10 months later and I wanted to give this store a shot after my less than thrilling phone call I had with them months ago. I can happily say this is my first and last time shopping here. It was such a pain to checkout for a simple flash accessory today. The associate was adamant about entering my information into their system to "track" Purchases or whatever nonsense he was trying to spew. I asked if a paper receipt had any merit if it comes to exchanges or issues with the product, and he said it would "be harder to find in the system." Uh what? I bought a camera here and i wish i didnt. I came in after my camera kept freezing. The 1st time a guy told me to bring the whole camera in so they can replace it. The 2nd time i brought the whole camera box, and the guy (who sold me the camera) said they can't replace it if nothing is wrong with it since it didnt freeze when HE handled it. The guy kept gaslighting me when i told him it's probably the lens or SD card and he said it wasnt and that there's nothing wrong with it. 3rd time i brought it in when the screen was frozen right after i had used it so that i had evidence and they STILL would not replace it. The salesman who helped me kept making dry jokes around about it being frozen. It was not funny, Frank. I paid for this camera. Next thing you know his coworker told me that it may be because of the SD card. I had to take it back home. Now, i don't want the camera anymore because of the amount of times it freezes and a hassle it is for me to get proper customer service. However, i looked at my receipt and realized that they stalled and now it's past the return window so im stuck with a camera i don't want anymore all because they wouldn't replace it even though it was under the 30 days AND it is insured. What the hell. Awful experience. At least BEST BUY makes it easier for the customer AND doesn't take a 15% fee restock fee. The salesman told me that best buy does the same thing and takes a restock fee. They don't. I was lied to and gaslighted. Either verify your facts or don't say anything to the customer at all. I hate shady business. I wish i bought my camera elsewhere. This is my first AND last time shopping here and i'm never recommending this place to anyone. read more

This place has become a complete joke. I've been going here for nearly 30 years , mostly because it's the only camera store still standing. I can't tell you how much business I've given them over the years, but i can tell you I've had enough. The staff is mostly incompetent , they will lie to you, or worse take your money for something they never fall through on and deliver. Most the salesmen come off like slimy used car salesmen. So currently I brought an item to Justin who does repairs (lol) ... after visiting the store multiple times and they couldn't find out where the part was they ordered me, and after the 3rd time I came in , it was the wrong part. They didn't issue a refund , said they would re order and asked me to leave my equipment with them., (no chance your store is in shambles) well it's been over a month and no call .... when I call in they answer the phone and say hold on, then leave me on hold and don't ever pick up. Came on a Thursday afternoon -- not too crowded at all. There appears to be experts stationed every few feet under different major brands. The store is very clean and well organized. Came in here looking for a couple of miscellaneous items. Preston helped me out and was absolutely amazing. Super kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Really helpful staff. Patient and informative. They have a wide selection of new/used cameras and lens. Their prices are pretty standard, but the good thing is you can test out cameras in-store vs buying online. The only disappointment I had was the employee offering me free stuff to make the camera seem like a very good deal. I realized later on that the free stuff already came with the camera if you checked their online store. They didn't even offer me the free stuff to begin with. Only after I was a little hesistant to buy the camera, then they offered me 1-2 small accessories. So essentially, if I just bought it right away, I would've been scammed 1-2 free accessories that was supposed to be part of the original deal. Besides that little hustle, I thouht the store was okay. I returned a lens and got a different one. No complications there. Still a camera store I would go to next time but check their online store first to make sure I'm not getting skimmed off any free items that was supposed to be included with the camera/lens I would buy in the future. read more

Sales people are very attentive as long as you are spending money. They promise after sales help with the purchases after the sale. So after buying a Sony 7R4A, 28-70 2.8 lens, Godex flash and a Sony 400-800mm all with extended warranties. I went in to ask about the picture quality I'm getting out of the 400-800mm lens at the 700-800mm range. The store sales manager just walked away to another consumer.
