1. Bacon Cheeseburger & Fries 2. PUMPKIN CARBONARA PASTA w/BLACKENED SALMON
Leah E.

We tried this BellaGreen-Heights location on a Sunday for a late lunch. Going in October, they had a small special side menu that consisted of dishes made with pumpkin! I love a carbonara pasta so decided to try the pumpkin carbonara pasta and added blackened salmon. I'm so glad that I tried this unique take on carbonara pasta, it was really delicious and a very nice touch for the fall season. My meal came out fresh and hot with a nice presentation. The service here was also attentive, we ordered at the counter and the gentlemen there were very courteous and professional. We enjoyed our meal on the cute outdoor patio. The parking lot at this location is very small, typical for most establishments in the area. We will definitely be back to Bella Green- Heights.

Located in the heights. Limited parking. Close to other store and restaurants. Has good amount of seats and tables inside and outside. Service was quick and easy. Food was good and decently priced. No complaints minus the limited parking.

always go for the Fig n Pig and it's always good but this last time I went I also ordered a burger and the hempanadas to go. Guy at the front was supposed to ask if they had something in the kitchen for us so we can know if we can order what we wanted and he never came back. then ordered and waited over 30 minutes with my number at a table right by the front and my bf went to ask about our food and after he waited there an additional 10 minutes and whole time our food had been ready but no one paid any mind. in the car I reach for an empanada and without looking I bite into it and it's hard as a rock. literally burnt black and solid lmao like why would you serve me that? parking is also a joke

Chicken Caesar wrap & fries

Got our meal with door dash. I was in the mood for something "clean". This was a perfect option. The chicken Caesar wrap was great with lots of add on options. And the fries ... the fries were wonderful!! Some of the best fries I've ever had!!

Wagyu Burger

Quick pop in here at Bellagreen. First time and won't be the last. The food was high quality and hot. Some items did take a while to come to our table, but the quality was worth it. My plate was spotless when I left. I wish this location was a tad bigger and offered more dining in. But it did feel a little cramped. Overall though, 8/10 will do it again!

Spicy Shrimp Pasta
Avery L.

Bellagreen is a great place to grab a healthy bite. We always enjoy coming by even though parking can be somewhat of a hassle. I recommend parking in the lot across the street. This is a restaurant where you place your order at the front and then there is self seating. Many people come here for a quiet place to grab a bite and use their laptops. Typically, their service is pretty quick. Last time I got the Fig & Pig pizza and it was very tasty. It's a brick oven pizza with prosciutto, basil, and goat cheese, with fig jam instead of pizza sauce. Perfect combination of sweet and savory. My boyfriend got the spicy shrimp pasta, which had a creamy Cajun flavor and really enjoyed it, but he did not initially realize that the tails were left on the shrimp, so beware of that before you take a bite!

Food portions are plentiful Service was good. The burger was cool as I asked, the buns are soft and buttery. Sweet potato fries had good flavor but a tad over cooked Chicken curry salad was very good but tasted nothing like chicken curry...a little miss leading. Very health food options

Oh Kale Yeah Salad, added chicken and goat cheese
Pamela Z.

Good quality food, fast service, but expensive if you want to veer off the standard menu. For example, my $12 salad ended up being a $20 salad after adding chicken and goat cheese.

I've only tried the Pepperoni Madness and Fancy Backpacker. The crust is perfectly thin and the toppings pair well together. I would also recommend adding pepperoni to the Fancy Backpacker. Gypsy Poet is always consistent with the taste and service, you can always expect a good experience in both aspects. They definitely lean into the healthy food concept, even having large windows where you can see all the fresh produce in their refrigerated storage area. The restaurant itself is nice. There's a decent amount of indoor seating, along with an outdoor seating area that's great when it's not the middle of a Houston summer. The MKT Center is also a nice shopping area, so it's a convenient place to grab lunch if you're already nearby. The service was just okay. The employees weren't particularly friendly, but they did their jobs. When I was ordering, they barely looked up at me. They seemed pretty overwhelmed with all the online and delivery orders coming in, even though there wasn't really a line in the restaurant. It looked like the lunch rush was just getting started, so I can imagine it gets pretty hectic during peak hours. As for the food, it's fine. Nothing particularly amazing, but nothing bad either. It definitely tastes like health-conscious food, which is probably exactly what most people are looking for when they come here. There are plenty of options for people trying to eat low-carb or watch their calorie intake. Overall, it's a perfectly fine Sweetgreen. The food is okay, the atmosphere is nice, and the service gets the job done. If you're looking for a healthier lunch option in the Heights, it's not a bad choice. Just don't expect anything particularly special.

For the appetizer, we ordered the Crispy Fried Oysters & Brussels, and I got the redfish for my entrée. The Brussels sprouts were flash-fried perfectly, and I loved the sweetness of the chili honey glaze. The oysters had a nice crispy coating, but I found them to be a little bland. The redfish, though, was absolutely the star of the meal. I cleaned my plate. It was served with Hoppin' John and a lemon butter sauce. I had never heard of Hoppin' John before, but it's essentially a Southern rice-and-bean dish, and paired with that lemon butter, it was so flavorful. It complemented the fish perfectly.
