I appreciated that they also put the reels in order and labeled the digital files based on what we had written on the old reels themselves. Service and communication was top notch, and they finished the conversion on time for us to enjoy the videos at Christmas. I highly recommend their service!

The videos look amazing, and my wife and I have been watching them nonstop for the past few days. You can provide your own HDD or SSD for the file transfers, or he can provide them for you. I tossed all the videos into a Plex server and stream them to my 75 inch 4K TV and they all look fantastic. Audio completely flawless and in sync too. Many of them were upscaled to 1080p and both picture and audio are great. If you're into audio/video stuff you'll have some great conversations with him. If not, don't sweat it and he'll take care of everything... you don't have to worry about a thing. Mike is super nice dude, does a great job, and his pricing is fair too. I will absolutely go back if I can dig up more old tapes that need digitizing. Some of these tapes have friends and family members who have passed away and these videos are quite literally priceless to us. You have no idea how happy my wife and I are. I saw they do everything in-house by hand to avoid items being lost in the mail, or damaged in a bulk scanner... but on top of that the customer service is top notch and the quality of the digitized photos are absolutely amazing. Everything was explained on their website, and again in person when I dropped the photos off. They were quick, efficient, and VERY reasonably priced.

Thankfully, I was able to get a bulk discount by converting multiple reels at a time. I made several trips to drop off and pick up the converted videos. Each time, the person I dealt with or spoke with on the phone was very friendly, personable, and professional. They all couldn't have been nicer. The time it took to convert each set of filmstrips was reasonable. The quality of the converted videos turned out excellent! I am very pleased with how they turned out and have been sharing the links with many friends and family. The videos are truly treasured keepsakes. DVD Your Memories was recommended by one of my cousins and it certainly worked out that this location was very convenient. I can't recommend this place enough!

-- Worth every penny for memories we thought were gone…read more I can't say enough good things about this business. From the moment I placed my order, I was blown away by how professional and fast the whole process was. They expedited my order without me even having to ask, which meant the world to me. Marisol was the person I worked with, and she made this entire experience so much easier than I expected. She kept me updated every step of the way and even walked me through the different ways I could access my digital videos once they were ready. That kind of communication is rare these days, and I really appreciated it. What really got me was that some of my old tapes were damaged and missing the very beginning, and I honestly thought those memories were just lost for good. Somehow, they were able to recover and extract that footage anyway. When I sat down and watched it with my family, I cried. We saw moments we had completely forgotten about, faces and voices that felt like they'd been given back to us. Receiving and viewing the finished videos was so simple, no tech headaches at all. And honestly, no price tag could ever match what it feels like to give your family and friends a piece of their past back. This wasn't just a service, it was a gift. If you have old family videos sitting in a drawer somewhere, do yourself a favor and bring them here. You won't regret it.

I am so happy to be able to review Hollywood Photo Scanning! I've had boxes of family photos for…read moremany years and had always wanted to organize them. My assistant found Hollywood Photo Scanning thanks to Yelp (here's a shout-out to this platform) and after researching other places, said this should be our go-to place. Am I grateful that he led me here! Tony is incredible - patient, organized, and empathetic. It's a lot to go through getting old pictures organized and I figured the cost and enormity of the project would overwhelm me. A phone call or two with Tony where he offered me options and really fair pricing made the process doable and simple. He's been in business for years and his company knows exactly what they're doing. All my pictures were scanned, organized, and cleaned up in the scanning process so they look better than ever. Tony's attention to detail, his concern for the client, and his willingness to help go beyond the call of duty. If every business ran this well, this would be one incredible world. If you have important photos you want organized and saved, this is the place to go. They have services beyond just photo scanning so definitely give them a call and get your job done BEAUTIFULLY!!!

Absolutely incredible service! I highly recommend Hollywood Photo Scanning to anyone with a huge…read morecollection of photos. Before I called these guys, I thought having scanning done was going to be a complex task but they made it so easy. I had everything digitized from my family's old photo collection and also from my wife's family. Some of the prints date back to the 1940s. They did an astonishing job with all of my negatives, slides, and prints. They took the prints out of my old photo albums, scanned and put them back in the exact chronological order they were already in, just as though they had never been touched by anybody. Additionally, they did a great job packaging and condensing my other scanned loose prints and film into separate bags. They individually labeled each archived bag (which they provided for free) by group, indicating which digital folder names the photos were scanned into. When I received all our original photos back, they made it so I was able to put the perfectly organized boxes they provided directly into our garage, repackaged for long-term storage. Since we now have the digital scans of them, which look way better than the originals, there is no reason I can see the need to access any of the original photos or film again. However, I still don't have the heart to throw them out, so I'm glad they were able to really free up some space for me in how they returned everything. The quality of images left my whole family speechless. They images are very sharp and clean. Even displayed on my full screen tv, they look like they were taken on a high quality digital camera, if one existed decades ago. It's amazing how the color corrections (a service I added on) came out so well on my older photos. I'm seeing my childhood (that I thought took place in a red and orange world), in incredible natural but vivid color. I am very grateful for their generous and friendly customer service as well. I haven't encountered this level of customer service anywhere else in as long as I can remember. A big thanks to the whole crew over there for their excellent work digitizing my family's history. I'm so glad I went with them.
