I can deal with the price if it is worth it. The problem 15 bucks for a burger so dry it scratched the roof of my mouth and fries so salty they would increase salinity in the ocean they totally unedible. I ate some and tried to wipe some of the salt off failed still to salty. Gotta say this is definately not worth the money. Our only criticism of the burger was the patty turned out fairly thin and small. But the taste was there. For our first visit to BBC, we ordered the Phil's Trail Philly steak sandwich with sweet potato tots, the Bachelor Brat hamburger, and a side of garlic fries. Everything was delicious! The Philly steak sandwich had tender, lean steak - thankfully no chewy fat to catch me by surprise as I bit into it! Also, this was the first time I had had sweet potato tots, and I must say that the delicate sweet flavor paired with the light dusting of seasoned salt they put on them was just perfect. My only recommendation might be to put a little less garlic on the garlic fries. I love garlic, but it was not only over-powering, but overly sweet, as well. I could have done with a bit less garlic and maybe the addition of fresh grated Parmesan cheese. Overall, I would definitely return on another trip to Bend! read more

The bacon and blue cheese combo is always good and this was particularly so. I would order this again. I would not order the fries again, way too potatoey. I did enjoy some of the tater tots my dad ordered though, lots of flavor. My wife didn't love her skyline sandwich, she thought it was too greasy and didn't like the flavor of the meat. A bit disappointed in the fries as they were cool and seemed fried in old oil. If the fries had been as good as the burgers, I'd have rated this higher. Awesome burgers! The homemade buns are great--even made me want to try baking my own for once! Their fry sauce we used to dip our onion rings has this yummy smoky flavor with a kick. My daughter ordered the garlic fries so we could share both the fries and onion rings. I personally like heavy garlic. Unfortunately these were a little too heavy on the minced garlic. All the fries are fresh cut so if you are on the fence about garlic fries versus regular fries, I would go with regular. read more

While the site reports a family-owned business with local beef and daily fresh bread we found it very over priced for the quality and wouldn't return or recommend. The fries, tots, and onion rings were limp and chewy vs crispy. The garlic fries were worse. They piled on a lump of strong minced garlic that was so strong I couldn't even eat it. In town for one night and determined to try the BBC, I wasn't hungry enough for a typical burger with more toppings like cheese or bacon so I settled on a smaller Bond Street Mini burger. The "mini" part just means that it's not as big as the usual burgers but in no way are these burgers small. A Mini burger and included fries would be plenty for an adult. As reviews state and pictures suggest, everything about the the burgers is fresh, including the soft homemade buns which are excellent. I was most impressed by the beer battered onion rings. For an additional charge, I ordered them instead of the included fries with my burger. Not only do you get A LOT of them, but they are damned tasty! That faint malty beer taste elevates these rings to the next level. SO GOOD! Otherwise, as many others have said, the place is clean and service is good. Because I was there at 7 p.m. on a week night I didn't experience a long wait like so many others have reported - in fact, I was shocked when my food was brought to my table probably within 5 minutes after ordering it. It was all piping hot and fresh so I know it was cooked to order. Bend Burger Company is a solid choice for burgers in Bend but I dare you to find better onion rings. Passing through Bend, OR & stopped at Bend Burger for lunch. We are gluten free so we asked if they have GF hamburger buns & they do...we usually order without the bun because hard to find a good GF bun. We were very pleasantly surprised that the GF bun was very good & held together & the hamburger itself was excellent...my husband commented that it may have been the best burger he has ever had. The fries were also very good. The only thing I would have done differently is order a smaller size...the burgers were really big & I didn't find out that there is a smaller burger until we were done eating & I was waiting to use the bathroom & saw it on the lower right side of the menu! No way I could finish my fries because too much food. But if you want a great hamburger, Bend Burger is your place. read more
