This is my favorite camera shop. I come here often so that I can develop my 35mm film and buy some new film as well. They have a ton of camera products you could buy such as lens, camera bags, at home developing solutions, tripods, and so much more! All of the workers are knowledgeable in cameras and they have been able to help me recently with a point and shoot 35mm film camera that wouldn't rewind and they helped me save my film and I was able to get it processed and the pictures came back amazing! The worker also told me about new cameras that they were going to get in stock. He let me try out some of the cameras in case I was curious about buying. It's always a friendly environment when I walk in. The Cameras are reasonably priced. The film developing is also a fair price. I know that there are other places that are a bit cheaper, but because of the location I choose to come here and I've always enjoy the experience. For film development specifically: I have bought both black and white and color film. They have a wall full of film variety you can choose from such as the classics Kodak, Cinestill, ilford and a load of experimental film. The price for developing only is $8.25. Color film is a bit cheaper than black and white if you plan on printing your pictures, printed color film is $.49 per picture and black and white is $.89.

I tripped and fell and the lens on my Sony Cypershot was crack and would not take pictures. I took it to Tuttle and they fixed it. It took time because they had to send it out to the company. I would take it there and have them look at it.

Are you able to repair a Polaroid SX-70?

We can but sometimes it might not be cost effective. We would do an estimate on it first.

My canon t5i has an Error30. I have tried turning on and off and removal of the battery. No luck. How much would it cost to get it fixed?

There is no way to be able to tell exactly what the cost would be with out a technician looking at it. We can have the technicians take a look and get an estimate for the repairs. Right now estimates are taking about two weeks. I would expect the… Read more

I was helped by Andres and this man deserves a big raise or a promotion to store manager. He was all you can ask from someone working in retail. I've been to other T-Mobile stores and had horrible experiences but I'm glad they got a great guy working at this one store. Store Owners or Management. You really need to promote this man.

So have been monitoring current deals, and have come into this store multiple times to 'window' shop and get clarifications. Thus when I saw a new deal pop up over the weekend, came back to this store to see if worth purchasing. It was. The switch is not complete yet, but the customer interaction at this store so far has been outstanding. Like many folks, my wife and I have been mobile customers across all the major carriers (including Sprint, which no longer exists), currently getting service through our Internet provider, Spectrum. Everyone provides unlimited national data now, so price continues to be the main driver for us. Both our I-phones (smallest physical footprint available) are (slowly) dying, victim of new OS's that require faster processors/memory and faster-draining/slower-recharging old batteries. But I like the form size of it, and it would still be useful as an occasional wi-fi device (or sell it to a company like Gazelle for over $100), so didn't want to use a deal that required a trade-in. So with the release of the I-phone 17e by Apple earlier this month ('budget' model, retailing for $599 for the 256GB version), T-Mobile recently published a new deal: get a 17e 'free' with 24 month contract, with no trade-in. What wasn't clear online was if the 55+ plans would apply. So decided to stop back in while doing some errands by myself in DTLB. This store is marketed as a T-Mobile experience store. Whenever we stop in, it's fairly busy but staffed well enough to have someone immediately available to help with no wait. Like before, I interacted with Taylor (Sr. Mobile Expert). He confirmed my understanding, and then looked up to see if the 55+ Essential ($60 plus tax for 2 lines with auto-pay monthly) would qualify. I was very pleasantly surprised that it did. The plan works as an interest free loan, with T-Mobile giving us the $599 to purchase the phone. From the government's perspective, the phone was bought at full retail price, and sales tax must be paid by the customer at the time of sale, which is what I did for both phones. T-Mobile then gives us a $24.96 credit for each phone at each billing cycle to pay off the phone. This means that if we cancel the service before 24 months, we would owe the remaining balance on the phone(s). Either way, the phone would be unlocked and would belong to us. So with that information, I decided to move forward with Taylor. After asking a co-worker, he recommended that the entire transaction be performed over the T-Mobile app on my (old) phone (including payment)...and he stayed with me while we did so. I remarked if there was a way to credit him; he responded that at this store, the employees did not work on commission. The phone itself is on backorder and will be shipped directly to our home, at which point we could start the actual switch over process. Since the newest phones only use E-SIMs now, we shouldn't have to come back in to get them activated. But it's nice to know that if we want to get personalized attention to complete the switch, Taylor and the rest of the non-commissioned T-Mobile team at this DTLB experience are there to walk one through it.

I've come here for about a year, mostly for the printing services as I'm a university student, and…read moreto buy a few miscellaneous office supplies like pen ink refills, Post-Its, and a folder. But a few months ago, we saw a deal on a sandwich board directly outside the front door advertising a "student printer bundle," which included an HP printer, two ink cartridges, and a ream of paper for $100. A couple weeks later, we decided to do it. We walked in, asked an associate on the floor about it, and they said "Go up to the register, they'll set you up there." So we went and waited in line (not too long, like two customers ahead of us), but when we got to the cashier, she told us we're supposed to go get the printer ourselves, then bring it up and she would add on the ink and paper. 10 minutes later, we located the printer specified in the ad, and carried it up to the register. The cashier then started adding in the ink and a 20 lb. box of paper. Confused, we clarified that we wanted to do the student printer bundle on the board outside that came with only one ream of paper. She was completely bewildered, asked "For THIS store?" and ended up calling over a supervisor. He explained the deal to her and that all she had to do was scan all the products, and the total would automatically change to $100. She did that and it worked. After the supervisor walked away, she told us she had no idea about that deal. We thought that was very weird because that board had been in front of the store for at LEAST two weeks that she would've had to walk by? Also, shouldn't the employees know about the deals going on? Here's the part that really sent us: As we paid and finished checking out, the cashier's cell phone rang, she ANSWERED it on speaker phone, and it was clearly some man (adult son or husband?) at home. She continued casually chatting with him about nothing while she bagged up our items. ("What's wrong?" "Nothing, why?" "You sound weird." "I just woke up." "Oh... Well what are you doing?") Finally as we grabbed our bag and receipt and started to walk away, she mouthed "Bye." to us, the CUSTOMERS, so as not to interrupt her phone call. Lol, it was surreal. The printer bundle deal was great and we're glad it worked out, but man. That store does not run smoothly and the cashiers need... more professional development.
