restaurant I didn't like. I am surprised at some of the positive reviews, particularly those that say the food is authentic. Having lived in the Middle East for a number of years, the food did not come across as authentic. Ambiance non-existent and service level matches the ambiance. We were in the mood for some Mediterranean and found this place to try. Since it was dinner time, we opted to enjoy sitting outside on their small patio. We were the only customers there and remained so during our dining experience, potentially worrying. Started out with the babaganouj, which was good. Needed to ask for more pita bread, which took a while to get... not sure why as we were the only customers there. I went for the beef shawarma plate. It was a good portion. I found the beef to be a bit bland and the rice was dried out. I had to flag our server a few times to get our water glasses refilled. Not much service other than taking our order and delivering the food. Food was mediocre, and the service wasn't really there. Might be an option in a pinch, but I'll be trying another place next time. read more

Started with the delicious cardamom tea and the flavor was excellent-a bit sweet if you are a low-sugar person but I would not change a thing. Came here for the first time today with my husband and my daughter. We were really looking forward to trying it out but we all said that we doubt we would come back. We both ordered the exact same thing which was steak and rice and the steak was hard and chewy not a whole Lotta flavor other than the char flavor on it, which we both enjoyed. It was just hard to eat. I was shocked the rice seem like it came out of a Rice-A-Roni box with a few added vegetables, and although it wasn't all that bad, I was expecting something more homemade. We both ordered waters which did not come with ice so that was weird and the whole time we ate we were never checked on asked if everything was OK or if we need anything else. Honestly for the price it was not worth it. I am giving it to stars for us personally, but like always, you should take every review with a grain of salt because your experience might be better than mine. I was a little shocked that we were the only people in the restaurant and still there was no customer service. This review is for takeout. Tried the eggplant stew with rice, falafel with veggies, and hummus for a vegan/vegetarian meal. Stew was delicious, but the rice seemed to be rice a roni, and I'm guessing had chicken stock. Falafel were decent and gigantic. You only get 4, but 1.5 was enough for my meal. The 'with veggies' part is misleading though. It comes with about 1/8 a cup of par cooked veggies as a garnish. The hummus tasted bad. Sour and bitter in an overpowering way. I think it was spoiled, and ruined the meal. I woke up with GI distress after eating it with dinner, and will be buying store bought hummus to go with the rest of the falafel. read more

Decided to give this place another chance after not coming for a while. Everything was ok until i got the bill. I should not have paid for it without looking at the total. Didn't think I would have to ! I got 2 Turkish coffees at 2.50 each, a tabouleh 7.50, baba ganoush 7.50, and a mixed kebab 15.99. All of this would be a subtotal of 35.99. After paying, went to write the tip and realized I was charged $56. I walked out without saying anything because I had already been charged & I should have identified why I was charged sooner. Why would you take advantage of customers like this? Is it really worth it to permanently lose customers in this way? Times are tough and I am a broke college student. Heard so much good bout this place, and being that I pass by here every day I'm surprised today was my first visit. Service was very friendly. The place had a home feel to it. Not the typical restaurant layout/feel... and that's not a bad thing. Matter of fact, I liked it. Had family owned and run written all over it, so that's definitely a plus! Food was very good.
