Ordered 2 pizzas, 2 drinks, and a pasta through Uber Eats as this restaurant was under the hotel we were staying at. Food was the best authentic Italian food we've had and the employees we interacted with were all very nice. We didn't sit to eat in the restaurant but everything looked clean, organized, and nicely decorated. We expect it to be on the pricier side because of the area but it was reasonable. It was $80 for what we ordered but I believe it was worth it and we will be coming back. read more

I went there last night to have dinner. I was the only customer, there was literally no one there but me. The host seats me, and the waiter brings me water and a menu. He walks away and I don't see anyone else for 18 minutes. I get up and ask the host what happened to my waiter.. He goes to get him and he comes back after two minutes. Total wait time was 20 minutes. I was annoyed at this point and asked for an appetizer of meatballs to go. There was no apology, no explanation, nothing. The meatballs were brought out in a bag and there was a 4 dollar gratuity already added on. This was ridiculous. First of all, I am now a take out customer since you made me wait for NO REASON.... Bellillo is a Neapolitan pizza restaurant making its foray into the United States. They have decided to open in one of America's most exciting and booming neighborhoods-- right here in Brickell, Miami! With fierce competition from Mister O1, DC Pie Co, Piola, and Casa Tua, Bellillo stands out with its attention to quality (probably the best ingredients I've had in a pizza to date, not a shot at the competitors) and it's Neapolitan pizza style (doughy/bready crust and a little bit more saucy and cheesy than others). Our Castelpoto and Calabrese pizzas were absolutely delicious! The Castelpoto is topped with spicy sausage that's thinly sliced (think charcuterie board slices) and the Calabrese is made with white sauce and topped with pepperoni. The white sauce is not overpowering by any means, but you can definitely taste it once you proceed to take your first bite! Given the fact that the pizzas are all oven-baked, the wait times were fairly quick for a busy Saturday night. My only "knocks" per say might be the price (average of ~$25 for most pizzas) and lack of variety vs. some of the competition. However, this may not be bad considering the quality of food being produced. We'll see! We'll definitely be back to Bellillo when we're looking for a simple, but amazing pizza in the area! Restaurants should not charge 18% of service charge to the bill and subsequently ask for additional tip starting at another 18% because "the first 18% is not for the waiters" as we were told. Careful with what it felt like a scam at Bellillo. Like many restaurants in Miami, they include 18% service fee, however they don't clearly disclose it like others. We were asked to go to the counter to pay and when we asked whether it was already including the 18%, they tried to hide it and tried to charge an additional 20% on top. Extremely disappointing. Very disappointed. Waited 45 minutes for the very expensive calzone style neopolitan pizza and received a pizza that simply was 1/2 of a regular pie. When it finally arrived the pizza was nothing like a calzone. The crust was thin, soggy and the flavors were absent. it was obvious that they forgot our order and then hastily threw something in. It was pretty awful. The Arancini ball was interesting. Be aware, check your bill, they add an 18% "service charge" without explanation and still ask for more tip on the card. Shady. read more
