Steak and Eggs

I ordered the steak and eggs for $50 with the eggs scrambled, because although I can make a great omelette and eggs over easy, my scrambled eggs are subpar so I was really looking forward to some fluffy eggs. While my dish didn't smell that great when they brought it to the table, I figured I could at least eat the eggs... but apparently the cooks at Bellini can't make scrambled eggs either. I got scrambled eggs that had stuck to the pan and a steak that didn't smell good. I ended up taking a few bites and took the rest home to my dog. The picture that I'm including is exactly as I left my plate. I had to add salt and pepper to the potatoes and still couldn't eat them. The waitress was nice, but a good server anticipates her customer's needs and I had to ask for a steak knife and hot sauce to try and cover up the taste of the eggs. I also had to ask the bus boy for refills on our drinks since the waitress never bothered asking if we wanted another drink. Miami has great restaurants now compared to 20 or 30 years ago, sadly Bellini is not one of them. Go elsewhere or save your money and cook at home using better quality ingredients.

Go for the view, not for the food. We stayed at Mr. C for the weekend and dined at Bellini, several times as it is conveniently located on the fifth floor of the hotel. The views are beautiful, overlooking Coconut Grove and the Bay in the distance. The staff is friendly and the service is impeccable. The food is lacking. We went for dinner and for several breakfast meals. At dinner, the highlight was the zucchini flower appetizer and pistachio gelato dessert. The pasta we ordered was not cooked well, bland sauce, and underwhelming. The smallish branzino entree came with asparagus and was nice, but nothing to write home about. Breakfast served up a nice cup of cappuccino and fresh squeezed orange juice, but the eggs and other dishes do not justify the exorbitant prices plus the 20% to 22% service and taxes applied to the cost of an overinflated plate of eggs. Even with a room credit of $90 for breakfast for two, you will likely exceed that with just 2 plates of eggs, 2 cups of cappuccino and juice. The restaurant itself is elegant. Indoor and outdoor dining options available. Take advantage of the view. The bar has warm lighting and is lovely for happy hour. The staff is professional and wonderful. The menu needs work. Valet parking is available at the ground floor of the hotel.

My friend booked this spot for Miami Spice Dinner on a Saturday. It is at the Mr C hotel. I had always passed here and was intrigued. As you walk into the hotel it smells funny. Most hotels in Miami are known for their wonderful classy smell. You go to the top floor. As you walk in, the place gives an older crowd vibe. It is nautical. The view is nice I'll say that. The appetizer, FRIED MOZZARELLA IN "CARROZZA, was not good at all. The SPAGHETTI ALLE VONGOLE was even worse. My friends lasagna looked off. The only thing that tasted decent was the tiramisu. The service was attentive . Overall the only thing I would recommend would be the dessert . A mocktail was $15. I would not come back here again. I do not recommend the Miami Spice .

Absolutely love this place. We stopped by after an influencer event happening across the hall. The staff was so nice and were able to accommodate us with a last-minute table outside on the balcony. The ambience was amazing. It was a little chilly out, but they had a heater to keep us warm. The pasta was perfectly done, light, fluffy, and well-seasoned. I'll definitely be back again.

Came in twice to dine at Bellini and both visits were superb. For breakfast I dined on the outside Terrance, enjoying the view and warm weather. The fresh orange juice was absolutely delicious as was the BLT. Came for dinner the night before and tried several dishes with friends and everything was fantastic, specifically the scallops, lamb chops, and truffle pasta. Don't miss the pistachio ice cream for dessert!

Bellini is located at the rooftop of the Mr C Miami hotel. It is an Italian restaurant that is yacht-inspired, giving vibes of the Amalfi coast. Beautiful views with indoor and outdoor seating. We had both breakfast and lunch, which were both winners. The refreshing freshly-squeezed orange juice and cappuccino paired well with my morning frittata! We ordered from the special lunch menu. They gave bread variety for the table to start with before lunch. The prosciutto sandwich with side salad were well made and not too heavy. Both the pistachio dessert my wife ordered and the tiramisu were very tasty, especially the tiramisu! Service was great! The Bellini drink (peach drink with sparkling white wine) was great too! I enjoyed the experience and would return for the food and views!

Amazing service!! Great view and surprising food!' Must try vació e peppe! Definitely be back!!

Calling the food here mediocre would be a generous statement. This feels like the biggest bait and switch job of restaurants that I've experienced in several years. Meaning they put off this exclusive / upscale vibe but when you get there they're using this hideous ultra thin linen tablecloths that are all wrinkled and don't even lay flat. I should've known by that. The food was awful. My mozzarella triangles were all cold. The cheese didn't pull as I bit into it and the breading on the outside was just warm. It didn't taste good at all. I forced myself to eat 2.5 of the 4 then stopped. I thought without question they'd remove it from the bill before I got the bill but to my shock it was still on the bill. The cacio e pepe and asparagus were decent. They charged $6 for a glass of unsweetened tea lol. This forced 20% gratuity garbage in Miami is the icing on the cake. I truly hate dining in Miami. The only thing good I'd say about this place is there is a beautiful view of the bay and the servers were all very responsive and friendly. I thought the food was one of the worst of any fine dining place I've been to in ages.

Tagliatelle alla Bellini

Delicious food, great service with hospitable waiters, and the best views you can get in coconut grove. Bellinis signature pasta dish is unbeatable, their whole menu highlights high quality ingredients which you can taste throughout every plate. I've been many times because it is a consistent restaurant here in the grove

Very beautiful place ,the staff is very attentive and professional, and the food is made to perfection. I came for early dinner and it was a nice experience. I was greeted at the door and we sat inside. The bar. Drinks are very well executed as well. I highly recommend this place.

We were celebrating a birthday and seeking a dining experience with beautiful views, great service, and luxurious dining experience. This restaurant exceeded those expectations. Bellini offers great views at the Mr. C hotel and provides valet parking, which is convenient given the challenge of finding parking in Coconut Grove. Prior to ordering, you are provided with a variety of complementary bread and butter which is always a plus. The focaccia bread being my favorite. I opted for the truffle pasta, which was divine. We ended the night with their pistachio ice cream, which definitely hit the spot. Our waiter and the entire staff were attentive throughout our visit, providing exceptional service that made us feel like top priority. In my opinion, the food seemed incredibly overpriced for the portion sizes, although it was delicious, it didn't give us that wow factor that we were looking for. It's something to consider when planning your visit. All in all, if you're looking to celebrate something special, I would recommend this restaurant for special occasions due to its luxurious atmosphere and top-notch service.

Bellini is located on the top floor of Mr C Coconut Grove hotel. The views are indeed quite nice, but overall the restaurant felt overpriced. For dinner, the initial bread bowl was complimentary, but the servers also whipped it away quickly after we finished our entrees without asking if we were still working on it. If you stay at the hotel, their concierge can make a reservation to dine here for you, but we were told they didn't have any availability for the night but we were still able to be seated as walk ins. The cocktails were tasty and very enjoyable, but fairly expensive. We were not particularly hungry, so ordered the dressed lobster and rigatoni ginovese to share between two people. Both dishes were tasty but the portion size for the price sort of negated that ($35 each dish). Plus the bill had 18% gratuity added by default. We also came back for breakfast and had an omelette and frittata - nothing overly special and they were also quite expensive. All in all, service was good and several folks went out of their way to explain the menu to us (appreciated because none of the pastas had descriptions). The food is good, and but nothing I'd write home about, especially for the price point. View is excellent, so perhaps that's the premium you pay for. I'd probably only dine here again if I was staying at the hotel.

OhMy...The Views!!!!!! Gorgeous!!! We came here for our anniversary dinner and from the moment we arrived, the host and the server wished us a happy anniversary and even gave us complimentary champagne to celebrate. We also had some delicious cocktails, I believe I had the Mr. C and it was super refreshing and delicious. For appetizers we ordered the octopus and it was nicely cooked but it lacked flavor, then we ordered the fried mozzarella and it was really delicious, crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside, just perfect. For dinner we both had pasta, first spaghetti alle vongole (one of my favorite Italian dishes) but here it was very salty, I sent it back because of it but the second one was just the same. We also had a delicious creamy pasta with truffles and that was definitely the winner. For the dessert we ordered Panna Cotta and it was creamy, topped with fresh berries, perfection... The service was great, the restaurant is beautiful. Great for special celebrations.

THE BEST DATE-NIGHT ROMANTIC SPOT IN MIAMI…read more Pane y Vino is one of those rare restaurants that gets everything right: charming, delicious, romantic, and completely unique. The décor has so much personality, and the entire experience feels wonderfully old-school--from the attentive service to the little details that make you feel genuinely taken care of. The owner is lively, charismatic, and absolutely charming, faithfully tending to her guests and making the whole room feel warm and personal. And then there's the food. The carpaccio was exceptional: paper-thin slices of fresh beef topped with delicately sliced mushrooms and a unique lemon crème that made the whole dish sing. The mussels were enormous, served in a spicy tomato broth so delicious you'll want to finish it with a spoon. Just when you think it can't get any better, dessert arrives. Homemade, gourmet, and prepared right at your table--and somehow it doesn't feel gimmicky at all. It's genuinely spectacular. The surprise hint of Nutella hidden beneath the delicate finger cookies takes it completely over the top. And if you love eggplant parmigiana, theirs is top of the line. The portions are hearty, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality and experience, and the atmosphere is made for a romantic night out. One warning: make your reservation in advance. Pane y Vino gets packed, and once you experience it, you'll understand why.

One always think "if they have good ingredients they're going to be good" but apparently, Pane e Vino misses this notion: they have the best ingredients for sure but also the master hand of incredible chefs that make every dish unique. My mum had the Cannelloni di la Nonna, smooth, and delicious. My dad had the Maltagliatti, and he didn't talk after he finished. I was celebrating my birthday. And I asked for the Alla Ruotta, but with Pappardelle. Made Al dente, this pasta was smooth, with a a sauce that merged the best Italian tomatoes, and the best Parmigiano Reggiano. I added cheese on top of it, but that's because I'm an absolute fan. Then after they sang Happy Birthday to me - something I didn't ordered - they provided the table with THE ABSOLUTE BEST TIRAMISÙ I HAVE EVER TASTED IN MY EXISTENCE. Don't ask the ingredients, enjoy. You're absolutely welcome. Creamy, soft, fresh, all done at the very moment. It makes you question why this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star... While the concept is the classic "Italian Hole-in-the-wall" and the ambiance is quiet, ideal for a romantic date, with dim lighting and soft music, there's always an artist making pasta at the window, and there's always time for the chiacchiere with Angelo. His stories of life and recipes are great, but also some Juventus talk, and how football evolves... amazing... amazing. Amazing food. Amazing people. Grazie mile, Marco e Angelo! Divina cuccina, divina famiglia! Un grande abbraccio argentino.

So take this with a grain of salt, because this is just my opinion of my experience (I see that this is a popular restaurant in miami). The best dish that I would eat again was the short rib meatball. Was great. Also on our table for apps was a salad and a pizza. Salad was fine. Nothing I need to write home about and the pizza was a little dry for me. The sauce and cheese were dry and it's also that kind of ultra thin pizzas that it's crunchy like a cracker. I ended up putting the sauce of the short rib meatball on the pizza and actually made it much better. My version of scarpetta:) actually speaking of doing a scarpetta the bread is so good. The focaccia was really tasty and glad we tried. Now the main event, the pastas. Don't hate me now but I didn't care for them! The amatriciana was soo salty and the guanciale was soggy. Not enjoyable to eat at all. The cacio e Pepe also was salty and yes I know the cheese makes it salty but it was too much and again not enjoyable. Both pastas were really not great and both were so so gummy. I found them to be so gummy. Not al dente but not overcooked. It was just such a weird consistency to eat. Desserts were fine. Banana made me surprised that I liked it and the tiramisu was meh for me. Not bad but dessert in general was okay. Service was phenomenal though!!

The menu is concise, to the point and mainly focused on traditional and/or comfort food in this case Italian. I can't believe I had it saved for so many years but today I got to experience some of the best food I've had in the city with the most remarkable service ever. This is a family owned restaurant and as a customer I felt as family too. Beto, the owner, makes you feel like part of his extended family from the moment you step foot in the joint and all throughout your culinary adventure. I hadn't made reservations and he made sure to find me a table for one even though it was super busy at the time. He also recommended a few dishes but ultimately convinced me to try one of the chef's specials which I've been talking about till this day. His staff is also very attentive and diligent. Having said that let me break down what I ate with a nice chilled glass of wine: Antipasto: Burratina...Fresh homemade burrata mozzarella on top of thin slices of prosciutto, basil and extra-virgin olive oil. Served with roasted red peppers and tomatoes. All fresh and with high quality ingredients without a doubt. I wanted something light before the pasta and this was very filling so I couldn't finish it but... Entre: Chef's special...Pappardelle Patagonia. Green flat homemade noodle with vodka sauce, Italian sausage, pancetta, mushrooms and fresh herbs. This was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in my life. Perfectly cooked "al dente" with a creamy vodka sauce that'd have you wanting to lick the damn plate. That Italian sausage was also so divine and they don't skimp on portions or ingredients. I'm glad Beto suggested this one instead of the Pappardelle Italian sausage. Dolci: cheesecake. I have no idea how I still had a little bit of room for dessert after that feast but this cheesecake was all worth it. Not overly sweet and very rich and velvety. This is arguably one of the best Italian joints in town. Just delicious Italian comfort food made with love and excellent service to got with it. Beto offered an espresso to end this extraordinary meal. He takes the time to go to every table and make sure customers are taken care of and that's what makes the difference. These are the type of restaurants that leave a lasting impression on their patrons and make them come back time after time.

-- FELICE Brickell: Great Food Means Nothing When Management Treats Customers Like an Inconvenience…read more Imagine walking into a restaurant, being perfectly willing to wait, spend money at the bar, and enjoy your evening--only to be treated as though your presence is a problem. Welcome to FELICE Brickell. Yesterday, we arrived without a reservation and made it clear to the hostess that we were in no rush. We were happy to have drinks at the bar while waiting for an indoor table for two. While at the bar, we ran into a friend. Thinking the staff might have mistaken us for a party of three, I approached the hostess to clarify. The manager, who was standing beside her, responded with an arrogant and dismissive attitude: "You have to understand that we have reservations." Really? We understood that from the beginning. We weren't demanding a table or special treatment. We were simply willing to wait. Meanwhile, the restaurant had an entire second floor closed and a live band performing downstairs. Yet somehow, a customer willing to spend money and patiently wait was treated like an inconvenience. The issue wasn't the wait. It was the attitude. In a neighborhood like Brickell, where excellent restaurants are practically next door to one another, management should understand that customers have plenty of choices. Good food is not enough to compensate for bad hospitality. And no restaurant is so special that it can afford to treat customers with arrogance. FELICE may have a great menu, but its management could use a serious lesson in customer service. Customers don't expect special treatment. They expect respect.
