We needed emergency access to a relative's condo for a wellness check. After contacting OCSD, we called The Key Locksmith to meet us. Even though it was after 10pm on a Thursday night, John, the locksmith cheerfully met us and got access quickly. Our relative was safe, praise God! We had John re-key all the exterior locks while he was there. He was fast and skilled, explaining options and what he was doing. The price was very fair, especially considering it was an emergency service call. I highly recommend this company for lock and key needs!! read more

Good service good prices I would use them again. They had good communication with me.

I called several locksmiths near San Clemente to get quotes for re-keying sevaral doors. John answered and not only had the best price but was friendly and able to schedule my appointment on that call. He was great with communication, changed the locks but also fixed one of my doors that was sticking. Overall great pricing, a friendly and excellent experience. I can't recommend them enough! A while back, I was locked out of my home and had to drill into the lock, so it was broken and needed to be replaced. John really went above and beyond. He was able to replace the lock and match it to the same keys I already have as well as matching the color. I also explained to him that I had to slam the door in order for it to catch. He also adjusted that for me and made sure everything was working perfectly. For all of the work, the price was very fair. He is also very friendly and easy to work with. read more

I called them late at night and was told that they wouldn't be able to help me create a new key for my motorcycle, yet, despite knowing that he wouldn't get a dollar from me, he helped me find a locksmith that was able to help me. I called The Key Locksmith and spoke to John regarding rekeying my front door and a garage door. My neighbor had lost my spare key and I was concerned about my safety. John came the same day and did an excellent job. He was very clean and neat and knew exactly what he was doing. He was able to cut new keys with the equipment he had in his truck. He also gave me a choice of a regular key or a larger one. I chose the larger key since it was for my house. I'm very happy, and I recommend The Key Locksmith to my friends. read more
