Hello, I hope you're doing well. I know Diana is dearly missed, and I hope it's okay to ask. I believe I gave her an 8mm tape around 2010. Do you know if any of her tapes or DVDs were kept, or who I might contact? It would mean a lot to recover the original or a DVD copy if she transferred it. Thank you for any help. read more

I got a few quotes from Yelp before diving into a project to have old photographs scanned in from my late aunt's estate. Dianna was very responsive and quoted me a fast turn around (1 day) and a low price (about $70 for 300 or so pictures). I needed the photos quickly before the memorial service was scheduled, so I hired Dianna but kept my expectations low considering the turn around and the price, but I was blown away by the quality of the scans and the organization into folders that corresponded with my envelopes. Her equipment and skill did a far better job that the few I attempted on my home scanner. Dianna continued to be responsive and was very easy to work with. I highly recommend using her services and am considering for my own photos from the pre-digital days. read more

Dianna was great! I had a giant bin full of photo albums from my father-in-laws home that we had recently sold. I started to take photos out of an album with the intent to scan them and it took me forever just to get thru 1 album so I started searching on Yelp for some help and found Dianna. She was so accommodating to what I needed - I needed someone to take the photos out, scan them in some organized way, and scan pages of photo albums where the pictures were "glued on" bc the albums were just too old. She did all of that and so quickly! 2200 pictures and 400 pages later... I have it all in a USB now. I wasn't in a rush but Dianna turned it around within a few days. I'll be honest that the total price was more than I had imagined but also I didn't realize it was 2200 pictures and 400 photo album pages that needed to be scanned. It was hard to tell how much 50 albums would translate into, but I know how many hours of work it was that she did (since I tried to get thru 1 album myself) so it was well worth it to have someone do it all for me! It would've taken me years to get thru myself! Dianna even cropped the pages she had to scan and "cleaned up" the images. A bonus! She did a great job and was super easy to work with. Thank you, Dianna! read more

Thank you "beyond measure" Dianne for your excellent and professional handling of our years of home movies transfer (VHS to DVD). Having worked myself in video production for a cable network, it was easy to see that you are very talented and experienced at the various digital services that you can offer so that people can have their memories in a format that they can actually use, and share with other family members. Your customer service and quick turnaround time is a miracle! I had taken my VHS tape to the local large chain drugstore in Laguna Woods where it sat for 2 weeks, lost, and then when located and the outsourcing company was notified, I was told that the outsourcing video company could NOT guarantee that the VHS tape would be back to me in DVD format in time for a funeral celebration for my mother that was TWO MONTHS down the road. That was when we went back to the drugstore chain and picked up our delayed VHS tape STILL sitting there. Thanks to You and Yelp, within a day I had my 3 hour long DVDs with 4 copies. And in plenty of time for the end of May Celebration. I have already given your name to 3 people who are thrilled to get your contact information. Appreciate your making this so easy - and the result is Joyful ! read more

My family had a whole mess of old 8mm films lying around the house and desperately wanted them moved over to DVD so that they'd be safe and so we could view them conveniently. We found Best DVD Solutions on the internet, gave them a call and got everything transferred over. From start to finish Best DVD Solutions blew us away with their awesome services, prices, and personal touch. Dianna was one of the friendliest people we've ever done business with and the love and care she applied to our movies shows in the finished product. Best DVD Solutions has helped us preserve our family memories and we can't thank them enough! Thank you Dianna! read more

This review is way overdue, but my company was in a pinch and needed the contents of a VHS tape transferred to a CD asap. We called several other locations before finding Dianna on Yelp!. She was the closest to our office and able to take care of our needs at half the cost and in less time than what everyone else was quoting. She was fast and very professional. Dianna is awesome! We will definitely use her services again! In fact, I can't wait to have my wedding video transferred to DVD! Thanks for a great job and for helping us in a bind! Friendly service, fast turnaround, quality product. I dropped off two old video tapes from my wedding 10 years ago. It was a little strange going to a residential neighborhood for a commercial service, but who cares if the service and product are good. The tapes were put onto DVD and were ready for pickup a day later. The transfer quality was excelent. The picture and sound were both very clear. And, it's cheaper and faster than the big wharehouse store I've dropped tapes off at before. It was nice that she put the DVD on and let me watch some of it before leaving, to make sure everything was good. read more

I found Dianna on Yelp and am SO glad I did! I had over 500 slides I needed scanned (some dating back over 40 years) and didn't want to break the bank doing so. Dianna had the best prices around and with her Yelp deal, I kind of feel like I robbed her. Dianna turned the project around exceptionally fast and did a great job. She sorted all of my slides into different folders and color corrected the ones that had become discolored. All of the slides were scanned at a quality that will allow me to print them as 8x10 photos and I am so excited to be able to show off these pictures around the holidays - many haven't been seen in decades. Dianna was also very flexible with my schedule - allowing me to drop off and pick up on the weekends so I could avoid traffic. She was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her business! read more

Dianna was so great to work with! She took what I had and put it into a digital file so that I could save it forever. My wedding video was not in great quality we get a chance to look at what it look like on the screen so I know how was going to look and she put it on a thumb drive for me it was exactly what I wanted and she was faster than I ever even expected! I look forward to saving some of my memories in a digital format! read more

This service stands behind their work! I had used their service five years ago to convert some slides I had from Vietnam into a DVD. Recently I was asked to talk to a high school class and wanted to use my pictures but when I pulled out my DVD I found that it had been damaged by some type of deterioration and couldn't be used. So I called Dianna and asked for her help which she gave without hesitation. She ended up replacing my DVD plus put my pictures on a flash drive which was not part of my original order back in 2012. I repeatedly offered to pay her for this service, but she would not accept any payment. This lady is aces and I would recommend using her services any day of the week!! read more

Dianna truly went above and beyond for us. Our family videos from over 10 years ago were recorded on a Sony cam quarter that was only made for two years and then discontinued. We no longer had the power cord for the cam quarter and the software was no longer available. We were worried that our kids childhood videos would be lost forever. Dianna spent hours figuring out a solution and was successfully able to convert all of them, and without charging us anything extra. The results were fantastic. We are thrilled that we found Dianna and would recommend her to anyone. read more

I have had three different video cameras over the last 20 years or so and have been copying and editing videos for my friends and family and posting them to YouTube for much of that time. So I have some background in the technologies and techniques that are used by Dianna at Best DVD Solutions. Most recently I needed to convert some old Video 8 tapes and three 8mm films to computer friendly digital format and it was a no brainer to select Dianna for the job. Just read a few Yelp testimonials and you will see why. And those testimonials are true. Here is my dot list of why Dianna at Best DV Solutions is your best choice if you need your old media converted to a modern format: 1. She is a real pro. Make that a Real Pro. She has the equipment and the know-how to save your old media that's been lying in a box in your garage for years, untouched and, in some cases, never looked at. And she has the know-how to squeeze the best quality out of material that, in many cases, will have deteriorated over the years. 2. She is fast. In my case she finished in a few days for just under 30 tapes. 3. She has the best prices in town. A key reason why is that she charges for tape transfers by the hour. So short tapes with only 10 minutes of video on them are very, very inexpensive. And even the long ones turn out to be competitively priced. 4. She will handle your media with care. So you can give her your valuable tapes and film and slides from decades ago with the full confidence that they will be converted to a computer friendly format with the best possible quality. 5. When the job is finished you will be able to congratulate yourself for having brilliant judgment: You picked Dianna to do your conversions and the results were great. Your family will be impressed. Your friends will be impressed. You will be a hero. read more

Diana was very helpful, and could not have been nicer or more helpful. She helped organize the old films I had. into chronological order, and then did a beautiful job of transferring all of them to DVD. I had some 8 mm super eight and old 16mm and she was able to work with everything competently. These were old films that were very precious to me, a few of them 75 to 80 years old, of parents and family that have long since passed away. So the trust factor needed to be there in order to leave these with someone. I did not want to ship them away and risk losing them. Very grateful for Diane is excellent work, and enjoying looking at the past and all the good memories. Thank you Diana read more

Wow. This lady deserves 5 stars for sure! She did an amazing job with my home VHS tapes. They came out clearer than I would have thought they could. I figured it would be a week before she would be done with all of them, but called back the very next day to tell me they were done! On top of that, the DVDs had cute pictures on them and everything was labeled perfectly. My Mother's Day gift couldn't have been better! I've recommended her to all my friends and would to you too! read more

Dianna is so friendly and professional. She had 7 tapes done in just 2 days and when I went to go pick them up, she had even included a beautiful "thank you" card with a personal message written included in my bag of DVDs. Not to mention that her prices are a lot cheaper than other places, albeit in LA, that I called. She works out of her home though, and uses her dog to "sniff out" bad guys so don't be alarmed if she has you put your hands up and have her dog sniff you out before you come into her home. It's a saftey precaution and I totally sympethize with her. read more

I discovered Diana and Best DVD Solutions thru Yelp. With a solid 5 star review rating, and current reviews, I decided to call and see if Best DVD Solutions was a company I wanted to work with. Diana is very nice and professional. She works from her home and truly adds a personal touch. I had 17 VHS tapes of family videos that I needed updated to the current DVD technology for keep sake. She quoted me a reasonable price and we moved forward. Quite honestly, I was concerned more about the security of these video tapes than the ultimate price. I was unwilling to ship them to some internet company that might ruin them, lose them, or get lost in the mail. The ability to drop the VHS tapes off, and within a couple of days, pick up the new DVDs was very comforting. I have no problem recommending Dianna and Best DVD Solutions to family and friends. Needed some 8mm converted to DVD format. Old home films that were owned by my grandmother, precious memories that she wouldn't be able to see ever again if we didn't take them to Best DVD Solutions. I wanted to be able to hand out several DVDs to all family members in time for Thanksgiving of 2011. I took the films to Diana and she had them done in a week! Films color were restored, titles were made, packaged nicely, and I was even given the original copy so that I could go back and edit the videos myself anytime I want to from my own computer. Everyone of my family members had a blast watching the film and it's something of a gift that keeps on giving because these will now be able to be passed down for generations to come. I have no idea the regular price for something like this is but I feel I got a steal of a deal for what I got and when I tell most people the price they say "That's all it costs?". I was very pleased with Best DVD Solutions/Diana. I hope to be back with VHS and some 8mm films of my own to be converted. Highly Recommended! read more

Best DVD Solutions is AWESOME! I brought Dianna a VHS tape that was originally made with 8mm film. I called Dianna at Best DVD Solutions and asked if the tape could be converted to a DVD within the week. I also asked if music could be added to the DVD as well. She finished creating the DVD before the specified time frame which was great. When I watched the DVD, I was so happy because Dianna did such an incredible job. Her talent matching the music to each of the scenes was awesome. Originally, the VHS tape had no sound at all. With Dianna's expertise in music selection and matching the music to each scene, it was like poetry in motion. She has a gift for this and I would HIGHLY recommend Best DVD Solutions! She knows what she's doing! I literally had goosebumps on my arms watching the DVD she created. This is a wonderful gift for the holiday's coming up. So if you can't think of what to buy someone for Christmas, this is the perfect gift among all of the other services Best DVD Solutions provide. Don't run the risk of letting your old VHS tapes and memories get ruined when you can have Dianna at Best DVD Solutions create new treasured memories! You will NOT be disappointed! I will be going back to have some wedding tapes converted and I can't wait to see the results! Best DVD Solutions has the right name because they are definitely the "BEST". Thanks again Dianna!
