This company, specifically Sean, did an outstanding job converting a VHS tape of old family photos to DVD then adding 300 more pictures set to songs. The entire video exceeded my expectations in quality and design. Super friendly staff, answered questions and did edits in a timely fashion. Worth every penny. My family will love this cherished keepsake. read more

DVD Your Memories did a great job converting our 8mm film, some of which goes back to the 1960s. We went with the premium service for brightness and color correction, and the videos look great. I appreciated that they also put the reels in order and labeled the digital files based on what we had written on the old reels themselves. They also cleaned the original film and put it on larger reels so we can still enjoy them with a projector if we want. Service and communication was top notch, and they finished the conversion on time for us to enjoy the videos at Christmas. I highly recommend their service! read more

I couldn't recommend this place enough. I had recently found an old memory box containing items from a deceased loved one and it had one video cassette thing (it's so old I don't even remember what it's called). I found this place through Yelp and I am so glad I did because watching that video digitally meant the absolute world to me. This place restores memories more than anything else and in my opinion, that's priceless. The gentleman at the front walked me through the entire process and when I received the email that it was finished, he called as well to let me know. I was able to pay over the phone and got my video within minutes. Thank you times a million for doing the work you guys do and giving people precious memories to look back on! read more

The go to place for video/audio conversions. I've had them transfer an old VHS to DVD, and some very old cassettes to a flash drive, both done perfectly. read more

So glad that I trusted them with these beloved, and somewhat decrepit looking tapes! The cost was a bit more than another recommended service which was further however, it was offset by my joy in hearing voices of my 6 and 9 year-old children (now they are 45 and 48 years old) , and our Beloved Grandmother and her Cousin's voices, laughter and stories made the price well worth it . Now I'm going to try and get them transferred onto a cd for my remaining aunts and uncles. Bravo! read more

DVD Your Memories - Orange County - Very very old cassette tapes! - Digitizing Services Near Me - Irvine, California

Very impressed with their professionalism, courtesy, transparency and promptness. Very good communicators also, which is very important to me. I had a total of 35 old tapes (VHS, mini-dv, hi-8 as well as super 8mm from the old days). All came back on my hard drive in excellent shape and individually labeled. Very impressed. Sean and Abe are great people to work with. I highly recommend them. Danny Jackson Santa Ana, CA read more

This was the second time we have used DVD Your Memories. This time was to digitize some video tapes. They did a great job on both occasions. The turn around was as promised and they couldn't have been more pleasant and professional. They even called to let me know that I had a duplicate and to confirm that they would not convert both just to incur the extra charge. Well done. read more

I had some slides my Dad took in the 1960s that I wanted to digitize. They were a weird size and processing method, 120 Ektachrome. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find anyone to handle them. I did a test run of 10 slides as a test. DVD Your Memories handled them like champs. The images are crisp and sharp and colorful. Skintones are natural. I included an example. It only took about a week to get them done. Communication was a little confusing. I got a bill in my email. I wasn't sure if I needed to pay it to get processing started. And, i didn't get an estimated completion date. But, I can't complain about a turnaround time of a week. The staff is really cheerful and upbeat. RECOMMEND read more

I found an old cassette from 40 years ago of a three year old doing nursery rhymes etc. Only about 10 minutes long. I wanted to give it as a gift. I thought I'd transfer it to a flash drive since most people don't have a cassette player. And I asked the tech if they could remove a lot of the white noise and make the volume louder so the quiet areas could be heard. He said no problem. I'm disappointed that it pretty much sounds the same. There's still the noise of the cassette but, more importantly, when I turn the volume all the way up, I still can barely hear the soft talking. I would understand if he said the improvements couldn't be made or "we'll try" - but he led me to believe "no problem". I guess watching him write the instructions on a sticky note should have been my first clue.... Disappointing. read more

Great job converting VHS tapes to digital files as a Christmas present for my parents. Will definitely be back with more memories.

This review is WAY overdue. I had some photos transferred here a few years ago and I'm so glad I did because it was the best, easiest way to preserve old family photos that I only had via hard copy and old videos that I had on VHS and even some weird tape medium that I had no idea what it was. The had a solve for everything. Now if only I could get my act together for the rest of the photos from my childhood, I'd be golden. read more
