I have been coming here to get my pictures developed for a year now. Setrak is always so nice and always answers random photography questions - from how to use my camera (even if I purchased it somewhere else) to what equipment is best for my needs. The scans come out great and always timely. We request Dropbox links and negatives and we get our links on or before the quoted time. He also has a great array of point and shoots, SLRs, lenses, film stock, cases, and lately, I've seen a few older digital cameras. I appreciate all the passion and knowledge Setrak shares when we walk in and will continue to trust and use the services provided here.

THIS IS NOT THEIR PRICING. BEWARE.

I went here because I wanted to support a small business instead of getting my photos printed by Costco. I went on their website and the prices were slightly higher (so I thought). I called them to see what their process was and went ahead and sent over 13 pictures for print. When I picked them up I was baffled to hear my total being $210.20 He told me the prices I saw were for photographers....hmm you should definitely have that on your pricing page. He ended up giving me a discount but I still spent way too much money on printed photos. He said it's the best print I'll ever have...which is honestly laughable, especially when I took them home and they hardly fit into my matted frames. Please, listen to these reviews - do not support this business. I learned the hard way. Never going to support these people again. Crooked business.

Ordered scans for two rolls of film on a Monday and was told I'd receive them back on Wednesday or Thursday. An hour before closing on Thursday I called and was told that I'd receive them the next day. I was told this again Friday and again Saturday until I received them the next Monday night. A week turnaround is totally understandable. But telling me I'll get them the next day for like 4 days in a row is a little frustrating. Scans were great though!

This is one of the only places around to develop black and white. A little pricey but there's not many options. Good quality scans

Michael's store is a go to place for both personal projects or school assignments, and it's been a…read morereliable place overall. Since Party City closed, the local Michael's is marketing heavily on party balloons. The Michael's have a wide variety of art, craft, yarn and part supplies, which makes it easy to find what I need in one trip. The store is usually organized, and items are mostly on in stock. I like coming here for holidays decoration, as well. The staff is generally nice when I've asked questions, especially when looking for specific materials. Prices can be a little high at times, but the coupons and sales make a big difference. Recently, the store offers self checkout which is nice when you're coming in for a couple items. Overall, Michaels is a convenient and dependable for simple decorations on holidays to bring cheers to the office or classroom settings.

I recently purchased several paint by number sets for my kids. When they began painting one of the…read moresets, it was discovered that roughly half of the paint colors were completely dried solid. I went to the store to return it and was told by the manager that the item was "on clearance" and could not be returned. I explained that the item was defective and, under California law, must therefore be returnable. She was unmoved by this, so I simply gave up. I have to wonder whether the manager is ok with the idea that the store gets my money and I get nothing of value. Does this really sound like a sensible store policy? It kind of sounds like stealing to me.

It's just awesome best service great for a field trip so many options to choose fromread more

I love Color Me Mine, and this location is one of my favorites to go to! It does get really busy,…read moreso a reservation (or at least calling ahead to see if they can hold seats on the day of) is pretty much a must. The Brea location has more seating than other locations I've been to, which makes it a bit more forgiving if you try to do a walk-in. Reservations are made online and cost $5/person, which goes towards your total. From a large palette, you choose five colors. Sometimes if a friend and I want to use the same color, we'll just put it on one person's plate, which ends up giving us more color options overall! There's also a guide on each table with tips for different ceramic painting techniques. There's a cup of various styles and sizes of paintbrushes, and you can also request for a thin bottle for writing or detail-work. You get two hours to paint, but I've never felt rushed with either picking my piece or during the actual painting process. The staff here are always so attentive, courteous, and helpful, which makes the whole experience even better. I've noticed that when it gets super busy and you need a paint refill and someone hasn't come by, don't be afraid to raise your hand or walk over to someone, everyone is super friendly. They have a great selection of pottery, and you just pay the price of your piece plus the flat studio fee. The space is clean, and I love that they also offer outdoor seating. Since it's right in the middle of downtown Brea, it's fun to people watch and enjoy the vibe outside on a warm day. They'll occasionally have special events or deals too, like student nights with a discounted studio fee. With its central location in downtown Brea, it's such a perfect spot to catch up with friends, celebrate a birthday, or have a cute date!

More Than Just A Frame…read more Went to Hobby Lobby looking for a picture frame for a short poem that means a great deal to me. I quickly became puzzled over the frame color, size, and whether to use a mat or not. Thankfully, Kim came to the rescue. She was patient, thoughtful, and walked through several options with me without ever making me feel rushed. With her wonderful eye and expertise, we found a frame that fit perfectly, and adding the mat made the poem look so dimensional and lovely. It truly brought the piece to life. I also didn't realize they do custom framing, and that really fills a gap left when our local art store was lost during Covid. It is comforting to know there is still a place where people genuinely care about helping you create something meaningful and beautiful. Thank you, Kim, for making what felt overwhelming into such a warm and lovely experience.

It's a pretty big and spacious Hobby Lobby…read more I don't usually go to Hobby Lobby as it's more convenient for me to locate a Michael's closer to me, but it's always nice to stop by when I get the chance too since there's always a mish mash of neat things that they have, either for cosplay, gifts for others, arts and crafts, etc. We're still 10+ days until Valentine's Day, but they were already clearing a good chunk of that out and all of the Easter stuff has been moved in. It's the same as any other arts and crafts store, you gotta be at LEAST 2 months early to get the best pick of the batch. Though on the other hand, you can get the super clearance items later on in the holiday season. I liked that there's lots of cute prints for their fabrics and different textures, seeing that most Walmarts don't have this anymore and Joann's is completely decimated. I think my main issues are all of the AI SLOP art that's being sold to those who cannot tell the difference and the fact that there was shoplifting randomly during our visit. Sucks, but yeah, it's mostly the AI slop that sickens me. I couldn't find anything that I needed during my visit, but my friend got some cupcake liners since the ones she ordered online were mini even though the website said nothing about the sizing, so she assumed they were regular sized. They, of course, had no Valentine's Day ones leftover, so she found cute bow ones. For on sale and clearance items, it works!
