I came here to meet a friend just for a mid-day snack and it's really nice! I ordered their new power-up smoothie and my friend got an aqai bowl. It's counter service so we ordered first then found a place to sit while we waited for the food. Everything was made fresh, which was nice to know. The place was quiet and empty at 4PM but people started showing up to order around 5PM. I really enjoyed the smoothie and the staff are friendly and provide great service, bringing out the food and asking if we need anything else. The restaurant is clean and there's no tables left dirty for long periods of time if a guest was sitting there. I'd definitely come back at a later time for lunch or dinner cause I think this would be a great sunday brunch place to enjoy with friends. read more

Everything was all bagged up & ready when I arrived and just as I ordered. A very filling meal without the guilt or breaking the bank! This location is quite consistent whenever I order here in regards to both food and drink. The parking is shared amongst a handful of other establishments but still easy to find. With carry out only spots, it makes it easier for those who want to do a quick grab and go too. The staff are typically on it once you enter and orders are prepared fresh right away. I've been several times to dine in and to-go. They offer protein bowls that are mainly rice or veggie centric topped with your choice of protein, salad bowls with the same idea, acai bowls, fruit or veggie based juices and shakes, sandwiches, and some more. The protein bowls can be hit or miss at times depending on what toppings you choose and how well the kitchen cooks it. I usually like my protein bowls with added egg and extra sauce for additional flavor, but that makes the bowl more expensive than it already is. Filling and satisfying though! The salad bowls are very similar as the base is the only thing that changes for me, so nothing out of the ordinary. It is fresh greens but not the type of fresh you expect from a salad only place. Their acai bowls though, are definitely my number one item I get here. The base is so smooth and not icy/chunky compared to other places. It is also loaded with plenty of fruit and the bowl is filled up well. The smoothies and shakes are also decent with portion size and taste. Having said I've done both dine in and takeout many times at this Original ChopShop location, I find their protein bowls to be good even after reheating them as needed. I recommend their shrimp/steak for protein as well as their Thai coconut and green curry sauces (though not authentic Thai). It wants to give off the vibe of healthy food but if you look at the calorie Contant for everything it's quite high. They have wooden chairs that are not very comfortable and meant for you to leave quickly. The breakfast item was tasty and filling, but could easily split into two or three servings.
