Met up with a friend today for dinner at BellaGreen in City Center. I've been here a few times and I love this restaurant for its simplicity and convenience. You can sit anywhere you want and you order your food through the mine and they'll bring it out to you. Great place to meet up for lunch as well and they do brunch on the weekends with live music from time to time. You'll either have to pay the meter to park on the street level or you can park in the parking garage (but read the signs in case it's a reserved spot) I usually get the lamb burger but I noticed they don't have it on the menu anymore so I just got the spinach/artichoke dip which was served with Pita Bread and their 8 piece wings. I will say that my spinach dip had an interesting taste. I'm not sure what type of cheese was used but I imagine that's what contributed to it. It had an aftertaste that I want to say was a bit tart/mildly sour. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't my absolute favorite. My wings were really good but they were a little too small and a tad bit over cooked. I've had better food from here before but my dinner today was just okay. I'll probably get another burger again the next time I come. I'll give this place a 4/5 overall but I think my food this to round was more of a 3.5. read more

This is one of my go-to places for lunch, being that I work at City Centre. They never disappoint. Sometimes the service is a little slow but it's because they stay pretty busy. This is my favorite restaurant right now. They have amazing gluten free options, and desserts. This is one of the few restaurants that I feel most "seen" when it comes to gluten-free food. I usually order delivery but I did attend this location for my birthday brunch. They took great care of us that day. It was a group of us and they made sure we got everything we ordered. The sweet potato fries were awesome, I see why they were voted best in Houston. The salad, was fresh and flavorful, but I am not a fan of fruit in my salads. YUM. We visited Bellagreen yesterday after church and it was SO good. My husband got the salmon pasta and we also ordered hempanadas as a starter. I got the fried goat cheese salad and it was seriously one of the best salads I've ever had. It had a really great variety of flavors and textures and that fried goat cheese medallion was out of this world creamy! I really love their salads, their portions are huge and plenty options than your typical salad. I ordered a honey fried goat cheese salad and the goat cheese was sooooo good! It was the star on the plate and I also added grilled tofu for some protein. This salad was so huge that I can share it with another person. My daughter had chicken tenders and sweet potato fries. I wish the fries were a bit more crispier but it was still good. My sister got the paleo stuffed salmon bc she loves a good fish taco. Im SO glad I found this place online. I was in town and without a vehicle. I ordered the gluten free brick chicken, mashed sweet potatoes and grilled veggies. I went into the office for the first time in a LONG time and went with my colleagues to a work lunch at Bellagreen. We got an outside table, with a delightful view of the "green" space at City Centre and lots of sunshine to enjoy the great fall weather we've had. I ordered the Salmon pasta, which had some pesto, micro greens, cheese, and a bunch of small veggie accoutrements. I thought the dish was well put together, it felt light and robust, the salmon was great quality and deliciously cooked (I ordered it medium), I was just surprised by the sheer amount of food in this dish. I know they focus on healthy foods but I had about half the pasta left by the time I was done, and I'm not one to let food go to waste! I would definitely order this again!
