I could not be more satisfied with the service that I received from Custom Video. Michael was incredibly patient with me while I sorted out the last issues with my film and he went above and beyond to make sure I was fully satisfied with the product before it was sent to print. Another thing that sets this company apart, according to my research they are the only company I have found that doesn't have a minimum order quantity so that is very nice as an independent filmmaker who doesn't need a crazy amount of copies straight away. Overall I am very pleased to finally be holding copies of my first film in my hands. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for quality custom DVDs. read more

I've used CVP on several occasions and they are great to work with. They come in on time, they'll help you if you need a discount for a big job and they are super nice! I love the quality and I was able to put precious video of my daughter's late father on DVD so she can have it forever! Thank you Michael. Alison Clay-Duboff read more

Yep - Costco's the place if you need 6,000 rolls of toilet paper, or tons of kitty litter, or enough canned clam chowder to survive in a bunker for months. But if you need prompt, efficient, precise, professional video and digital services - CUSTOM VIDEO is the place for you. Had an emergency last week - needed a video tape (I know, I know) converted to a DVD to use in four days for the university class that I teach. University people who do this were on vacation - days before school starts. Derp. Costco said "Sure, we can do it - we send it out - it'll take three or four weeks." Where are they sending it, Sri Lanka? I remembered Custom Video, where I take much of the materials I need for trial support in my "real job." The very pleasant and talented co-owner, Michael, had it done in just over an hour - a master and two copies. All were professionally labeled and packaged. Very impressive. Now I can share the DVDs with two of my fellow professors, and the stress of completely redoing the syllabus has vanished. So, for all of your video, digital conversion and other such technical needs, visit CUSTOM VIDEO. Would you have a shoemaker perform brain surgery? No, didn't think so. CUSTOM VIDEO is where I tell other professionals to go, and I will always go there first. Thanks, Michael. You made my Fall semester opening night a breeze, when it could have been a disaster. I'll be bringing others to him, including precious family memories, soon for conversion. Share review Edit review Delete review read more

Thank you for all your great hard work. YOU GOT ME THE JOB!!!! Thank you sooooo much. If it wasn't for your great editing skills and knowledge on how to edit my demo reel, I'm not sure if I would have made it. Thank you sooo much for doing such a great job on the transfer of my 8-mm film and my 16-mm film to video DVD. The PAL VHS to DVD I'm also now able to view and love the great quality. It brought back so many great memories. read more

I can't believe in reading these reviews that we are talking about the same company. I have never experienced such disorganized business practices. All I needed was some VHS videos of my family to be put on DVD discs. When I dropped them off, I asked the gentleman repeatedly what the procedure was and what was it going to cost. He never explained what they do (I am not an AV person - clearly). He just shot out a number and said he needed half to start. A week later Michael called to say that one of the tapes were really long and had to be put into 2 masters instead of 1 (which makes sense - I get that part). He kept saying it was going to be another $150. It didn't make any sense to me considering I was only getting 1 extra master and 3 copies. I called him back and hoped for a resolution. I told him I have no idea what they are charging (the guy at the beginning just handed me a credit card receipt with no invoice). I asked him what I was looking at dollar wise. He tried to explain with the prices. I hung up and did my own calculations. I was $70.00 cheaper than what he was quoting. I figured that when it was done that I could see what I was paying for. Michael handed me the DVD's and was more interested in getting my CC than telling me what he was charging me for. I asked for something in writing, which he looked at me blankly. Who pays close to $600.00 without something in writing? I don't. He said he would have to type something up. (Seriously? this is how you do business?) I said I would wait. He then proceeded to tell me that the wedding videos I had done as well was going to be an extra charge of $18.00 (9.00 each) because I only bought 1 copy and not 3. In looking at the wedding title, they miss-spelled mom and dad's wedding. Instead it read "Mom and Dan's wedding - seriously? On the dvd, it did say mom and dad's so clearly it wasn't my handwriting. So, even though they screwed up the title, he still had to charge me for not producing enough copies. So, after all this, I was so upset I couldn't even bother to watch the DVD's. I kept thinking at least I would have lasting memories. The whole thing looks thrown together. No one at this company explained to me that it has to go onto tracks. If I would have known that, I would have told them to segment out the family gatherings, parties, etc. Some of the footage is broken up from 1 DVD to the other. After spending so much money, I wanted to give a professional gift to my kids. Now, I am embarrassed. I will never do business with them again and I encourage anyone who is thinking of using them to get all your information first and don't hand your credit card until you are satisfied with what you are hearing. Terrible business practices. read more
