Hoja Santa Halibut Perfect Cooked halibut with pipian verde. It was meaty, light and tasted delicious

Went for 5 year anniversary. To start off the atmosphere was nice. Only comparable was Portland city grill, but the table design and spacing feels more eloquent. The service was really good. Provided recommendations, good conversations, and always available for another drink or question. Lastly, the food was as good as you can imagine. I'm not a word smith so I'll let my photos do the explaining.

Ambiance is fantastic - great views, of course, but also very clean design with timeless elegance. Very much inline with Ritz-Carlton expectations. Service was also FANTASTIC. Through and through. The food however, is a bit underwhelming given the venue and related expectations. Presentation was great, as was execution. Recipes were being followed perfectly. Prices were reasonable. But the flavor just mediocre - at least with our four brunch options. Duck Rillette $27 Potato Tots | Fried Eggs Caramelized Red Onion | Spicy Crema ( The duck meat was squarely in reheated mode, a bit tough, and almost no flavor. Which is remarkable for duck meat. The tater-tots were a bigger draw in this dish, which is embarrassing. ) Dungeness Crab Chilaquiles $34 Mushrooms | Avocado Mousse | Two Eggs your way Guajillo Salsa | Cotija ( I'm actually allergic to crab but was able to eat quite a bit of this with no problem; which lets you know how little crab was actually present, not just physically, but also in terms of flavor. ) Biscuits and Gravy^* $25 Foraged Mushrooms | Black Truffle Two Eggs your way ( Quite possibly the most depressing biscuits and gravy interpretation I've ever seen. "Nothing there" sums it up for me. Prime Rib Burger $25 Aged Cheddar Cheese | Maple Bacon Red Onion | House Ketchup | Aioli | Fries ( This was the best offering by far. A decent burger, but still well below a basic double double at In-n-Out, for reference. ) Maybe it's not about the food. The ambiance and vibe alone makes this place worth it to me and I'd love to go back and try dinner or Happy Hour here.

Came for a quick drink with a friend and was blown away by the incredible views! Service was a bit slow but our bartender was great.

S'more experience

We just went for drinks and a dessert. The view of course was a 5. The ambience inside was very upscale. Not sure I'd give it a 5 for the Ritz standard, but very nice. The greeting in the lobby was insane with greeting and history at a level 5 of being wowed with a luxury experience. The bartenders were fine, but not 5s. It felt like a bar experience at a 3-star. The drinks were delicious. We got the chocolate taco which was fine, but nothing too special. The s'more experience was very fun and worth it as a 5-star unique experience. Overall I'd give it a 4.

We went to Bellpine at the Ritz-Carlton and did the five-course tasting menu, and overall it was a really great experience. Review would probably be closer to a 4.5. The service was exactly what you'd expect from a Ritz -- top-notch, super attentive without being over the top. The atmosphere is honestly amazing. The views are incredible and the whole place just feels fancy and luxurious in the best way. The food did take a little longer to come out between courses, but it wasn't a big deal. You're there to enjoy the experience anyway. The first course was basically a donut stuffed with crab and it was unreal. So good. Probably one of the most memorable bites of the night. There was another dish that was super tasty as well (honestly everything hit). The steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. And dessert? Both the presentation and the taste were amazing. They clearly put a lot of thought into it. As far as taste goes, it's a 5/5 for me. The only small downside is the portions. For the price, I kind of wish they were a little bigger. I left still slightly hungry. But that's the trade-off with a high-end tasting menu -- you're paying for presentation, creativity, ambiance, and overall experience. Would I go back? Yes. It's definitely more of a special occasion spot, but the food and vibe were absolutely worth it.

Date: Saturday, March 1, 2025 Time: around 2pm Party of: 3 *Baller ($28) *Black Garlic Fries ($15) *Dalwhinne 15 ($28) *Red Breast 12 ($25) After lunch, a drink was in order. I love bars with a view, so we decided to check out Bellpine. We arrived without any kind of reservation, but it wasn't busy at all, so we easily got a table by the window. In fact, I think we were the only ones here as only a small section was open. It's located in the Ritz so of course it's swanky. Plush seating along the walls. Big windows so you can enjoy the view. Lives up to its location. I decided to try the BALLER - Roku Gin | Izarra Vert Basque Liqueur | Yuzu Lemon | Egg White | Cream I Green Tea Mochi I Midori Yuzu Lime Soda | Gold Leaf. I was in the mood for something lighter and this hit the spot. And it was also sooo pretty! The boys ended up getting straight pours of whiskey / scotch. Each pour was 1.5 oz according to the menu. Drinks are pricey, but I'd definitely recommend coming by for one round if you enjoy nice views and cocktails. REVIEW #3726

Anything at the The Ritz-Carlton is usually amazing, and this experience was no exception. Exceptional service from start to finish--our server was completely on point and attentive without being overbearing. Nothing to complain about at all. The décor is modern and elegant, and the view of Mt. Hood is absolutely beautiful. The standout of the meal was the crab Benedict--hands down the best poached eggs I've had anywhere. Perfectly cooked, rich, and memorable. An amazing experience all around.

Very happy with this brunch choice.

Let's not review prices: it's a downtown hotel, it's the Ritz Carlton. Are you expecting value? That said, I was very pleased with the brunch salad. I topped it with a very generous portion of salmon, which was full of flavor. The brunch Chilaquiles more than satisfied. The omelette, well, nothing special. Service was excellent. The view: of course it was superb as that's what you pay for.

Such a pretty view

I had afternoon tea at Bellpine and it was quite nice! The view was gorgeous. We came on the perfect fall day. The tea itself was delicious. The tea sandwiches were also very cute and tasty. Some of the bread was quite dry and I found the cranberry mustard super overpowering. But it was a lovely assortment of sweet and savory bites! The little desserts were light and not overly sweet. Between the two of us, we were pretty full! Our waiter, Sebastian, was so lovely and sweet. Thank you for such a lovely experience!

I wasn't impressed at all with the food at this Ritz. We did room service the night before because we were told this restaurant was fully booked on Saturday night. Both entrees we chose were on the dinner menu here: the tagliatelle and salmon. Both were not as described and bland. My salmon was gross. For breakfast we came to the restaurant and the views are lovely, tableware beautiful, and service was excellent. Our eggs, potato, toast and chicken sausage were not good. My scrambled eggs were bland and flavorless and tasted like powdered, the chicken sausage was so overcooked it was not even edible. I had three links and ate one of them the other two were hard and dry. The toast was ok. Our yogurt parfait with berry coulis and granola was good. The granola was very good. My earl grey was also good. For the prices and the bland and flavorless and low quality food, I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

First off I'm so sorry to my server but she was beautiful woman with curly blonde hair who worked Christmas evening, I'm saying this because she serves to know she is the best server I have had in a while. I actually stopped going to restaurants that are of this ambiance because I recently had a baby and we know they can be unpredictable but even my daughter was like this place is vibe! Haha. The open kitchen where you watch the chef and his staff prepare each tables selection is so entertaining. The view of Portland from the 20th floor of the ritz Carlton is probably the best view in Portland. We order the rack of lamb well done. It was perfect. It still retained its moisture even with my desire temperature. We also ordered the sliders with lobster. I wish we had ordered 3 more orders. That was the best burger. It was a tale of two worlds. Beef vs Lobster and it was a hell of a match. A match made in heaven. We also ordered the scallops. My daughter received salmon. Overall it was so good that I stopped eating after the first serving. I was stuffed as a tick on a hogs ass. Amazing. Spectacular. Award winning Portland food.

the dining room reminded me of the underside of a mushroom

We celebrated fancy for our two year anniversary dinner. We ordered the Chef's Tasting menu for $120 pp (7 courses). The drinks are insanely priced here (my mocktail was $20, ouch!) but the menu was inventive & overall we had a very lovely time What we got: Albacore & Wagyu Beef Tartare // Black Garlic, Bone Marrow, Yuzu Let's Go Nut's // Lyre's Sugar Cane, Dhos Bitter Sweet Lime, Orgeat, Heavy Cream, Coconut Crab Berliner // Dungeness Crab, Yuzu Kosho, Scallion Curtido Baby Romaine Salad // Black Garlic Caesar Dressing, Peppers, Croutons, Pecorino Tempura Pumpkin Spice "Donut" // Black Garlic, Roasted Garlic Aioli, Crispy Onions, Lemon Gel ‍ Last McCall // Novo Fogo Silver Cachaça, Papaya Syrup, Lime Juice, PDX Bitters Project Bellpine Divine, Thai Basil Blossom Scallops // Mango, Wonton Crisp, Hazelnuts Beef Tataki & Walla Walla Onions // Filet Mignon, Walla Walla Onions, Teriyaki Sauce Dessert play on Eggs & Bacon // incredible, must try, 5 stars, have no idea what was in it, wow wow wow, would order again ‍ The dining room is giving ~*under a mushroom*~

Been here several times already and I loved the weekend brunch and November afternoon tea. The bagel lox is big enough to share and comes with a rose cream cheese that is just so delicious with all the trimmings and smoked salmon. Came back again and had a froster banana French toast that was perfection. Never really had a bad weekend brunch here. The afternoon tea was really good too! Serving high quality savory and sweet bites that are to die for. I picked the Special Rose Tea that is made for this particular Ritz Carlton to represent the city of roses. Goes perfectly with this tea service. The scones were served with mascarpone, fresh jam, and lemon curd. There was so much food on this high tea, we took half of the desserts home. Can't wait to come back again.

With so many guava, pineapple and coconut-based options, it was honestly confusing on what to get but we decided on the classics: the Lei Lani Volcano and Lava Flow. The drinks were so creamy and delicious yet dangerously strong! Also, can we talk about the portion sizes? My drink was literally the size of my face, like what?!! It is best to come here in large groups because their shared drinks/scorpion bowls are a total showstopper! It is in a very upscale neighborhood of Portland called Grant Park, so it was fun to walk around and see all the cool houses - there was one imitating a thatched roof and what not. Unfortunately, oysters are only available on Sundays, but we decided to grab a couple of other little snacks instead. We got the steak tartare, and I have to say, it was honestly some of the best I've had in a long time. It had the perfect smoky touch and absolutely hit the spot. We also tried the sardine plate, which was such a fun little snack. The tzatziki sauce surprisingly paired so well with the Spanish sardines and really pulled everything together. Spanish sardines with a Middle Eastern-inspired sauce? Pretty clever! Our server was also lovely and came out to check on us throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. For just a little drop-in snack, the whole experience was surprisingly memorable and definitely left us wanting to come back. Such a cute spot! We even asked our waitress if we can keep the leftover olive oil to use it with the bread we ordered lol The oysters were also fantastic. They were barbecued, which isn't something you see every day. A little drier than a raw oyster, but still full of flavor. Limited seating so be sure to call ahead of time for a reservation if need be.
