This place and these people are incredible! I purchased three new suits for work, and needed two of them altered as soon as possible! I called several places, and they were the only ones to professionally and kindly address my concerns and needs. Both suits came out perfectly, and they were ready one day early! The prices are beyond fair as well! From start to finish, the experience was amazing in its entirety. I'm not going anywhere else for alterations for as long as they're in business! I'd recommend Be's to anyone in need of alterations! read more

I brought in my evening gown that was beaded and Be and Thuy were friendly and shortened my dress. Sounds easy but there were two layers and the top layer was embellished. They did an amazing job and had the dress ready for the big event. Thank you ladies. read more

She does amazing work in a timely manner. Most recently I had her take a floral dress and turn it into a top and skirt. I'll wear both more frequently next summer. Be made it fit perfectly. read more

Sweetest, most efficient owner! She is quick and the quality of her work is excellent. I shopped around for a good alteration place, but Be's pricing was the best I found in all the surrounding cities. I will never go anywhere else! read more

Be is such a sweet, talented tailor. I went in to have my wedding dress tailored based on a friend's recommendation. My dress didn't need too many alterations, just the hem and taking in the bodice. Be did a wonderful job for a very reasonable price. Plus, she is such a gem to talk to. I brought my mom and future MIL to both fittings and Be's friendly personality and warm demeanor made the whole experience even more special. She is often working in the back, so it's best to call before you visit/walk in. Thanks, Be! read more

Be is magical and knows exactly how to fix split pants. I brought several pairs of pants that had seen better days. She fixed them up like new and gave me many more days of use. Best of all, she was super quick and friendly. My wife has used Be several times and each visit she is impressed. It's nice to have a reliable tailor right nearby! read more

Be is one of the most amazing and kindhearted people I have ever met. A friend referred me to her when I was looking for Bridal alterations. Off the bat, Be was helpful and took the time to understand my vision for the dress overall. Before the alterations, my dress was baggy and unappealing on me but after Be did her magic, it looked gorgeous. She made me feel gorgeous and all my worries about my dress went away. Please visit Be if you are looking for a seamstress who is in it to help others! She is worth every penny that you will spend. I cannot wait to wear my wedding dress!!! read more

Seven years of Be's Alterations--she's my go-to for most of my fashion seamstress needs. I can always rely on her. Love her kind soul and her hard work to pieces! I highly recommend Be for any or all of your alteration needs. read more

Be is the absolute best!!! I bought my wedding dress at a sample sale, so it was a size 12 (I'm prob a 4-6 in wedding dress sizes). I knew it would need a lot of work and it wouldn't be easy since it had a long train so it wouldn't be a simple thing as hemming the bottom. Not only did Be pretty much cut off half the dress and make it look sooo good, she is also the sweetest person!! Pricing was very reasonable, service was exceptional and my dress was my dream dress. Thank you so much Be!!! read more

It's always a pleasure to bring my clothes to Be's. No job is too big ( altering sizes) or too small ( replacing buttons). And, she is very sweet and personable. Her prices are so reasonable I almost feel guilty! read more

I sometimes think that tailors are like car mechanics. They seem to almost always charge more than it seems they should, for less work than it seems they should be doing. After taking a dress with multiple layers and lots of gathered bunching to several tailors all wanting to charge me between 80 and 120 for the dress, I went to Be. She charged me only 40 to hem a dress with 4 layers, including taking in the dress at the top. Be is the "honest mechanic" in a sea of tailors who like to overcharge! As soon as I brought the dress in, Be was on the floor, marking it up. She was not afraid to get started! She had the dress ready in about a week (she was already swamped when I brought the dress in, it seems in this recession, her business has only gone up!), which I thought was quick given the fact that she was already working overtime. I brought my husband with me when I picked up the dress, and he just fell in love with this woman, she is adorable. She has been at this location for many years, and she is just a sweetheart! WHEN you decide to use Be, be sure to bring a checkbook or cash, she doesn't take credit cards. read more

Highly recommend Be! She is so sweet and kind. I went in with an XL Christmas sweater and I asked for her to add a ribbon to the back so I can make the sweater more fitted. I showed her one picture of the idea and she had me buy the ribbon. I needed the sweater done day of and she really delivered. $10 for this little addition. She is so reasonable. I can't wait to bring my next item to her. read more

Be is AWESOME!!! My sister is getting married this Saturday and being the bridezilla she is - she told me I needed to drop some poundage and bought me a size smaller than I am :((( I did lose the weight and the dress fit 2 weeks ago and of course being the foodie that I am, gained the weight back!! Desperate, I came to Be and she had told me that there wasn't much fabric to have the dress let out and the most she could do was maybe an inch more, anymore then she would have to add fabric from the hem. Take note this was a Jenny Yoo dress with a pleated bustier made with taffeta that had silk lining so ANY and I mean any additions would be very very obvious. I told her I needed it before Thursday (today) and she told me to come in on Tuesday to try it on and make sure that I'd be able to fit the dress since she could only let it out a tiny bit and she wasn't sure if I'd be able to breathe.... Anyways, I dropped the dress off on Friday, did a 3 day cleanse and came back Tuesday to try on the dress. Needless to say the dress was perfect! It fit amazingly and you couldn't even tell that she did anything to it. The taffeta pleats on the bustier were lined perfectly and everything was done for a really decent price. I am definitely coming back to Be, she is so sweet and really helped me out for my sister's wedding this Saturday. Tips: Her hours are 8-5 but if you call she's usually there later until 6 or 7 and will wait if you are like me and work until 5/6 and are desperate. Just make the call! However, I do have to say when she answers the phone she doesn't say "Be's tailoring" she just says hello, so just go with it and know you didn't call the wrong number haha. The plaza she's in is BLUE and across from Starbucks. She is on the 2nd floor above the hair salon and next to the yoga center and the parking lot is one way and very tricky to get out of to turn left onto 17th so BE CAREFUL. She is CASH ONLY - I didn't know this but luckily I had my checkbook and she had accepted my check :) All in all I'd definitely recommend Be :) Great work, great prices, and she's so sweet! read more

I've been going to Be since 2006. I needed a dress repaired after it had ripped... for a wedding I was in the very next day. I tried to sew it up and it looked like a butcher attempted to fix it! I must have called 10 other places who said it couldn't be done in time, before I talked to Be. She had me bring it in, was kind about my sad attempt to sew, and even said I could wait for it (I enjoyed a frosty from across the street). The dress came out as good as new, and she only charged me 10 bucks. Instantly, I was a customer for life! Since then, I've brought her numerous business suits, dresses, and pants that she has expertly fit to me. I am short and petite, with broad shoulders, and I can't tell you what a challenge it is to wear things off the rack. Be makes me feel like I can buy anything on sale or that is just my style without ever worrying that it will fit perfectly. Oh, and her prices are amazing! Earlier this year, I brought her two pants to hem, a skirt that needed a new zipper, two jackets that were one size too large, and a dress to take in and the total was $35... I couldn't believe it. She's the BEST! I recommend her to all my friends... and yes, she only takes cash. read more

Be is a life saver. I had to get a bridesmaid's dress altered because it was purchased without my being there in person (I'm traveling back home for my best friend's wedding so I couldn't be there for the dress fittings). She basically had to redo the dress, but it looks amazing and she was wonderful to work with. I will definitely bring all things I need tailored in the future to her because I want to keep giving her business. She is cash only and totally worth it! read more
