Customer service alone from our waitress, Fin, deserves 5 stars! She was friendly, attentive, and…read moremade our experience enjoyable. The food, however, was closer to a 3. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. Unfortunately, they don't offer jumbo crabs--they sell them as #1 or #2. We ordered two dozen #1s, and on this visit they were small to medium at best. They were still tasty for what was available, just not what we were hoping for. The view was beautiful, and I imagine it's even better around sunset or at night. Overall, it's not a bad spot to stop for seafood if you're already in the area, especially if you're looking for a nice waterfront atmosphere.

I went to Tim's at Lake Anna's on Good Friday. The service…read morewas "ok". Our server was very friendly however the wait time was kind of long and when we came it wasn't that crowded. I ordered the oysters casino, they weren't that good, they were lukewarm. For my main meal I got the stuffed flounder and that had no taste whatsoever the crab was burnt, my side was corn (which they forgot to bring) the corn tasted like they just poured it straight from the can. My daughter's meal had a long strand of hair on top, it was baked into her meal. Another person in our party sent her food back twice, the first time it had hair on top (second time with hair in the food) and then after she was almost finished with her meal there were bugs on the bottom of her plate. Overall experience for my first time dining here kind of sucked.. not gonna lie. I don't recommend this place. Happy Easter !!

Their menu was quite large, with hot dogs, cold subs, hot sandwiches, and paninis listed. They also feature a couple soups daily. When we went, they had a loaded baked potato soup and a lobster bisque. The young girl working the front was very happy and helpful and gave some good suggestions too. The place is quaint, with several tables and lots of historic signs on the walls. We started with their baked potato soup - The overall flavor was nice. But the potatoes in it were rubbery, like they used the wrong type of potato or maybe over-cooked it. Also, the soup was just warm, far from being served hot. Next up were the sandwiches - I chose the BBQ chicken sandwich, which had thinly sliced chicken breast on it, along with BBQ sauce, mayo, and onions. The sandwich was pressed, like a panini and was pretty good. I liked the smokiness of the BBQ sauce. I also got a bottle of their homemade root beer and it was pretty good. They serve Route 11 potato chips, which are my favs! So, I had to pick up a bag of Mama Zuma for later - those things are spicey, hot, and tasty! Overall, it's a nice spot, I can see them being a popular lunch spot downtown.
