great food. good to have nice gluten free options. nice patio. highly recommend the hempanadas.

Our family eats at these restaurants often and I have the Thanx app as well - it's very worthwhile for discounts and earning money off. Haven't been to this location in a couple of months and it's great that they worked out the parking situation with the church and fixed the parking lot! I had the new seasonal 44 Farms burger and it was great! I had it medium well and it was perfect and still juicy and flavorful. Wife had the new summer salad and she loved it. Also tried the new GF key lime pie and it was very tasty! AND - the service was friendly and efficient, a real positive differential! I have still not tried their brunch stuff but will be doing so soon! I do agree about the dumpster - kinda icky this time of year! Well done though folks, we will be back! read more

Second time to visit. First time for brunch. Caramel latte was really good. Came with a chocolate covered spoon. It is obvious that all of the ingredients are very fresh as you taste it in every bite. read more

Fried goat cheese salad and turkey burger are amazing here! Never disappointed. Plus it's always great service and friendly staff

Visited on a Sunday at 130pm. Chose the restaurant because we were in the area, and were drawn to the outdoor seating and the promise of fresh, lighter food. I was hoping from reviews that it would be plant-based/vegan friendly. Pros- 1. As promised, the outdoor seating was wonderful and made for a lovely brunch spot. The restaurant was decorated with dark wood, green plants, and had an airy feel. 2. Liked the variety of herbal iced teas, though my friend was disappointed that there was no sweet tea. 3. All of the salsas were superb, loved the fresh and tangy green sauce that came with my tacos, it should be on everything. Overall, flavors were on point and everything was cooked well. 4. The counter service was very enthusiastic and friendly, I made a mistake while ordering and they were very gracious and worked with me. Cons. 1. Why do I have to wait in line to order? I don't see how this added to my experience. If I have to pay at or above $20 for a meal, I would like table service. I'm sure their are exceptions to this rule, but this place was not one of them. There were only two parties ahead of us, but they were large and we had a toddler that was melting down in line while waiting 10 minutes to order food. The lay out directs you to stand in line, so there didn't seem to be a clear option for members of our party to sit while someone else ordered. I cannot imagine taking elderly relatives, and/or young children, and requiring them to wait in line for a "nice" brunch. 2. We came around brunch time, and there were brunch menus in a cubby when we stood in line, but lunch menus were randomly mixed in with them. We had never been before, and since we didn't have anyone to discuss the menu with, we weren't sure if we should be ordering from one menu or the other- or both. So, we chose the brunch menu. Turns out, judging by what other people ordered, we could have chosen either. 3. Cannot speak for the lunch menu, but the brunch menu had no vegan entree options. I requested no eggs or cheese on my tacos, and this made them vegan. So, I was then served three tortillas, with a tiny smear of beans and a sprinkle of potatoes. So, they left off the omnivore ingredients, as requested, but didn't change the portion of ingredients of anything else, but I still got to pay $13 dollars for it. This is the kind of thing I would expect from a diner or fast food restaurant, but not what I was expecting from this establishment. I feel like I am being kind of harsh with my criticism, but I had such great food on my visit to Houston, I was expecting better. I could see coming here by myself for a lunch, but probably not for anything else. read more

First meal after arriving in Houston and we really enjoyed! The vibe of this restaurant is awesome. Loved having counter service with affordable prices, paired with the ambiance of a sit down restaurant. The vegetarian tacos were so tasty and the service was quick. Definitely recommend it, especially for vegetarians. read more

I am not sure what I got in my to-go order. I placed a favor order for a roasted chicken sandwich and a chicken pasta - the food was terrible. The sandwich had this huge glob of cheese (see pic) Pasta was watery and had stringy pieces of chicken with a tomato sauce. The sandwich was sloppily prepared. I get nervous when I can't tell what I'm eating. Is this chicken or what? This place use to be Ruggles and now it has a new name. Definitely a never order again on my list. read more

I cannot say enough good things about the catering and Piper (the catering coordinator) at Bellagreen. My wedding was catered by them. I already knew I liked the food since I'd dined in the restaurant before. The food was excellent and many guests commented to me how delicious everything was! (Hempenadas & shrimp pasta were biggest hits). The best part of the catering was how sweet, helpful, and easy to work with Piper was. She is responsive & even offered some recommendations when I asked. She went over and beyond to make the food special & the presentation of the food was beautiful. After a few conversations and emails with Piper about the plans for the food, I had a feeling the food and presentation would be nice, but when I saw the presentation and tasted everything - it exceeded my expectations! Highly recommend. read more

I'm new to touch and got the Blackened Shrimp Salad to try it. Probably my new favorite salad I've ever had.

Worst place for a burger. Dry, over cooked unseasoned and overpriced for such a terrible burger. Won't be trying it again

Had brunch at Bella Green - Heights today. This was my first time to eat there. My mother-in-law and I had the chicken and waffles and my wife had the shrimp and cauliflower grits. Both dishes were delicious but I will say the chicken and waffles was the best I've ever had. That's a huge comment since that's one of my favorite dishes and I've had it many times elsewhere. We will be back! read more

Brought my wife and daughter here for lunch and it did not disappoint! The burger: 10/10. The shrimp tacos: 10/10. Tomato soup: Absolutely delicious. Will definitely be coming back with the boys. It's a perfect balance between earthy and healthy food that still has a great taste. read more

I decided to try this place for the first time yesterday and the lady who checked me out gave me a warm welcome and help suggested some of the popular items. I like how Their menu is gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian options are color coordinated. I recently visited Ruggles Green in Sugar Land and it was very good. I had the goat cheese salad and the tomato soup (mmmmmm....). The service was good and fast. Well, tonight, the girls suggested we go to the one in the Heights as we were just at Stages Repertory Theater. Ok, twice in a week. I order the turkey burger. Mistake! First, it took forever to get. The other four people were just about finished with their dinner before I got mine, and I ordered second! Now for the burger itself. It was dry and flavorless. I don't think they seasoned it at all. Back to Guru Burgers for me! read more

We were a party of four who finally had an opportunity to get together and we were really looking forward to lunch. The staff at this restaurant (4 people working the front and not busy) ruined this and we are never going back. We paid and gave a very nice tip - which you do before you get your food. 1. One person in our party ordered bacon and got no bacon, but sausage instead. We did not complain. Her meal was delivered long before any one else's. 2. The next meal was delivered and we urged the two who had meals to go ahead and eat. 3. The third party got his meal. 4. We waited and waited and the four people are still standing around the register and talking among themselves. 5. One of our party got up and asked very politely if our other meal would be coming soon and the four servers/cashier were sure we had not ordered anything else. We explained we had and sure enough they finally figured out that indeed we had paid for and were missing a meal. 6. We were hosting others and we went way out of our way to be sure to be super nice - and the staff were CLEARLY angry that we had asked for our meal. Afterwards the waitress slung the meal over one of our party and dumped it on the table. Then two of the staff stood and fretted and glared at us ....I felt like they thought we were trying to steal food. It was awful. Not one apology or even a vague concern that they had done a poor job. 7. Finally, none of the four were wearing a mask - even the waitress who was "slinging" the food. And when I say "slinging.." read more

If I was just rating the franchise, food is amazing! That being said this location is getting 2 stars. Not only is the staff impersonal and almost downright rude to customers when you walk in to eat there. They do not care about the presentation or quality of their food. I ordered the fig and pig pizza on gluten free crust. It's drowning in fig jam to the point you can't pick up a piece without it dripping everywhere. Almost makes it unenjoyable because it's so over powering. All ingredients are in the very small center of the crust so the customer is basically having to make their own pizza (not what we're paying for). Had to reheat it (not the end of the world as I had it delivered this time). Will not stop me from enjoying Bellagreen in the future. I will just go out of my way to a different location - aka the one on W. Alabama; Friendly and inviting atmosphere. They always make sure the customer enjoys their food and experience! read more

This spot is a go-to for me! I've never had a bad experience. The food and service are always really great. Except for today. I ordered the turkey lettuce wrap, which is a common menu item that I enjoy. If you like shredded carrots, black beans and iceberg, this is the dish for you. There was maybe a total of 2 oz of Turkey, a ton of iceberg and about 5-6 oz of carrot. There was twice as much black bean/corn relish than turkey. I'm so disappointed... I understand that the pandemic and limited seating has restaurants pinching pennies, but cutting corners causes loyal patrons to question visiting again. I paid $10 for iceberg lettuce and shredded carrots... not worth it. read more

We wanted to eat something healthy and cheap after a crazy night and found this gem in H town! The food was fireeeee we all gave it a 10 hands down. I love the food there. I always order the atlantic salmon salad without the chipotle sauce and add a honey goat cheese medallion. The staff gets this order WRONG 95% of the time. Well Cultivare was an 1 hour and 45 minute wait, soooooo we headed over to Ruggles Green on a Friday night. Zero wait and glad we made the switch! Lots of parking, easy breezy! Walk in, pick up a menu, figure out what you want (or ask whats good) and order at the counter. Take your number and grab a seat. The food will be brought out to you. I LOVE the Honey Fried Goat Cheese Arugula Salad! Delish!! Their sweet potato fries are really good too! Party of 6 and everyone loved their meal! Oh, and they have a children's menu! I took the Bella Berry Salad and Lemon Poppyseed Cheesecake to-go. I tried the salad at the City Centre Location and loved the raspberry dressing and blackberries in the salad. It's a nice mix of sweet (fruit and dressing) and salty (pistachios). There's plenty of arugula, blackberries and strawberries. It's a perfect bite once you get the arugula, dressing, berries and pistachios in your mouth. The mouthful without the nuts makes you want to add salt. The blackberries are currently very large and juicy. The cucumber ribbons weren't as fresh and crisp as I expected but that may be because of the vegetable. I was pleasantly surprised the Lemon Poppyseed Cheesecake tasted really unique and creamy. It had a hint of lemon and tons of poppyseeds. The coconut crust was great in the first few bites then started to overwhelm the flavor once I reached the crust. It came with sliced strawberries and a condiment container of whipped cream. The parking is a little limited if you park on Studewood. The only way I could get out of the parking lot was by reversing within the lot (only possible because it wasn't full) and driving out. There's about 8-10 spaces, and the only way I saw any one drive out was by reversing into the street. From the reviews, there may be a shared parking lot with a church on 11th Street. The interior is warm and cozy looking. It reminds me of a bar in the fall because of the tan and brown color scheme and warm woods. It may also be because it was raining outside and the interior lights are warm instead of bright. I really liked the high table along the wall. There's a patio area with an outdoor deck feel near the entrance. read more
