Friendly staff. Really wants me to root and support them for their success I ordered the three taco plate. Delicious food. Their tortillas are excellent Price is on the higher end, I get it though being right in the thick of downtown/midtown When I visited, there was a marijuana smell coming through the vents due to the smoke shop next door. They felt really bad and apologized (for something that was at no fault of their own) Sweet people, great tacos

What an unexpected surprise. This little mom-run restaurant is right down the street from work. If you can get past the location, the food is worthy. The sirloin taco was served on a tasty flour tortilla. About a quarter pound of chopped sirloin is topped with fresh cilantro and onions. The meat is well-seasoned and seared to lock in its moisture. The accompanying salsas are perfect. The birria tacos were stuffed and so flavorful. I'm not a connoisseur of them, but of the 4 places I've had birria, this is my favorite. Anyone who is put off by $3.99 quality tacos needs to check their grocery bill next visit. Support local and try them out.

The food and staff were both exceptional. I had the lunch special and chicken empanada. The lunch special was a taco, a burrito and chips with a side of queso. The taco and burrito were so good I got a second order ‍. I don't eat queso so I gave that to my homie who said it was great. I didn't like the chicken empanada but my friend said it was his favorite thing out of his order of tacos and a chicken empanada. The complementary chips with red and green salsa were also wonderful. Not sure if they offer them with takeout orders but they would be worth eating inside for me.

This little place is definitely a mom and pop shop. Mom was cooking and the son was helping. It was a slow morning and it wasn't too busy but you could tell the son was fumbling around a little as he was trying to help. The food was great and well presented. I'm used to tacos on a paper plate with some hot sauce next to a taco truck. This was just as good but in a better way. Stop by and show this place some H town love

The nice mural, didn't want to include the couple eating.

One thing--it may be an anomaly, but our tacos took a long time (30+ minutes) to be ready. It's probably a little on me because I totally forgot it was Cinco de Mayo, but just FYI. Got two steak tacos, a grande steak, quesadilla, a side of chips that came with a variety of house sauces, and ended with the churros. To start, the tacos were simple being topped with onions and cilantro, and coming on corn tortillas. The quesadilla was made with a generous filling of steak and cheese. Lastly, one of my favorite parts of the meal was getting to try all the different house salsas that they had. As expected, the restaurant was packed as it was Cinco de Mayo and taco Tuesday. It was a fun, busy environment, every table was filled inside and outside seating. Definitely a great spot to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in the heart of the city!

Food comes out immediately but there is no seating so be ready to eat outside/in your car. Definitely recommend the plato especial for best value. This plate is definitely enough for 2-3 to share. One of my friends took me here and we all got to try a lot of stuff. We ordered: Horchata (small for $3.49), Quesadillas with beef, Quesadillas with chicharron, Gorditas with beef, and Gorditas with chicharron. I don't like cinnamon but the horchata was addicting and it paired so well with the food. My friend got their Melon Agua Fresca and he said it was really refreshing as well. The gorditas were stuffed and they were so delicious, the cheese was melting and the bread was warm and not dry. The Quesadillas were my favorite. You put both the red sauce and the green sauce on it, a lot of lime juice, and it's perfect. I forgot to order cilantro on mine but they do give you it at no extra cost. The prices are so cheap and you get so much food. Everything is around $3 and it will fill you up. Each of us totaled out to be about $10-15 per person and we were stuffed. I would definitely come back here over and over again! My friend said the only bad thing about this place is when you order to go, they won't give you a lot (no lime, no hot sauces, less meat, etc.) so definitely get dine-in.

There's a parking lot, but we went on the weekend, and while the interior didn't look overly full, it was somewhat difficult to find a parking spot. The restaurant itself is clean. Everything is pretty much green and white. There's covered patio seating. You order from a window and there's a large menu printed nearby The menu offers all sorts of tacos, meats, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, quesabirras, sides, and even kids meals. You can get beer, margaritas, and non-alcoholic drinks. There's also a breakfast menu The food was good, and it didn't take too long to come out. My main issue was the service. The individual taking orders seemed to have a bit of an attitude and just seemed "over it." Furthermore, we mentioned having a queso coupon and when we were given the total I placed my card on the reader and I was told that I did it too fast and the queso wasn't taken off. The odd thing was, we walked away and realized that they didn't add the queso and the coupon was for free queso so they could have just rung up an additional queso. This individual had the vibe of eye rolling everything, and it honestly left a bad taste in my mouth Some tips: You can order online to avoid any wait. Just go up to the pick-up window when it's supposed to be ready for a painless interaction There's a little bar area where you can get pre-packaged (to-go) salsas, pickled onions, limes, etc etc etc. the salsas are tomatillo, habanero, and jalapeño (I believe) You can order margaritas to go, which we did! Cheers!!
