I went to Cynthia to have my brows laminated. She did a great job. Listened to exactly what I wanted. Also suggested some great products to help me maintain the lamination and to make sure my eyebrows stayed healthy. read more

When Liz (who was the only esthetician I would let touch my brows) moved out of town, she recommended Yellie. Yellie is an amazing talented esthetician. She is very personable and genuinely nice. Getting my brows done by her is like going to a spa. I always leave looking and feeling fabulous, confident that my brows look perfect. She recommended Benefit skin care products, that I would never have considered, and they have been a game changer for my skin. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment with Yellie. I promise you will not regret it. read more

I went to Yellie and she did a FANTASTIC job with waxing my eyebrows. She is so kind and such a good listener. I highly recommend booking with her!! read more

Okay so the girl I had previously went to no longer works here. And I'm always very understanding and willing to switch my aesthetician (considering I've done it a couple times here). So now I go to Yellie! But so far so good. I usually wait a good month or so to grow out my brows and she does such a great job at cleaning them up. We're also always having the funniest conversations. 10/10 would recommend her! read more

I love the convenience of Benefits Brow Bar at the Macy's Sunvalley Mall. I can never set a firm monthly appointment but when I do its either with Yelli or Annalee. Both are very good at this service. Macy's should be appreciative of having these 2 gals. Both are kind and professional. read more

I been going here for years they always get it right, i usually book with Yellie, she does a great job highly recommend. I have also booked with annale good service at this location read more

Came in on a Sunday and I was so happy I got to schedule an appointment in the next 40 mins. Anayeli was my brow girl and lemme just say her work is bomb! I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and she made sure to check in with me and make sure she made me feel welcome. She is so very meticulous about her work. She gives u a mirror at the start of the session to go over what it is you want to do. I'm so impressed with her customer service and her work does the talking! I definitely wanna go to her before my wedding so my eyebrows are on point! read more

Wedding week appointment scheduled for 11:15am with Yellie on Monday. Showed up 15 mins early because I know they get busy. Nobody in site, nobody at the register it's DEAD. I wait 15 past my appointment after still seeing nobody. I gave grace thinking maybe someone Is on break and working alone. NOPE. Didn't even show up!! I finally asked macys' and they said a district manager was suppose to reach out to me regarding my appointment because the girl I had an appointment with wasn't there. Didn't receive a call from ANYBODY. Was literally the only day I could get an appointment for my wedding because everywhere else is booked. It's been two days still haven't received a call. Unprofessional of benefit and the district manager to inform me that their worker wasn't going to be here or that my appointment was cancelled. Not even a call for apology. I even got a email reminder of my appointment! Sad because yellie was recommended from a client who goes monthly but now I won't be going there. read more

All right I have an all new favorite from Benefit. The POREfessional. My genetics dictate that you will more than likely be starring into my pores than my baby blues. Therefore I need all the help I can get. POREfessional is a balm like substance that comes in a tube that minimizes the appearance of pores. Its silky and soft and sometimes I just wear it by itself without any concealer. I need all the silky smoothness I get now these days. There is another product called High Beam. It's known as the "supermodel in a bottle"! Hmmm, with my lack of height and fat ass I also need to have as much super model to rub off on me as possible. When I feel like I need a slight glow I just brush on a little High Beam and I'm positively beaming. Or so I think. I am also becoming a big fan of buying my products online rather than coming in to the store. But this location is very convenient. So I do still stop by occasionally. If you see me beaming as the consummate professional, you'll know why. read more

As the Duchess of the Concord Benefit Brow Bar at Macy's, and having written a review over 2 years ago, I thought it was time for an update. I continue to come regularly, and almost exclusively see Anna. Anna is THE best at what she does. I always feel like a new woman after I pay her a visit. She knows how I like my brows, and she waxes, tweezes, and trims them back into shape in no time at all. She's friendly, professional, and efficient. For a "special occassion," I'll splurge for lashes. When I first started, I'd do a half set (the outer corners). The half set is cheaper than a full set, and is great for every day. For my birthday, I had Anna do a full set. What a difference it made - even with my glasses on. For vacation, I told her I didn't want to have to wear eye makeup in the daytime, and she did not dissappoint. My lashes were AMAZING! They were full, long, and stayed on for the duration of my trip - even though I spent hours in the pool & on the dance floor. One thing I know - everyone always has lash envy after I come see Anna. The rest of the staff here are also friendly and helpful. I'm exclusively using Benefit products for my face: Concealer, Foundation, Powder & Blush. I make sure I always shop with the girls here (paying with my Macy's card doesn't hurt either. Until next time! read more

In my last review I recommended Andy, she is no longer with benefit. I have been now going to Anna for the past few years and she is a master at brows! She is fast and really good at what she does. I couldn't imagine going to anyone else. Only complaint I have is the pricing, pretty expensive and doesnt include the tip. read more

I've been getting my eye brows threaded for the past 10 years due to retinol use and decided to get them waxed at this location. Yellie was so sweet and attentive especially when I told her I used retinol every now and then. She made sure to spot treat me to see how my skin would react to the wax and turns out my skin was completely fine! I feel like she is catering to my face shape and making sure I have the best brows. You'll be in great hands with Yellie! So glad I came in! read more

Sadly, after many years, Anna has left this location. She opened up her own studio called Anna does brows in downtown concord, and of course I've followed her there! If I'm ever in a bind I'll still get waxed at the brow bar though read more

Love going to this place, have been a customer for 2+ years. Liz is my go to and I definitely recommend going to her! So kind, professional, and great customer service. read more

Was in desperate need of getting my brows done. Since the Brow Bar in the JCPenney is no longer active I had to turn somewhere. I had been to this location before like a year ago, my service was great but the girl was extremely rude so I was hesitant. I called right when I got off work and the girl said just come before 6:30. I got in at like 6:15ish and was greeted by the lovely aesthetician Sam. I had her do my brows as well as lip & sides. She asked me how I preferred my brows and I told her I really want to start a arch if possible, she said it should be no problem. She took just enough off and I am in love! Will come back for Sam definitely! Thanks girl! :) UPDATE 5/6: so I'm not sure if my skin was extra sensitive yesterday but this morning I was putting on my makeup and I noticed on my left browbone it looks like the wax burnt it? I'll still come to get my brows done here but people with extra sensitive skin be careful! read more

This was my second appointment with Yellie. The first appointment she was 10 minutes late working on walk in, but I stayed and the brow wax was fine. I had an appointment today she was 15 minutes late when I finally left. She acknowledge me when I arrived, but didn't bother to tell me she took a walk in and would be running late. What is the point of making an appointment? I'll be heading to Ulta's or another Benefit brow bar rather than wasting my time again. read more

The week of your birthday, if you sign up for the Benefit Birthday club online, you get a free brow waxing/shaping. It's a really awesome gift, especially if you don't get to do fun and special stuff like that a lot, like me! I didn't schedule an appointment but they took me anyway. The benefit representative who helped me "Lex" was really perky and friendly, but she kept insulting me, which I didn't like. And I don't know why, maybe because I didn't schedule an appointment?! Not sure. But I didn't come to the Benefit Counter to be put down. If I knew I was only going to be insulted for my beauty ways (or lack thereof, as she alluded), which may not have matched what she does for herself, I never would have signed up to receive this special gift for my birthday and I wouldn't have come to this Benefit Brow Bar Location. Way to make someone feel celebrated and special on their own birthday. After sitting there listening to her "suggestions", I politely thanked her for her "help". I didn't walk away from that experience feeling good, I regretted going there. Representatives/employees of "Fancy" brands need to realize customers experience life challenges and should not be judged because of what they can or cannot do for themselves. I would not return to this Benefit Brow Location for any reason, I would advise anyone to not visit this location, but to go to the store Ulta, where they also have a Benefit Brow Bar, you might get better service there. read more

There's 5 people working at this benefit brow bar. 1 is waxing and the other 4 are standing there doing nothing. I've been here for 20 minutes and the finally come up and tell me that they give a 5 minute grace period to people with an appointment. I've been here waiting since 11:05 and they are waiting for people with an 11:20 appointment. I'm literally sitting here watching them all chat and stair at their phones and snapchatting If they had better customer service I would give them a much better rating because my eyebrows always turn out great. read more

the Benefits Brow Bar at Macy' Sunvalley has gone downhill since Diana left :-( I've called to try and get an appt after work and they say they a re "booked"...I drop by and half the time they have at least an hour wait but girls are just standing around or the highlight was when I stopped yesterday and they said they were "closed" because someone called in sick.. Excuse me...there were 2 girls there and the book wasn't full. So I have decided I will go to Macy's in WC and have Diana's sister Bianca do my brows from now on. read more

I really like this counter! The employees are always really nice and I love a lot of Benefit's products! Sometimes they can be a little pushy with sales, but they are salespeople, so I forgive them ;) read more

I've had a mix of experiences at this specific Brow Bar. Some days, I walk in and ask if they have time for a walk-in appointment. On these days, I'm told they have time and I'll have to wait 30-60 minutes, and finally sit with someone. The ladies that work at the brow bar are awesome, so this review doesn't reflect their abilities. I've never walked away from this place feeling upset about my eyebrows. But the wait time is ridiculous at times. I've also scheduled appointments here, and I've had to wait about 20 minutes prior to making an appointment. When you call Macy's to schedule an appointment, you don't really get a warm welcome or offer to schedule an appointment. Unsure if these are the girls at the counter, or maybe interim people picking up the phones. I used to work at a Benefit counter when I was in college at a different location, and so I know the training for Benefit encourages happy, sweet, very accommodating people, wish that would be relayed over the phone! I just tried to schedule an appointment on the phone right now, and to no avail had no help, was given two appointment times today and two tomorrow on the phone. Then was given a "you might just want to try a walk-in". Come on man, it's a recession - doesn't this counter want consumer business?! I'll go to the Berkeley Boutique over this place next time. read more

Brows done - check. Brushes bought: 3 Indulgence cream to slather all over: 1 Great service - check. I love Benefit. I love spoiling myself rotten with their products. I've stopped by here a few times, I like how there's usually 3 people working at all times. The girls are always so sweet and always approach you within five minutes of you browsing around. I am very picky with my eyebrows and not to sound cocky or arrogant but I'm just telling the truth lol but I'm known for my eyebrows. My eyebrows are ALWAYS bangin and I have one person and one person only to thank for that....ANDIE!! She is THE BEST. She is the ONLY person in the world that I trust to ever touch my eyebrows. If she's not available I won't go. I always book with her once every 4 weeks. I love it and I love her...she's AWESOME!!! read more

This is my first time getting my brows done at a Macy's Benefit Counter since they closed the one at JcPenny I hadn't got my brows done... I got recommended Sam by a friend that goes there and I decided to book an appointment since her brows looked amazing! I booked an appointment last night and I was so happy to see that I was able to book one with Sam! I work at the mall as well so as soon as I got off I went right to Macy's and I got greeted right away by Sam, she made me feel super comfortable and made the process so smooth. She has such an incredible personality and definitely brought my brows back to LIFE. I definitely recommend coming to see her and a service by her, also her makeup was BOMB! Thank you Sam read more

I got a brow wax and fill in for my thin brows. I went in on a whim because I had a Macy's gift card. Nancy was my brow expert, made an appointment 20 minutes before walking in. The appointment took like 35 minutes. Kind of long, if you ask me, but Nancy spent a long time showing me where/how to line up my brows and fill-in with powder/pencil later on for a beautiful, polished brow. I will post pics soon. Total cost: $20 + tip read more

Anna is the absolute best!! I refuse to get waxed by anyone else, Anna is the only person I trust completely with my brows. She leaves them perfect every time and is very professional and sweet. The last 3 times I've tried to drop in to get my brows done I've been told 20-40 minutes for a wait time. After 60 minutes I have had to leave without a treatment. I think I should learn my lesson and stop trying to come here to drop in. read more

I live in Tracy and will make time when I work in the bay area to go see Sarah! Ahhh, I love her! She is SO fun and so easy to talk to, which is nice considering you are face-to-face with with one of these ladies for 20 minutes. She has done a fantastic job! I never thought my eyebrows could have the shape they do today and what a difference they make! I can't speak on the products as I don't use them, but I will continue to make time to see Sarah because she is FABULOUS at what she does! I'd suggest calling ahead if possible to make an appointment. I've done drop-ins but I'm not a big fan of waiting, I'd rather just show up for my appointment and be in and out. read more

I come to this location and the Berkeley Store regularly. Today I came at 6:55 and was told that brow services were closed for the day even though the employee I spoke to said herself the last appointment is usually 7:40. I tried calling a few times a few hours before and on the hour but the phones went to a voicemail set up. I was irked that I couldn't get ahold of them on the phone and then when I just came anyway ready to possibly wait, they just decide to close early for the day. I'm a little perplexed. Business hours are business hours for a reason aren't they? Every girl understands the struggle of when they really need their brows did and this was one of those times. Also, the woman who was the only one there, I believe had to be the manager, made no efforts to accommodate me herself. Upon speaking to berkeley staff today, they said it was very strange that they were closed early AND that I wasn't just accommodated. Otherwise all the gals I've had wax my brows here are great. But because of this, I think I'll stick with the Berkeley location. read more

Liz is the best at shaping brows. She also is very fast and gets you in and out right away. 10/10 recommend

Yes. I am a fan. I am a fan of the brow girl DIANA not so much the price they just raised their prices by 2 dollars which brings the price up to $20 without tip. I always set up my appointments with DIANA. She's very sweet and really knows her stuff. I love coming to her because she takes care of my brows and she's very friendly so it's not like we have an awkward conversation while I get my brows waxed. Plus after she's done she always offers to give my brows a "brow lift and highlight" which basically means she darkens my brows and highlights it with some of their benefit make up. DIANA is great and worth the wait!!!! read more

I came here because I go to the Benefit boutique in Los Gatos on occasion and always have a great experience. The ladies at this brow bar are extremely attentive. I stood at a counter for only a few seconds before a representative approached me and asked me if I need help or had an appointment. My aesthetician was Niccole. She was very personal- usually I hate small talk, but she made an apparent effort to make me feel comfortable. She also has a good understanding of when it is appropriate and when it is not appropriate to ask a question. I usually find myself battling wax on my face or a hand on my nose when aestheticians ask me questions while waxing, but it wasn't the case this time. She was very thorough and insisted on getting the last straggling hairs, but there were still a few blatant out-of-place hairs I found when I got home and tweezed. Maybe more natural lighting or a close-up mirror would help alleviate the problem? Overall, great service and I will come back again if I ever find myself in Walnut Creek and in need of a wax. read more

I went from loving thread to loving Wax. Never going back!! Benefit Brow Bar in Concord is the only place I go for eyebrows, I Always leave this place satisfied!
