This shit is fire Literally has best pizza I have ever had totally recommend this joint

    Banana cream pie

Been here quite a few times. The pizza is not to my liking (but everyone I have gone with has thought otherwise), but the thing that keeps bringing me back is the banana cream pie! It's made in house and is always great! The service is hit or miss...

Shrimp Alfredo (one order) and personalized pizza

My boyfriend absolutely loves pizza! This place was a 3 minute walk from the hotel we were staying at. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very warm and reminded me of home. My boyfriend ordered a personalized pizza and I ordered shrimp Alfredo. The personalized pizza was made just the way my boyfriend prefers it with the cheese on top of the toppings. The pizza was made to perfection and he absolutely inhaled his meal. He said that this was the best pizza he has ever had. The pasta I ordered was a huge portion. The restaurant didn't specialize in pasta, so it was a plain generic pasta dish that I could have whipped up myself. All in all, come here and try the pizza because u won't regret it

    Spicy Club pizza

Me and my girlfriend are currently trying to find the best pizza place around elgin st, so naturally we decided to take a long look in the google yelps comments to see what people thought about it, one thing that was very odd that we quickly noticed about the reviews is that most of them were either great or garbage and there was almost no in between. I would personally call myself a pizza connoisseur since i've hate alot of experience eating pizza when I used to work for Gabriel's pizza. I had 50% off so naturally I had to order the whole menu. Here's our review : Ordered Pizza : Spicy Club Crust : 7.5 / 10 Flavor : 3 / 10 Sauce : Barely any sauce Overall Rating : 6 /10 we were expecting this place to be awesome after picking it up from the restaurant since the restaurant had one of those home made pizza smells, however after trying my first piece I was greatly disappointed : The pizza did not look aesthetically pleasing and flavours were not present at all!!! However, the crust was actually decent. I would not recommend this place to a friend :/ So we are still in a mission to find the best pizza in Ottawa!

I love pizza so I'll eat pizza anywhere but I really appreciate GOOD pizza. And I can totally attest that colonnade makes one of the best pizzas Ottawa. Their pizza is thick, very generous on cheese and toppings and good quality. It's very filling and makes for a really good meal. Depending on your appetite, I'd say in general I've never been able to eat more than 2 slices out of a large pizza. Usually, between two people if you get a large( the price difference between medium and large is only 3$ so obviously I have to get a large) , you'll have plenty left over for the next day. And trust me, it taste amazing the next day too. The restaurant itself has really cute old school diner vibes. The service is always excellent. Their beer is also pretty decently priced. The pizza itself is on the higher end of price for pizzas, but it's worth it. My personal favourites are Santa Fe and Mediterranean. On a large, you can do half and half of different kinds depending on the type of pizza. Ohhh and their deserts are also so good! Coconut cream pie!! And they're pretty cheap and very large serving. I love colonnades and recommend it to everyone. One bad (but maybe good) thing is that it's only open till 9pm. Oh and their garlic sauce is also great!

    The combination! It's great .

The place is easy to find. The wait staff are pleasant and attentive. We ordered a medium pizza to share. It was amazing. The crust was nicely done and the toppings just right.

Despite all the reviews that have been raving about this place, I completely disagreed that this is "Ottawa's Best Pizza" ... but then I thought about it a little more, and I couldn't name a better pizza place in Ottawa. How sad is that!?!? The pizza had its high points and low points. Good crust, the toppings were both fresh and fantastic, but the something about the sauce or bread just had an off, vaguely bitter hint to it. It was a bit soggy and greasy, too, but at least it wasn't burnt and crispy? EIther way, I shouldn't have to justify pizza like that. So maybe they're better than the competition, but it's also kinda like being the smartest kid on the short bus. Sorry!

Pizza in review: Small Hawaiian Take out Price: 3.5 On Phone Service: 2 In store service: 3 Look: 3.25 Flavour: 4.5 Crust: 3.5 Toppings quantity: 4.5 Toppings quality: 3 Sauce: 3.75 cheese: 4.5 Garlic Dip: 4.5 AVERAGE: 3.64 How it all came together: 4.5 TOTAL: 4.07 The pizza was, over all, very good. The price is on par with other pizza places in the area. The services on the phone and in the store felt rushed but for good reason. The crust was thick but cooked well not soggy or floppy. Average toppings (cubed ham, diced pineapple) but absolutely covering the pizza. Cheese coats the toppings and is plentiful. The Garlic dip, if for nothing else, get the dip. Probably made in house and one of the best I have ever had.

Cancels orders made through services like UberEats when they can't reach you on the phone. Um... those orders are pre-paid. 1970's anyone?

The restaurant is cuter inside than I thought. There are some window seats for people-watching on bank st. There are also some hanging lights by the windows. The pizza crust has the perfect crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside texture. It's so good it doesn't even need any dip. I tried both the nerd pizza and the mushroom pizza. The nerd pizza had pickled onions, black pepper molasses bacon, cheese and chili Basil honey. I loved the tangy pickled onions, with the salty-sweet bacon, and the spicy honey. The combination was just perfection. I could use a little more chili though! The mushroom pizza was a white pizza with portobello mushrooms, parm, and truffle oil. The salty parm and the meaty portebello mushrooms were a good combo, but I didn't really taste any truffle oil. I felt like this pizza was good but missing a little something to take it to the next level. Overall, the food was delicious. The drinks are reasonably priced (beer, local kombucha). However, the service was mediocre. I think they only had one or two servers working the entire area on Friday night.

I live really close by but for some reason have never tried Georgie's until recently. I got some…read moretakeout for my husband and I to share. I got a Hot Turkey sandwich platter $13.75 and a slice of Donair pizza $4. They sell pizzas by the slice, but they are not displayed so you have to ask them what kinds they have. The day I went, if I remember correctly, they had 4 types: Cheese, Pepperoni, Bacon and Donair. Slices are $4 each or $5 with a can of pop. 2 slices is $8 or $9 with a can of pop, so no discount if you buy more. However, they do have a pickup discount, which is the equivalent amount to the taxes you would pay. So essentially if you pick up, they pay the tax :) The Hot Turkey sandwich platter was really good. It came with fries and coleslaw. I liked that the coleslaw was vinegar based and not mayo based. It was mostly cabbage with a bit of carrot. I enjoyed it. The fries were just regular fries but they were crispy and good. The sandwich had real turkey breast meat in it (can you believe that I once ordered a hot turkey sandwich and it was a deli meat turkey sandwich covered in gravy?!? Obviously not at this restaurant, lol). The bread was the regular white sandwich bread, but what really set this sandwich apart was the delicious peppery gravy. Man, that stuff is really good! The pizza was good too. They put toppings under the cheese here, which is not my preference, but I still enjoyed it. The donair was thick pieces and tasted more like sausage, but it was still good. The sauce has a distinct flavour to it, which I can't pinpoint, but I liked it. The crust was crispy and even though the crust was thicker than I usually like, I still enjoyed it. I liked that the slice came in a cute cardboard box. The platter came in an aluminum container, but the lid was styrofoam. I'm not a fan of styrofoam, I would have preferred a foil-backed cardboard lid. Service was friendly and I got my food pretty quickly. The restaurant is a strip of businesses along Carling Ave just west of Churchill Ave N. There's free parking at the back of the strip. There's a sign and you have to turn in before you actually see the strip of businesses (Georgie's, Sapporo Sushi, and a few other businesses). If you turn into the parking lot after the strip, that one actually belongs to a different strip mall (the one with Markie's Smoked Meat and Mr. Sub). There are signs indicating you can only park there if you are going to a business in that strip mall. Not sure what enforcement is like, but why chance it if there's also free parking in the proper place, right? Since there's a huge median along this part of Carling Ave, you can only access the restaurant if you are driving westbound on Carling. Georgie's has its main entrance on Carling but there's also a back entrance from the parking lot.

Simply put...AWESOME PIZZA…read more I have ordered from here a few times and I'm embarrassed to say I neglected to review each time before now, I was typically so hungry I just jumped right in... alas I digress. I have had a few different types of pizzas here, in the end my favourite is the cheese. Yup, straight cheese. Seems basic, but the flavour is outstanding and the dough ball to keep the box from sticking to the cheese is a classically delicious touch. I really like the flavour combinations of the cheese with the sauce puts many other to shame. If you are in this end of the town, give this place a shot, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back for sure.
