Im SO glad I found this place online. I was in town and without a vehicle. I ordered the gluten free brick chicken, mashed sweet potatoes and grilled veggies. It was delivered and like getting a present delivered to your door. It was such a fresh, scrumptious gift! The chicken was tender and the veggies had the perfect amount of crunch. A wonderful location as it's outdoor area faces the yard at City Centre, where there is normally a band on the weekends or just a crowd of people hanging around. The restaurant is at the heart of City Centre, you can't miss it. They've opened up a bar outside, as well, so easy access to your glass of wine to enjoy outside. Fabulous restaurant in a convenient location on Alabama Street. Easy to park which is a huge plus for me! Order at the counter which is easy and food is served fast and so fresh. I'm not sure why all the Ruggles Greens became bellagreens but the menu is still virtually the same. Came here after church one Sunday to grab a bite to eat. I think the food at this location is better than the one in Sugar Land. I personally like the salads the best at bellagreen and their spinach salad is excellent. On nice days it is fun to eat outside and enjoy the view of the square nearby. Great place to bring kids! The kids' portions are generous. Went to eat at bellagreen on a Friday afternoon with my daughter. The place is located the center of City Centre, you can choose to dine inside or outside (if the weather permits). How to order? You go inside and pick up a menu and get in line to order, they have about two or three registers you can order from. Next to the registers they have desserts display as well. How long we waited our order?(This is the reason why I gave it 3 stars) I have been to bellagreen before and when it used to be Ruggles, I usually never wait long for my food to come out, but that day I waited almost 15 minutes for our food to to be served. I wish the food came out promptly because I was on a tight schedule. I would not recommend coming here if you are in a rush to be somewhere. What we order? My daughter ordered the Spicy Southwest Chicken Pasta. Not sure if my daughter liked her pasta since she did not really finish it, but the pasta was a not spicy at all. I was not too hungry so I had a cup of the Fire Roasted Tomato Basil Soup. It was a different type of soup, it had a crispy puff pastry dome that covered the cup of soup. Wonderful fresh and healthy food where you order at the counter, and servers bring the food to your table. I had two sides for my lunch - the delicious quinoa salad and roasted vegetables (seasonal cauliflower and broccoli) which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to a temperature that brought out the flavors and textures. My friends had the Veggies burger, and found them flavorful and substantial. Another friend had the Salmon Salad, which she found to be savory and grilled to perfection. We came for Mother's Day brunch - arrived around 11:30. We ordered the chicken & waffles (our favorite). When we got our plates - we asked for the whipped cream. The server advised they stopped serving the whipped cream at brunch. What?!?! So if we came for breakfast we could have that served with our plate? Makes zero sense. read more

I have eaten here a few times since I work in City Centre. I had been craving a chicken salad sandwich, so I decided to try Bellagreen's for dinner tonight. I got it to go, since I was working at the office late. This sandwich had a nice toasty, crusty bread. Fresh spring mix and tomato for the veggies. The chicken salad had the works with pecan, cranberry, green onion, celery, mayo and parsley. All these flavors put together made for an amazingly good chicken salad sandwich. there was something that really resonated with me when they were still called Ruggles Green, but once they re branded to Bella Green, I feel like they lost some originality and sparkle! Also, when this location was still Ruggles Green, I recall too many unpleasant encounters with service and cleanliness at this location. The restaurant, drink stations, floor mats, etc. always had this stinky mildew smell that lingered so I never wanted to dine in. This time, the restaurant smelled and looked very clean. Although, my cold beer glass had leftover strawberry purée piece or something rather on the inside, which leads me to believe it wasn't washed properly. Food was delicious and fresh. We ordered the paleo mango salmon tacos + a side of sweet potato fries. The paleo tacos were fresh and the cole slaw added a nice crunch. The salmon was seasoned and cooked well, but I wasn't a fan of the egg omelette style wrap to replace an actual taco. I think a crispy taco shell would've complimented the other ingredients well, but I'm thinking that there omelette wrap is what makes this dish paleo, so it would only make sense. Just not a huge fan, personally. I enjoyed how crispy the sweet potato fries were! We nearly finished the entire bowl. My friend and I came here for brunch around 12:30 PM on Saturday, September 1, 2018. Needless to say, I was impressed by the quality of food and individual service! Space: Such a cute design and decor inside! Very refreshing, clean, and natural light flows in through the giant glass windows. Lots of Instagram-worthy backgrounds!! Their outside patio is right next to the green space in the middle of City Center. Restrooms: Clean. There are even gender-neutral restrooms available in addition to the women and men restrooms. Parking: Park on the 3rd floor of the parking garage near Studio Movie Grill. It's free. Walking time is less than 5 minutes from the garage to the restaurant. Service: You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Very quick. I felt like my friend and I didn't wait very long for the food either. Carlos, one of the chefs/servers, was also very attentive and he kept checking on our table to make sure we were okay. Food: I ordered the breakfast platter. Due to my dairy allergies, I substituted the two pancakes with a bowl of fruit. I liked how the menu was very gluten, dairy, and nut allergy friendly. They even color code which food item is allergy-free. How useful for people like me! Price: I thought the pricing was reasonable for the portion size. Although I was able to finish everything on my plate, I received a lot more than I expected (which is always a good thing)! Final thoughts: I give this place a 5/5 star rating, because it was my first time here and I was impressed by the fresh interior design, quick and attentive service during peak brunch hours, and the availability of PokeStops and a PokeGym nearby for my fellow Pokémon Go players. read more

I had the buffalo burger cooked medium well (def getting it medium next time). It was my fault I ordered it medium well bc it was too dry. I could hardly taste the difference between beef and buffalo. I ordered the burger with a side of sweet potatoe fries and the fries never disappoint me! The wheat bun was soft, sweet and warm. I love it here. The food is fresh and good. Been here twice and left fully satisfied. Love their pancakes especially the popper seed pancakes. Its different but good. Just the right amount of crispy. Food is good, and staff is great, but discombobulated between people order, drink and table items and people waiting for pickups all the in the same area. That whole area gave me anxiety. We also went for a work meeting, not a good option but not their fault. Tall ceilings and a lot of people moving around. Last observation is it is one of those restaurants where the floor is slippery. I notice this because I am a total klutz and was shuffling everywhere to avoid a fall. Disclaimer: I'm on Whole30 this month. While in town on business, I decided to have dinner here on my last night based on a coworker's recommendation. I checked out the menu ahead of time to ensure that there were a few complaint options on the menu. I was eyeing the signature dish, Brick Chicken. I subbed the mashed sweet potatoes with the Houston's best by vote sweet potato fries without any issue. I was told that there would be a 15-20 minute wait time to prepare the dish. No problem! My meal arrived within the time promised. The chicken looked great and tasted delicious. The skin was crisp and the lemon and rosemary provided a nice flavor boost. The chicken was a bit dry. The sweet potato fries did not live up to their hype...some of them were undercooked. The roasted veggies had a nice char while remaining crunchy which I like. Overall not a bad meal for being on a restricted diet. This is an order at the counter and a server brings you your food kind of spot. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. 35 minutes for a to go order when there was never really a line... and the order was wrong. Food was decent as expected but honestly the 35 minutes with a constant "5-10 more min" explanation got old Ordered: 1. Crab and shrimp pasta - portions were a bit on the smaller side but it was perfect for my wife and she liked it so yay 2. Turkey burger - can't really screw up a burger. The fries were extra soggy though and I had to run them through the air fryer when I got home (we live 3 miles away, so it wasn't sitting in there long). Would've also liked some extra condiments. 3. Shrimp tacos... but received fish tacos - honestly the flavor of the fish tacos were pretty good, just disappointed that we didn't get the shrimp that we were expecting. Finally got a chance to try out Bellagreen. There were 3 of us so we were able to check out a few things on the menu like the shrimp and crab pasta, salmon tacos (paleo friendly), shrimp tacos, and the sweet potato fries. Followed by the key lime pie and the white chocolate bread pudding. The pasta was refreshing and tasted really good. The portion size was pretty good. What I enjoyed most was that each dish had a little flare. For example, the pasta had corn in it which was a pleasant surprise and texture wise went surprisingly well with the dish as a whole. The shrimp tacos looked phenomenal and were freshly made. The salmon tacos had like an egg shell so we were a little on the fence. My friend loved them though. The sweet potato fries are one of the things they are known for and I although I am not a huge fan of sweet potato fries in general they were pretty good. I wasn't a big fan of the key lime pie either. It had this like soft oatmeal kind of crust with coconut in it. And topped with strawberries. It was just a lot of flavors and textures that didn't mesh well. The crème brulee however was to die for. 10/10 amazing.
