I tried out this pizzeria because of a win it wednesday promotion with New Country 94 where I texted in and received a free two topping small pizza. Upon arrival at the pizzeria the man before me tried to strike up a conversation with the employee, while I stood there waiting to be served. I showed the employee my text and he asked me to delete it, which I did and he no questions asked made the pizza for me. He seemed a little disgruntled but not sure it was about me and my free pizza or just more in a grumpy mood in general. Closer to when I was leaving their moods lifted and they asked me questions about the radio station and if I had ever tried their pizza. I had never even heard of their pizza before and told them if it was good I would definitely be back as it was very close to the route I take home from work. My pizza looked good, although one side was more thinner crust and the other had a quite thick crust so they didn't roll it out well but overall it was really good. Lots of cheese and a little minimal on the toppings, but it was free so I definitely am not complaining about that.
Overall, I would go here again for sure. The pizza was good and they made a much better impression on me on my way out than when I first arrived.
Additionally, while I was there someone called and the employee complained to them that they lived so far and would prefer they pick up over getting it delivered and explained that delivery guys spending an hour to deliver one pizza was a little too far and that they lived off tips etc. I feel as if he was trying to ensure his delivery guy was properly tipped but in the end think it probably made the individual less likely to give a good tip. read more
