I ordered a camera on August 27 and was told repeatedly that it was "on its way" for over a month. Whenever I asked for clarification through email, my questions went unanswered or were met with vague, unhelpful replies. Out of frustration I tried contacting them on Instagram, but their responses there were minimal at best and provided no real information. By October 2, the item still had not been shipped. I was told I would receive a refund, but I have yet to receive my money. Instead of addressing the issue, the seller chose to block me on social media!!!! This entire experience has been unprofessional, frustrating, and dishonest. A trustworthy business does not ignore customers, provide vague excuses for weeks, withhold refunds, and then cut off communication entirely. I would strongly advise anyone considering this seller to look elsewhere!!!!

Came in here to develop film for some disposable cameras! Unfortunately it was $18 per camera - which is extremely expensive and kind of cancels out a lot of "fun" for these types of things. Especially because I only ordered digital - the prints were even MORE! But the attendant was nice and made the process easy!

In the market for a film camera and came across Relics. A lot of cool stuff here and Drake is super knowledgeable. I told him what I was kinda looking for and he took the time to chat about different cameras and recommendations on some films and I truly appreciate the recommendations. I purchased an Olympus Stylus and love it. Been coming here to get my films scanned and developed which is cool that they offer those services as well. I'd definitely recommend checking them out!

(Posted December 17, not December 18 as indicated) What a surprise that a photo lab has opened next to Black Dog Cafe on Third Street and Alamitos. It seems quite charming and sells many accessories for the not-on-the-phone camera. It's a very different thing from the often gruff labs into which professionals ran their rolls expecting rush, rush, rush turnover then sped to a client on a bike messenger. This is a boutique lab and shop for the camera and camera publications etc. But wait a minute, in the few moments that we were exploring, people were coming in to get their film processed. I'm not sure if this is yet another trend which has come about or the industry is making a comeback. Relics definitely deserves a visit, who knows what will develop.

My order was never delivered. We reached out to the owner and he claimed he'll send it out but never did. It's been nearly two months.

They have a ton of camera products you could buy such as lens, camera bags, at home developing solutions, tripods, and so much more! All of the workers are knowledgeable in cameras and they have been able to help me recently with a point and shoot 35mm film camera that wouldn't rewind and they helped me save my film and I was able to get it processed and the pictures came back amazing! The worker also told me about new cameras that they were going to get in stock. He let me try out some of the cameras in case I was curious about buying. It's always a friendly environment when I walk in. The Cameras are reasonably priced. The film developing is also a fair price. I know that there are other places that are a bit cheaper, but because of the location I choose to come here and I've always enjoy the experience. For film development specifically: I have bought both black and white and color film. They have a wall full of film variety you can choose from such as the classics Kodak, Cinestill, ilford and a load of experimental film. The price for developing only is $8.25. Color film is a bit cheaper than black and white if you plan on printing your pictures, printed color film is $.49 per picture and black and white is $.89.

It said standard is 4.5MB which is good for social media and is also close in size to what I usually get when going to a different place. When I got the scans back, they were so blurry when I zoomed in. It was misleading because the size of the downloads were 1MB or less. I'm not using these photos and ended up getting them rescanned elsewhere and having to pay more. I'm not sure if this was a mistake or if this has happened to anyone else.

Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look
