If you searched for "aquarium stores", this store is listed. They don't sell any pet fish or equipment. Because I don't want to negatively impact their score, which is currently 4.8, I put 5 stars. read more

I stopped by here to pick up some dog food as I'm starting my dog on a raw diet and they have a great selection. I know good quality dog food and chews very well and this place has probably one of best selections of top quality products I have ever seen. The person who helped me was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful! So glad they are near my house and I'll definitely be back soon! read more

Jeff and Makayla are very knowledgeable and helpful. They both answered a lot of questions about my Frenchie and gave me some samples to take home and try out. This is the only place around that sells the Natural Dog Company Wrinkle Balm for Frenchies and it works wonders! Thanks Again Jeff/Makayla read more

I was driving through my old neighborhood when I notice this pet shop. Stop by to see if they had fish oils and found out this place is a gold mine. I believe his name is Jeff, he greeted us and let us know if we needed anything to reach out. We ended being there over 30 minutes talking to him as he was giving us recommendations and was so knowledgeable. I live about 30 minutes away but looks like I'm going to start coming here as they have such great products and Jeff is amazing. Thank you so much Jeff for your help and the samples. If your dogs health means anything, you should come check this place out. read more

Jeff, the manager took the time to help educate myself and my husband with ways to help us navigate feeding a sensitive stomach on our Siberian husky! Great place - you gave a new customer for sure!! read more

Overall: 5/5 Variety: 5/5 Price: $$ If you're looking for a place with unique dog treats that you can't typically find, definitely check out Ben's Barketplace! They also sell raw food so if you're interested in switching your dog to a raw diet or just learning more about it, they're very knowledgeable! read more

This place sells only healthy pet food for cats & dogs. There's also a dog washing service there. The employees there are knowledgeable, helpful, & nice. The items sold there are a little pricey, but your pet deserves the best. Just like humans, they too need to eat a healthy diet to remain healthy. A lot of pet food is filled with toxic junk like grains that cats & dogs don't eat in the wild. It'll probably cost you less in the long run to have to go to the vets if you feed them healthy stuff more often. If your pet is picky like my diva kitty is, then ask for samples. The employees there are generous with samples. They have everything there from the he usual stuff to broth, meat, fresh goat milk, etc... They also sell a few accessories & CBD oils too. Our picky baby liked some of the liquid food that we got her. This place is located in the Walgreens & Nob Hill shopping center in the corner. read more

I went here since I am on a food isolation diet for my 1 year old golden doodle to figure out what food maybe causing his allergies. The staff was welcoming , helpful and extremely knowledgeable.. big thank u! I will definitely be going back for more of my pets nutritional needs .. he has been out on a duck protein diet and a day in, he loves the duck patties and duck nibs I got him. read more

Decent selection of dog foods and supplies. My main reason for stopping was their self-wash bath station and I would not pay for this service again. You need to bring your own towels and the shampoos/conditioners are generic and programmed into the machine. $15 dollars gets you a total of 10 minutes (for the wash and dryer) which is not enough time. The staff were friendly and had good brands but for not the place for self service wash. read more

Dog and cat food galore! They have nothing but the healthiest stuff on the shelfs. I love coming here to browse and give my pooch a quick bath. It's a great place to try out different meal types for you favorite canine. A little expensive but worth it. And the staff know everything! Super helpful! read more

Wow! Never been here before and this location is close to my house then another pet store I go to. Huge parking lot. Max 10 customers at a time along with masks required. The staff here is super helpful and knowledgeable. They have a variety of food for both dogs and cats. I was not disappointed at all with the customer service, product and knowledge. The store is very clean. A young lady and man helped us out. They gave us good suggestions and will help our doggy beef up. We will definitely be returning here to purchase all our dogs food. read more

Ran across Ben's Barketplace while on an errand. I immediately ran home to pick up my 2 girls for the visit. There was a wide selection of food, particularly for a raw diet. Lucas was very helpful when talking about types of treats and food. We chatted and when he learned I cooked for my girls, he shared a few options for some frozen, already cooked meals they offer. Surprisingly, I was given a sample to take home. I liked the engagement. Instead of pushing a particular food, Lucas took time to understand what was important to me. Plus, my girls seemed to really like him, too. I highly recommend a visit to Ben's Barketplace for your dog/cat food and treat needs. Please help support small businesses. These are our neighbors. This is our community. read more

The staff are very kind and knowledgeable. I was provided with samples to try with my dog. Heather was amazing!

Was waiting for this place to open for a while. Drove by today and saw it was open and only went in to look for some turkey tendons for my dog. Ended up staying at the store for more than half an hour. The manager there greeted us right when we entered the store and asked us about our dog. We learned so much about what we were doing wrong and how we can help our senior dog be happier and healthier. He spent so much time with us in the store, telling us our different options and bringing us out a bunch of kibble and treat samples. Along with all that, we also received a coupon for 10% off our purchase. I really appreciated the time and patience the manager gave us as we asked our questions. I definitely will be returning in the near future, once I figure out what I want to be feeding my dog. Definitely would recommend this pet store to anyone who really loves and cares about their pet's health. They have the highest quality products and also their staff were extremely helpful. read more

First of all, I just want to say that I hardly ever post any reviews, but I just felt compelled to write one for this place. Upon entering the store, I received amazing customer service from Priscilla. She was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I spent a little over an hour at the shop and she answered all of my questions about the various toys, food and treats they had to offer. She even provided me with valuable advice and guidance regarding different diets that I could try with my new puppy based off of her experience with her two dogs. You could tell that she was very passionate about her job and making sure that she helped in the best way possible. As some of you may already know, some of these larger pet stores can be overwhelming, but she made my experience very comfortable. Priscilla is amazing and I'm sure you'd get the same experience from her or any of the other employees there. Overall, Ben's Barketplace is great! Pretty much had everything I was looking for. You can tell that they really pride themselves in the quality of service and products that they offer to their customers. The prices were reasonable and they had a good variety of brands to choose from without being too overwhelming. Coming here was a breath of fresh air compared to other mainstream pet stores. As a first time puppy owner, I plan on feeding my pup the same quality of food that I eat myself (weekly Whole Foods shopper =]). This is basically the Whole Foods of pet stores in my opinion. Definitely a 5 star rating from me and I would recommend Ben's Barketplace to my friends and every other dog or cat owner I come across. Check it out for yourself - you will not be disappointed! read more

Very few places carry my furry friend's food and I saw that this places as listed on the dog foods website. When we walked in we were greeted by multiple people and received assistance right away. The interior is super cute and they have so many good quality dog foods. They even carry cod skins which are difficult to find in store. I even got a coupon to use for next time! We will definitely be coming back here, thank you for the wonderful customer service! read more

I spend over $100 every 2 weeks and I put in a delivery order Friday around 12pm. By 6pm it still wasn't delivered. They had not called us to inform us of anything so we called and they said they were short staffed. Ok, no biggie. Well Saturday still no delivery and so we called and they told us they don't deliver on weekends. Well if that was the case you should have told me Friday and you also should have delivered the dog food at the end of your shift Friday. Besides not getting the dog food there was no communication. read more

Came in to Ben's Barketplace a few days ago to browse around. Awesome super friendly and knowledgeable staff! Shout-out to the whole crew, especially Patty and Jeff! I'm in Fremont for the summer dog sitting for my son. She's GSD and has been having health issues and I've always felt her diet was a problem so I convinced my son to let me transition her over to a much healthier kibble the one I feed my Shih Poo and not knowing the area I searched for places that carried Orijen Tundra in the large size and I found Ben's. It's about 20 miles from me but so worth the drive. I was a little disappointed to find out that they did not have the Tundra in stock (to be far it is not a poplar food because of its price and it's generally hard to find locally) and I probably should have called to verify first but I would missed visiting this extraordinary store. It was excellent like the pet store I shop at back home in Memphis but with waaaayyyy more variety on the treats, the incredible raw lines and the complete Adored Beast supplement line that I normally order from Canada because no one in Memphis sells it and I have it shipped to my son and a couple of times he ran out and was desperate. Now when he gets back I can show him this place. I just couldn't believe it! I also love Answers Goat milk and it's treats but they other products that I wanted to give my pup but my store carries a really small selection. Well Ben's had the duck eggs I had been wanting to try! So I'm glad I didn't call because I know being out here alone, I would not have driven that far. I also picked up some calming chews to get my pups ready for the fireworks. I'm going back next week! Jeff I hope you're there, I want to pick your brain on something. And oh the lady who wanted on me was sooooo nice. Sorry I can't remember her name but she was a taller lady. Thank you for this store. See you soon read more

I've came here a couple times already and I really like the products here! They have brands of raw food that most commercial pet food places do not sell. Everyone here is helpful and very nice as well. read more

Great little place to shop! They have a great variety of foods. What really caught my eye was the variety of ketogenic raw food. I'm a big fan of raw food, so I was amazed on the selection to choose from. Also the manger Jeff helped so much with explaining the differences between all the foods. I could tell that the staff take pride in learning products. The associates were also great with my pups ! Definitely making this my go spot for future purchases. I love supporting smaller shops vs corporate places, just because they take the time to learn products and foods and overall get to know your pups. They honesty don't try to pressure you to buy things. Big fan of this little shop ! read more

Great new pet store in Campbell! Friendly staff and owners welcomed us in and helped with our shopping needs. Jeff, store manager was very knowledgable and friendly spending time with us and answering all our questions. They offer high quality food and treats for my furry babies. I know it's called Barkington, but for cat people/rescue, there's a very good selection of cat items (food, treats, and a few toys) here. Would obviously love to see more, but I'll take what I can get. Folks working here understand the vet nuanced, wizarding world of feline nutrition and are very kind. read more

My dog is small so I don't need to buy food that frequently, but I always find an excuse to swing by this store! The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable, and you can trust that you're purchasing pet food with clean ingredients. I'm so glad that I don't have to do a ton of my own research and wonder what food/snacks to buy at a big pet store (with too many unhealthy options) anymore! read more

Friendly staff, clean store. I will never step foot in a Petco again. They have great natural food options.

Dream come true! This store has all the good, made in USA local brands like small batch, Austin and Kat, raised right, green juju I've been reading about. Prices are comparable to other stores as well. We will be back to support the local business! read more

I can't say enough great things about the people at Ben's Barketplace - Campbell The owner (maybe manager) is super knowledgeable and really wants the best for your dog. He let me vent about my frustration with my vet and putting him on this crap "prescription" food and guided me to this other clean food very low in protein and fat. Which is what My dog needs. They always give me samples (if they have them) before I buy and every recommendation has been great for my boys. Thank you guys so much. read more

Went in for the 1st time today and was helped by one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I feel bad because I I forgot her name, but she was a doll. She was a young lady with blonde hair. She gave us some amazing samples for our 16 year old cat....he loves everything! We also bought a few other things for him and will for sure be back! What a wonderful and caring place! read more

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Was able to pick up some healthier dog food and treats, we also received free samples which we loved.

Sorry to be the one to say that the young lady that was there at 3:30pm could not have been any ruder if she had tried. Don't know her name but she was actually pretending to be in charge. I had come there before to check out the dog wash before I brought my two Great Danes in and met with another Lady that was really friendly and showed me the dog wash and how it worked. She also gave me two tokens and two free dog wash coupons for future use. So I arrived and went into the store to see if the wash was being used. Ms. friendly told me that I had to pay up front and I showed her the two coins that had been given to me. "Who gave you those? I was asked, and told her that I didn't know her name. "That's not how we're supposed to do it" was her reply. I ignored her and asked if the wash was already set up. We went in and she pointed to the unattached ramp and walked away. So I did the bathes and when I was through, she asked me again to pay. I gave her the two coupons I had been given and she said as I was walking out the door, "next time you have to pay $15 each". Chances are that there won't be a next time for me. I gave three stars based on the good help I got on my initial visit but would have gone down to two if it was just about her. read more

Horribly over priced. The dog food I can get online for $96 gets sold at their store for $170. Holy crap! I had heard about this place, but wished I had visited way earlier. I stopped in just to browse the store and ended up leaving like I just walked about of Pet Nutrition 101. This is free education, people! The staff member, Jeff, is an encyclopedia of knowledge. Seriously. I suggested that he should have a blog because he might now become my go-to guy on any questions related to dog and cat diets. He generously gave me variety of samples to try at home. But I'm most grateful about getting information that will help me re-evaluate a better diet (and better health!) for my cats and dogs. My hope and goal has been to help prevent expensive visits to the vet and address some of dietary issues we've been experiencing. This store has the best of the best quality of pet food. I am happy to support them and really hope they stick around. read more

I would like to say that the staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is with the self wash dog station, for $15 you get 10 minutes to wash and dry your pet. I have a great Dane /English mastiff mix and it takes 10 minutes just to dry him. Barketplace did not provide any towels, so I brought a wet dog home. I would recommend going somewhere else for a self wash dog station read more

Highly recommend Bens! Great service staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable! They have nothing but the best quality foods for your pets! They have a large Raw food section and I was a newbie to the raw food world. The staff at Ben's made it easy for me and fun as well! Love coming to Ben's and my golden retriever Milo does as well! This is a great store to come and explore a variety of foods and treats as well for your dog. They made my experience feel more personal with them and they take the time and effort to really build a relationship with their clients. read more
