Coti was an amazing! Food was delicious, we bought two pizzas and it took us back to Italy!

When my husband and I entered this restaurant, we heard Italian being spoken by several staff members and a few patrons, which we took as a good sign. Not so much. The pasta dishes were okay (my husband's bolognese was "passable," he said, while my simple spaghetti pomodoro was a bit overcooked and drowned in sauce), but the appetizer, a potato croquette filled with cheese, looked and tasted like something that was microwaved after being removed from a sweaty frozen food box. The bread was actually quite good. Overall, however, we were shocked that a restaurant that apparently employs actual Italians would serve such mediocre food. read more

I can not say enough amazing things about Bellillo. The owner Salvatore is an absolute treasure and his hospitality (plus the superb quality of food) is what keeps me coming back. I am a Brickell local and this is my go to pizza spot. This is the best neapolitan pizza outside of Italy! Fellow Brickellians are in for a t r e a t! This spot literally just opened a week ago, which is why you don't know about it yet--but you will! They have 3 locations: London, Barcelona, and Naples and we are blessed to be the 4th and first in the U.S. Each pie is sprinkled with a blend of cheeses and hand-tossed into a brick oven. The crust on it's own is so good--that's how you know it's real. Salad was delicious! It was just simple arugula with a baratta which I had never experienced before. Holyyy smokes! The baratta mixed w the salad made it super simple for me to eat with the only utensil I had at my hotel room, a spoon. Highly recommend this place if you are in Miami! read more

My fiancé and I ate here late last night and really enjoyed our experience. The fact that we were able to not have junk food at 1am and have a full dining experience was unique and as food connoisseurs we really appreciated that! The bathroom was clean and overall the restaurant space was well maintained. The server, Nancy was fantastic. She was very friendly, and gave us recommendations. We started with the focaccia and wow it took me straight to Italy. It just came out of the oven, so it had the right temperature and the taste was phenomenal. We also had the arancini, which was okay we probably wouldn't order it again but the burrata was really impressive it had the right creamy texture and just melted in your mouth. The prosciutto was fresh. I had the spaghetti pomodoro which was okay, I think next time I would ask without parmesan because I felt like it overpowered the dish. However, my fiancé had the salmon fettuccini alfredo (Nancy recommended) and that was fantastic! Definitely a unique dish, you could taste the salmon and overall for being a pasta dish it felt light and not heavy. Thank you for a great experience. read more

Went here on a Sunday night around 11pm with me and my 3 friends. Got sat immediately and waited 5-7 minutes to order drinks, we ordered two appetizers when we ordered the drinks and the appetizers were never brought out, we had to remind the server about the appetizers and to check on them, they came out maybe 30 minutes after we had initially ordered them. Our entrees then came out 10 minutes after our appetizers. Luckily the food was generally decent, but the service was not. Especially since it was my friends birthday, we had asked if they did anything for birthdays and they offered us a tiramisu. We waited 20 minutes for it and it never came, so we just asked for the check because we were tired of waiting and wanted to leave, the check then took an additional 5 minutes to be dropped off. And for the cherry on top of the automatic 18% service charge put on the bill, I always tip when I go out to eat because I am myself a server, but the "service charge" gives the server no encouragement or effort to try and actually give the guest great service and create a memorable experience and earn their tip. Very bad experience, the food was an 8/10, maybe I caught them on a bad night but I won't be going back due to the poor service and wait time for everything. The food made this visit not entirely an utter complete disaster. read more

By Miami standards this place is 5 stars, but the Miami food scene overall is beyond trash so I won't judge this place by Miami standards. I was recommended to go to Bellillo by a true Neapolitan, the experts of pizza Napoletana. Bellillo, meaning "cute" in Italian came from London, Barcelona, and Napoli, and opened its doors to its newest location in Brickell, Miami! The pizza was served fresh out of the brick oven in minutes. You can even see the pizzaiolo's love and labor put into each pizza it from the dining room. "From our lands to your hands." All of the ingredients are imported from Italy! The dough had a soft texture to it with a smoky taste from blackened edges of the brick oven... just how I like it. Well , Bellillo was an amazing surprise I stopped there at my lunch break with coworkers and I was very skeptical.... A good pizza napoletana in the heart of Brickell??? And yes ... it's really really good. We tried the Real Pizza napoletana ( with anchovies) , spaghetti al pomodoro and we took advantage of their healthy lunch special offer ... the CAPRESE SALAD IS A MUST!! Waiters and manager/owners were so friendly and the service was very good. Price point is there. We haven't tried a lot but I will go back for sure. Neapolitan crust is my favorite, so having tasty crust goes a long way. I just don't know that my pizza was worth $23.00. I also didn't realize "white-based" meant no sauce at all. I don't remember if I ever spent that much at a pizza place. We had a similar issue with hiding the 18% service charge, which by now is no wonder removed. Soft drinks are super overpriced! The service can also be improved. The pizzas are a bit bland. Nothing extraordinary. However, it looks great in the photos, and I believe they use good quality ingredients. The dough is fresh and lovely. I have mixed feelings about the Frittatina Pistachio. The Tiramisu was alright. The place looks and feels nice. I love the beautiful oven. The pizza here is OK but could be better. I'm more of a fan of American and NY style pizza over Neapolitan so my opinion could be biased. The sauce and toppings are very fresh and taste wonderful, the pepperoni isn't really pepperoni but more like something you would find on a charcuterie board. I found it very interesting to taste on a pizza. However the dough is super doughy, almost like it was slightly raw. They are trying to do the coal fired style crust with the slightly burnt edgings, however it really only works on the end crust. The dough underneath was very floppy and soggy. Not very crisp at all. Also for whatever reason the pizza gets cold really fast. It was pretty much already cold on the second slice, so I'm eating a floppy raw dough that's already cold. With some slight improvements to the dough, I think it could be a really great pizza. For now though I just don't think it has the magic to being a "great pizza" read more

Came across this spot and you can watch as they roll the pizzas out and see how good the ingredients are. Turns out they don't just look that way, but they also taste that way. I went to Bellillo on its opening night. Cute place. Great location. Flavor of the pizza is good. Crust is delicious. However the pizza is really challenging to eat. They don't cut it into triangles as is typical in the US so you have to tear into it. It's also really saucy so there's the possibility of getting it all over you. Be careful! Would I go back? I'm not sure. Mister01 (a few feet away) in Brickell still reigns supreme in my mind and their pizza is easier to eat. I haven't written off Bellillo though. Hoping it has many years of success ahead of it. read more

We caught them at one of their between shift times of the day, the service was almost non-existent. The table had a margherita pizza, lasagna, and a pasta dish. I should not have assumed, but this place does not offer salads or sides to go along with their lasagna. I was served a 3x3 inch portion of lasagna, that's it for $15. No garlic bread, no salad, nothing. Just wanting to end the lunch I didn't want to ask for anything in addition to my lasagna afraid it would extend the meal. read more

We parked right in front, and my window was down, the host is watching us both so it's obvious he had a wife. This was my first time at Bellilio and it was on a Saturday afternoon. It was nearly empty, only 2 or 3 other patrons. I'm sure my review won't help that, but I have to be honest My boyfriend got the carbonara. It was good. The cheese was quite sharp, but I enjoyed it. The noodles were thick but al dente. The pork was nice and chewy. It wasn't the worst carbonara I've ever had, nor the best. I got the meatball pizza and a glass of cabernet. I ordered the meatball pizza over the Pepperoni because it mentioned basil. There was no detectable basil in the meatball pizza. The meatballs were firm but not dry. The tomato sauce was sweet. The dough was cooked through but a bit floppy from the tip through the mid section. The cabernet was fine, I'm not a wine critic though. For pizza, I prefer Mister 01. I have been to Sorrento Italy and tasted real Italian pizza, I stand by my ranking. Service was decent. I don't think our waiter spoke much English. I couldn't tell where he was from, my boyfriend thought he was Italian. Overall, I thought this place was between OK - good. My boyfriend said he would give it a 7/10 or a 3.5/5. I said I would give it a 3/5. One thing to note that I like is that they're open until 3 AM. If I'm out late and this is an option, yes absolutely I would go there. UNDISCLOSED 18% service charge (not tip!) is highly unethical. Everyone is walking out of this place paying between 38-40% for service and most of them don't even know it. After a super confusing and stressful walk home trying to figure out why my credit card was charged $100 instead of the $82 I had calculated in my head, I had to go on yelp to figure out that there is a service charge no one in the restaurant tells you about and is also not listed in the menu or anywhere. This is a completely unethical way to treat your customers and it is frankly borderline fraudulent. The owners should be ashamed of themselves. Here is how they get you: as I said, no one tells you about the service charge. No one brings you an itemized receipt either. If you are paying by credit card, you are asked to go inside to the computer. There they show you the items you ordered and all looks good, so your card is swiped. Then you are prompted to provide tip - 18%, 20%, 22% are suggested, same as everywhere. You select 20%, and a not-itemized receipt is printed. Only if you look at it and have a vague idea what your bill should cost are you going to realize you have just been bamboozled out of (in my case) roughly $18. I will never be going back here. It is sad because my wife and I enjoyed our salads and pizza and if the owners ran their place with the same ethics of every other restaurant in town, we would have probably been repeat customers. But the more I think about it, the more this set up of theirs feels like outright fraud. Shameful. And short-sighted. We couldn't figure out why this restaurant was empty despite pretty good food.
