This place really blew our socks off! The place is located right in between Kaori and Chipotle, so you can walk right past it if you miss their large neon sign. There is both indoor and outdoor seating options. The pizza is traditional Napoli style pizza, but it is extremely light. Even though the pizza was simple, it was packed with flavor and really was delicious. I think I could eat an entire pizza next time! The pasta was also really good, we got the paccheri allo scoglio, which was a unique pasta, and it was cooked to al dente perfection. The sauce and the seafood were also very tasty. The appetizers looked good - we tried the calamari, which was solid, but I would like to try the meatballs next time. We finished the night with a pistachio tiramisu which was decadent and special. The wine options are decent, and the bottle prices are not bad for the options they have. The service was pretty good and the waiter was very nice and friendly. I will be back soon! read more

An attractive looking bistro, we stopped in while walking down the street. Hostess & server were friendly and attentive. We ordered a salad & lasagna to split. Salad was great but the lasagna was barely warm. Server took it back to the kitchen for reheating. She arrived 5 minutes later with a warning to watch out for the hot pan in which it was served. Pan was hot, but the lasagna was still tepid. 5 minutes in the oven didn't penetrate the layers of pasta when 1 minute in a microwave would have done the trick. We picked at the lasagna but didn't even finish our halves. Server and hostess were both advised of the situation. If I were managing a restaurant, or any other service company, I would want to know about any negative events so they could be addressed directly with the customers. In this case, take the lasagna off the bill and apologize profusely. Nothing happened. Bottom line: clueless kitchen staff and lack of management. read more

We ordered the eggplant parm for our appetizer and 2 cocktails. Our main course was spaghetti pomodoro and the 3 Regioni pizza. I went to Bellillo on a Thursday night with a large group. We had made a reservation a few days in advance and despite having a reservation our table was not ready and we had to wait almost 30 minutes for our table. After we were seated, service was still quite slow. It took over 15 minutes to put in our order and by that time the restaurant had run out of burrata (it was only 8pm). Unfortunately half of the pizzas use burrata so we weren't able to try many items since they didn't do substitutions for it. The focaccia is not your standard focaccia and just tastes like pizza crust with oregano. My group tried a few of the pizzas and they were all very mediocre. We also tried the gnocchi and were disappointed that it was undercooked. I had seen a lot of good reviews for the dessert so I tried the pistachio tiramisu. Unfortunately I don't expect it to take 30 minutes to get my dessert even though the restaurant was empty. In the end it just tasted like cream and not tiramisu at all. Great pizza spot in Brickell with outdoor patio area, happy hour and great dishes. I stopped in here with my family during our last visit to Miami. We sat inside and was greeted by a very friendly waitress. Took advantage of the happy hour beer discount and order three different pizza. Each pie unique and tasting great. We also shared few pasta dishes which were very good. The place is located in a busy spot with lots of foot traffic so I would recommend making a reservation if you heading there for a meal on the weekend. The food is very good and the Neapolitan pizza is among the best you can find outside of Italy. But where Bellillo really shines is in its service. The staff are incredibly kind and generous. They wasted no time in creating a welcoming friendly atmosphere the second we stepped into the restaurant and the feeling didn't end the entire time. If you are looking for a good pizza in a beautiful restaurant you might be surprised to find it in the heart of Brickell. But this restaurant is the real deal. This has quickly become my favorite pizzeria in South Florida. I know, I know, there are lots of options in South Florida. It doesn't matter what type of pizza you fancy, there's a spot for you. That said, I'm a big fan of artist in though, fresh ingredients, and a perfectly cooked pie. Bella is all of that and more. Obviously, the location is super trendy. The fact that it's open late is awesome. But nothing compares to how good the pizza is. I always start with a meatball appetizer, and the cheese croquettes. They are on point like a decimal. The margarita with the buffalo mozzarella is amazing. The fettuccine Alfredo with chicken is awesome. And ending the night with a Nutella pizza with pistachios is like the cherry on the Sunday. This place is a rip off. They charge you a service fee on top of your meal price that is not listed anywhere you can see. When you ask a manager they say it's gratuity and when you ask a server they say it's a service fee and not a tip. Somebody's lying. Popped in for a late-night, weekday meal a few weeks ago and was pleased to see them still open and with tables inside readily available. We sat directly across the restaurant from the pizza oven where I witnessed the pizzaiolo was carefully and expertly making the pizzas and diligently watching them in the oven and turning them every so often. Watching him work let me know they take their pizza seriously so I quickly decided a pizza is what I would order. I ordered one Calabrese and had no trouble putting it away (I was famished) and no regrets either. The pizza was airy, the dough was just chewy enough, and the toppings were flavorful but not too heavy. It's some of the best pizza I have had outside of Italy and NYC (albeit those are 2 different types) and I would gladly come back here if in the area again. What a gem in Brickell! After a long night out, all I wanted to do was gobble down some yummy pizza, and I found bellillo on the map with a proximity search. Since I was already at a bar in Mari Brickell Village, it was very close by. I was so happy to see that it was open late, and I was able to get a pie at 1:30a. Neapolitan pizza is my favorite and it has been a while since I have liked one this much, I would say it almost beats out my other favorite Neapolitan pizza in Miami which i won't name here, but cannot be found in Brickell anyway. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a nice section off patio and snazzy ambience, that still keeps you close enough to the hustle and bustle of the street to remember where you are and people watch The large margherita pizza was about $20 so, no special deal but definitely delicious. The signature Neapolitan style means you have to fold it to eat it because it is so thin that it droops over and this is the perfect example of an authentic pizza Napoletana. all of the ingredients tasted yummy and fresh and the wait was not that long for me to get my pie to-go. The staff was nice, and when I asked for extra basil, added it at no extra charge. I don't often go out in Brickell anymore but when I do, I will be keeping this place at the front of my mind!
