The videos look amazing, and my wife and I have been watching them nonstop for the past few days. You can provide your own HDD or SSD for the file transfers, or he can provide them for you. I tossed all the videos into a Plex server and stream them to my 75 inch 4K TV and they all look fantastic. Audio completely flawless and in sync too. Many of them were upscaled to 1080p and both picture and audio are great. If you're into audio/video stuff you'll have some great conversations with him. If not, don't sweat it and he'll take care of everything... you don't have to worry about a thing. Mike is super nice dude, does a great job, and his pricing is fair too. I will absolutely go back if I can dig up more old tapes that need digitizing. I originally reached out via YELP and he responded within 24 hours with upfront pricing, and exactly what I needed to bring if I wanted a USB conversion. He told me he would have the job done within a week, and he delivered in less than a week. I suggest you either call or message them with what you need, and they will tell you upfront if they can or cannot do it and how much it would cost etc.

Last winter, we were told they were waiting for parts from Japan. This spring, we were provided with a tracking number that never showed a shipment of our cameras. Later, we were told that the best way to reach them was through their online portal. Since then, they have stopped responding despite our repeated attempts to contact them. If you've had a similar experience--such as extended lack of communication, not receiving your camera back, or not receiving the products or services you paid for--please consider filing a consumer complaint with the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General: https://oag.ca.gov/contact/consumer-complaint-against-business-or-company Filing a complaint is free. While it may not resolve an individual case on its own, multiple complaints can help the Attorney General identify patterns that may warrant further review. This has been especially heartbreaking for me because one of the cameras belongs to my late grandfather. I trusted Relics Film Lab with something that has tremendous sentimental value. At this point, I simply want my camera returned and my money refunded. If you've had a similar experience, I encourage you to file a complaint and share your experience.
