My cat that she said she didn't believe I had
    Alex M.

Staff was friendly. This review is mainly about the lady at the cat adoption. I went in earlier to find my cat a companion and what better than to rescue a cat in need of a home. I'll start by saying that's my last time trying to help a cat find a home & it's not their fault. Mainly the woman who was in charge of the adoption. She started off by saying I had to adopt 2 cats if I wanted to adopt any because "they come as a pair", in which I told her I already had a cat and was only looking to adopt 1, she said it was fine in that case but she wasn't as attentive or as helpful as she was being with other guest. Yes the other guest were of white or Asian race (I'm Hispanic). She didn't seem to question them in any way in terms of their housing and living conditions for their cat meanwhile when she finally gave me the time of day, she continued to question everything about me, my cat, and my home where I would be taking the cat. She stated earlier that only a few adoptions occur while she's there and I completely understand why. I tried to rescue and provide a home for a cat in need but she seemed to racially profile me and thought I was incapable of caring for one of the kittens which I thought wasn't fair and rude as she wasn't being that way with the other guests. She was looking for a way to say no to me in which by then I had already gotten the hint and no longer felt comfortable adopting any cat from this woman. If she treats you fair then by all means rescue these kittens as I'm all for having cats find a home but if you're any race other than white or Asian then I feel she will racially profile you and not let you adopt a cat. It was only irritating as I waited almost an hour and she treated me so poorly and did not end up letting me help one of these kittens. I believe her name was Ranae or at least that's what the card says. Anyways best of luck and this is the cat she accused me of not having that was looking for a buddy.

What's not to love about this store, clean and friendly, great selection of quality food for your pet and best of all buy three and get the fourth one free. This is my number one stop for my cats. Conveniently located in the heart of Campbell California. Here's some trivia: this used to be the old Tower Records music store in the 1980s. All the times have changed, the good times have not! The store associate Gabby is a rockstar, very friendly and communicative, great and positive demeanor. Makes a great and welcoming shopping experience with every moment. You will not be disappointed by shopping at this location.!

Loved the convenience of the dog wash! We will definitely be back. 25 min was more than enough to give our baby boy a nice clean! Only thing I wish was better was the dryer, it was a little on the cooler side and my pup was already freezing LOL but it's no worries. Great variety of treats and pet goods as well!!! Staff is so kind as well.

Our rabbit is very important to us so I set out to find the best possible pet sitter in the area for peace of mind, that was when I stumbled upon Furry Friends Pet sitting. We boarded our beloved senior rabbit (who is a very sassy bun) for 11 days as we had to leave for an overseas trip. Barbara is very great at communication from the first contact all throughout the duration of rabbit boarding. Questions are specific as in which veggies are most preferred, hay preference, vaccine and vet information. They also provided an enclosure with toys and hidey spots so all we had to do was drop our bun off in a carrier. She would send daily videos and photos along with detailed updates (like how she would lounge all day and snack on her hay and list the veggies she was fed). Barbara shows a lot of experience as she has a variety of veggies as well as regularly cleaning out the water bowl and tidying the enclosure. She would also spend time petting and changing up the toys and tunnels as well. Receiving texts on our bun was something I looked forward to during our trip as I would see how relaxed and comfortable she was! If you are looking for an experienced rabbit sitter in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to inquire here! Thank you so much for watching our bun! Photos below are from Barbara's daily updates.

That's when we found Lori Hamilton Dog Training -- and from the very beginning, Lori's approach was completely different. Lori showed no fear, no hesitation, and immediately established calm, confident leadership with Theo. She took him into her board-and-train program for six weeks, while also involving us in weekly training sessions throughout the process. Honestly, I think we learned just as much as Theo did -- maybe more. Lori helped us understand that successful training isn't just about changing the dog's behavior; it's about teaching the humans how to communicate clearly, consistently, and confidently. One thing Lori shared with us that really stood out was that many trainers focus primarily on obedience, while a crucial part of her work is emotional rehabilitation. That distinction became incredibly meaningful to us. Theo didn't just need commands -- he needed help learning how to feel safe, regulated, and confident in the world. You could see that deeper transformation happening throughout his training. Another thing that meant so much to us throughout the process was how communicative Lori and her team were. They regularly sent us videos of Theo's training and progress, which was both encouraging and incredibly comforting while he was away from home. Watching him succeed and gain confidence week by week gave us so much hope. The transformation we witnessed in Theo was incredible. Before Lori, Theo was reactive with strangers, and we genuinely believed we might never be able to safely take him to public places. By the end of training, we were working with him off-leash at the park, watching him respond reliably to commands, and feeling hopeful again about his future -- and ours. What impressed us most was how comprehensive Lori's training was. She worked with us not only at her facility, but also at a public dog park and in our own home. At the end of his training, she even had us invite a group of friends over specifically to help Theo practice safely navigating people entering his space -- the area where we'd experienced the greatest challenges with him. That level of real-world training made such a difference. The impact Lori had on us was so significant that we also ended up sending our other dog, Raya, to train with her. Raya already had excellent obedience and followed commands well, but she has always been an anxious dog despite previous training. Lori's focus on emotional rehabilitation made us realize there was another layer of support available for her, too. Theo is still young, and we know training is an ongoing process, but now we actually have tools, confidence, and support. And perhaps most importantly, we know we have Lori in our corner moving forward -- both for continued training and for boarding when we travel. Before finding Lori, we had pretty much resigned ourselves to the idea that vacations together simply wouldn't be possible for the rest of Theo's life. We also can't say enough wonderful things about Lori's staff. Every single person we interacted with was kind, knowledgeable, patient, and clearly cared deeply about the dogs. During Theo's stay, we genuinely felt like he was being treated as part of the family -- and so were we. We are beyond grateful for everything Lori and her team have done for us and for Theo, and we truly cannot recommend LHDT highly enough.

We are not new dog owners and with our previous dog, we lived the best life - traveling across US and Canada, flying on planes, staying in hotels, dining at Michelin star restaurants, going to work at the office, walking off leash, etc - with zero professional training. He actually was a puppy school drop out! We learned that all dogs are different and with our new pups, we needed help on dealing with behavioral issues like reactivity. Through positive reinforcement, Amy coached us on how to loose leash walk our dogs in heel position. She also showed us how to do "place" work, use spatial pressure and how to get our dogs to focus on us around distractions. We also learned how to turn up our praising game verbally and with treats! Trainings were mainly at Butcher Park which is a very high pressure environment given the amount of dogs at any given time. It really put us to the test and honestly, we were challenged! It's hard work. We had homework after each lesson, but we committed to practicing in between lessons. We weren't perfect but we always showed up ready to learn, and to give and receive feedback each time with the goal of growing and improving. We ended up doing "board and train" for both of our dogs (one at a time) and we couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. We needed a jumpstart and Amy gave us the knowledge and tools to set us up for how we want to live our lives with our French bulldogs. She truly loves dogs and wants the best for them and their owners. We highly recommend Amy!

His fear was only made worse by social distancing and not being around new people. Once Covid settled a bit we sought out a trainer for him.
