Natalie is so nice. I placed the order at 10am and called to confirm it would be sane day. She informed me it would take a couple hours but definitely same day. The building is easy to find and plenty of parking. Natalie was there at the front desk. She gave me my order and I headed out. My daughter's managers and agent as well as the family LOVEDD them. I've been going to the local darkroom, so I needed B&W 35mm negatives to be developed. As for film development, Fullerton Photographics is an amazing resource. I dropped them off, paid around $15, and got them returned within a week -what a great turnaround time! Plus the negatives came in perfectly. We love this place! The quality of the pictures is so much better than anywhere else that makes prints. The girl who usually helps my son is Natalie. Very nice and very patient. We also like that you can pick the size of your print from a variety of choices. I had had them put my 1994 wedding VHS onto a CD several years back and they did an outstanding job on that too. Literally no customer service. I walked in to pick up my prints and the old lady at the counter literally just gave me my prints and said goodbye and disappeared. I had bunch of questions regarding other methods of prints, sizes and materials but didn't even get a chance to ask any of those. I don't know if that old lady was the owner of the business but if you are, you might be doing well with print quality but not with people communication quality. Don't just throw your customers' prints to your customers and walk away since they already paid but ask if there's anything else you can do for them. It's the people that matter at the end of the day not the couple of bucks you make from prints. I thought this place was a place of brining cherished memories to life but more like creating new bad memories with the local business. read more

This was our first time using this type of service. We wanted a visual memorial for my husband's celebration of life in September. We wanted a slide show set to music, to be played on our large screen TV- looping all day, at our gathering. Natalie was the on-site artist who helped and guided us through the entire procedure. She was so low-key and pleasant and had a way of making us feel that our goal was very important to her. We brought in a CD of our music and pictures of my husband's life at all ages. Natalie so artfully combined the two elements- fading in and out and other special effects. We discussed the timing between images and the length of the complete DVD. It was perfect. It could not have been easier. What I thought would be casually viewed during the day, at one point drew the whole crowd in to watch the whole presentation. Everyone loved it! I was in the area an needed a passport photo. They helped me fast but it was kinda pricey. The lady looked at me funny when I asked her to see it because she just took the photo with out saying anything, I know me I'll probably be doing something dumb on accident an sure enough she caught a picture of resting, waiting face, not paying attention face. which when I'm typing it out it sounds dumb. But that's why they got two starts down 1 for being expensive and 2 for not telling me to look at the birdy. She was nice enough for taking another so I was actually in position posing. Again I understand how dumb it is but I got bad dmv pics.I can look cute on FB and IRL but not to the official people who would Grant me to come home from abroad. #notdealingwiththat All and all I got the photo and my passport with that photo and I have to say it did the job. read more

I was excited to have a photograph put on a coffee mug as a gift. I purchased two of them with two different images but both mugs came out blurry and one even had a strange cube design superimposed, which separated the image so the main point of interest of the photograph was lost. Both of these high-priced items were to be gifts for the holiday. The owner would do nothing to reconcile the problem or even admit that it was a poor job. She was so rude and unhelpful that I made a decision to never go back to the store. It was an unfortunate way to treat a (up until that day) loyal customer. I didn't do a yelp report at the time but I still feel unfairly treated and dismissed by one of the owners who had every opportunity to do the right thing. read more

This is a review for their 35 mm film processing and scanning. Negatives came back after shipping it off to a third party (No complaints, everything turned out perfect). The issue is with their film scanning service...First time they scanned my negatives, half my images had frame lines from my film roll and cut off or cut into two image files. Not okay. Contacted them to see how we could remedy this and said they would fix it. They re-scanned my negatives and most of my images turned out fine until I saw that some images were cropped and one image was zoomed in so far, it was only 1/3 of my original image. Definitely not okay. Is it that difficult to scan my negatives the way they were meant to be? I gave them a second chance and they completely dropped the ball. I paid $18 for them to process and scan ONE canister of 24 exposure film. If you charge a premium price, the bare minimum I can expect is no mistakes. One star because the staff were polite. Another star for the third party not messing up my negatives. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. read more

This review is not about the quality of their work, but rather the quality of their customer service, and their greed. Instead of stopping in Kinkos, i saw this business first, and decided to stop in, and ask them to print a 1 page document i needed for a meeting. All they had to do, is plug in a jump drive, and hit print. i would say, a 2 minute - 5minute process at most. The owner, some old white lady, stated they don't do this, so of course i offered a convenience fee / tip. $10. she said she would do it for $20. $20 Freakin dollars for 2 minutes of work? Literally, just need to plug in the jump drive, and hit print, black and white, for 1 page. She offered $15. I told them, just plug in the drive, and hit print, from your inkjet, laser, or photo printer. Im sure those computers aren't hooked up to photo machines only. She stayed firm. I went to Kinkos, and printed it for 22 cents. 2 miles away. I was willing to pay $10 for 2minutes of work (at most). she wanted $15. so your telling me to click a mouse button and hit print for 1 page, you can't do it for $10? This is why the United States loses all its business to China. Because Americans won't hustle unless it pays more than the market will bear. My conclusion, if they won't even print something for me that cost 22 cents to print, are they overcharging you people on your photos? Because apparently $5 per minute / $300 per hour rate wasn't enough for her to stop and print my 1 page. read more

I emailed FP a long time ago asking if they processed medium format. I received a really nice email back from the owner, Gaby. It's taken months for me to actually bring them my rolls, but my experience has been great. 1. Dropping off film: easy and quick. The woman who helped me was friendly, nice and explained that since I was shooting slide film, it'd take a few days longer. 2. When my negatives were ready, I received a call and voicemail from FP telling me they were done and I could pick them up during their business hours. The girl also mentioned that they looked great. 3. Picked up my negs today, super nice girl was working there. I was really pleased with their professionalism and laid back friendliness. 4. Prices are fair, and they offer so many services. I'm definitely bringing them more business when I can. read more

I was actually going to visit Gaby at Fullerton Photographics, Inc, on a business call, and I have never had the pleasure of seeing her store before! As I walked in, I was greeted by a Allie, who was very hospitable and I found I was almost transported into what I would imagine is what Gaby's home might look like. It is decorated with such special and personal touches. You feel, not like you walked into a pro photography store, but into a friend's home! She even has an inviting patio to relax. Speaking of relaxing, they have a special "click cafe" where you can bring in your memory cards, and print out your digital images right there, oh, while you are getting a foot massage!! She actually has foot massagers under each station, see what I mean about special touch!!! Great price too! We had a mini-snafoo in the middle but it was handled so professionally. Gaby, the owner, went out of her way. She emailed me, called and had a chat where we talked things out, and in the end she went over and beyond, gave me more than I had bargained for and also fast turn around. I recently ran across a couple old rolls of medium format film that I had stashed away years ago and since I work at Fullerton College, decided to try Fullerton Photographics - again. The last time I was in was 15 years ago when I was collecting and shooting with antique and toy cameras. Sometimes only by processing the film was I able to discover where the signature light leaks were coming from and be able to manipulate the cameras accordingly. At that time, I was so discouraged by the abrupt and often rude staff that I encountered there and made to feel that my "experimental" prints were not worth their time. I wasn't making art, but I was working on a hobby close to my heart and was willing to pay for my prints. Many college students had recommended their help, but after a few trips and the resulting criticism, I never returned. So, I was a bit unsettled about taking my newly found film back to this store 15 years later, but figured I was older, wiser, and now more able to handle the rebuff I might encounter. What a surprise it was to walk in, be warmly greeted by several smiles, and helpful suggestions! It was clear that ownership has changed and am so happy that now I work close I will be able to take my film projects to a place conveniently close by, pay reasonable prices, and interact with staff who are not only knowledgeable, but who know how to ensure repeat business. I am more than thrilled that I decided to try Fullerton Photographics again. I will definitely be back. read more

I love this place. I had two photos of my grandparents blown up. I love that I was able to submit the photos online and pay in store. The photos came out amazing! No quality was lost.
