We found material on Amazon and she removed the zipper and added silk corset loops and a string to bring my wedding dress together and she had it done in 2 days. I took my wedding dress here to be tightened to my body and to adjust the over skirt that went with the dress. Although she was very kind and inexpensive, I got my dress back the exact same. When I asked if she would tighten it, she refused and said the material was too heavy and it was impossible to do. I've taken a few dresses and tops in, and they've all turned out great. My latest project for Lisha was my wedding reception dress, which was initially too long, and on top, too low and too loose. She hemmed it, shortened the straps, and fixed the fabric of the cowl neck to lay properly. All of it was hand stitched because of the sequins, and the cowl neck alterations just look like part of the dress design. It turned out beautifully and I was so comfortable in my dress!! I bought some very expensive pants that I purchased overseas and after all of my negative experiences with alterations in this area, I was very hesitant to try this location. I brought my pants and immediately the lady working had a room ready for me. The entire shop was very clean and organized, and she measured my pants and taught me how to wear them the best without looking crazy. She suggested the best way to ultra them and in my experience, most alteration people will do the lazy way or the shortcut way, and not the best way, even though that would mean it's more difficult and time-consuming to alter the garment, but this particular woman really took her time and explained to me that these pants could or could not be altered a certain way because it would Ruin the pant and taught me how to wear these pants to make my body look the best. She charged me only $15 to alter the pants and they were done within three hours. I love Lisha and cant wait to go back. read more

I'm a customer for life now! Lisha is truly skilled, and very fairly priced.. and she is kind.. she never gives up.. and will always try to find a solution. I have a Guess black puffer jacket with silver zippers.. the zipper wouldn't work down the front and I took it to 3 places for remembering Lisha.. 2 said around $30 to replace the silver zipper with a black one, telling me the zipper on the jacket was not repairable. The third said due to the puffy quality of the jacket, that it wouldn't look right and I should just toss it. LISHA pulled out some needle nose pliers and opened up the pull part just a little and in 5 minutes.. voila.. it works again. She didn't charge me, asked only that I leave her a tip in her tip jar. I held back leaving a review a couple of times I came here after I received a couple not so customer friendly comments. Just wrote them off. Today was the last draw. First time I got told it was my fault the measurement was off and had to pay a second time to redo the jeans. Ok, let that go, and pay again. All while smiling and trying to make it seem normal. For the second one, I asked for a specific type of tailor to the sleeve, which I literally had to argue about. In the end, she did it how she chose, so I'd have to pay if I wanted to be done again. This time I just took it and walked out. No biggie since it was the shirt I was experimenting with. For the last one, I took 3 dress shirts. Two of them I wore to work (office setting) a couple of times, and 3rd one was clean off the hanger. Brought them in to get them tailored. When I picked them up, they were shoved in a grocery bag, so basically the clean shirt now has to be washed again. As I'm walking out she tells me "Next time wash your clothes before bringing them in, they smell". I'm literally sitting here smelling them as I write this and you can smell the cologne I wore that day. Super disrespectful but all with a smile. read more

You'll find it in the parking lot behind La Farola Empanadas. I took in 6 ill fitting pairs of pants I had stashed in my closet because her prices were reasonable. After the satisfactory experience with tailoring my pants, I took in an older suit for a very tough shoulder job, and it was tailored perfectly.
