She asked tons of questions beforehand and had great recommendation and feedback before she got started. I moved to Austin eight years ago, and went to several stylist, but was never quite satisified until a friend recommended her. Overall, she is very efficient and experienced. Mie has been doing my nails at Bella Salon for about 3-4 years now. My nails always look gorgeous when I leave. Mie always has creative ideas for my nails, whether its a new color or a little glitter. I never knew how much I liked glitter until Mie persuaded me to try a little! She also does beautiful nail art. Last time I visited her, she did a reverse French manicure with burgundy colored tips. The look beautiful and unusual - I've gotten so many compliments. And her manicures last a very long time. Almost two weeks later, the polish is still shiny without any chips. Raquel at Bella has been doing my hair for about 8 years now. She gives an awesome cut and style. My husband goes to her as well - she's the only hairstylist who knows how to deal with all his weird cowlicks. In the past year I've started coloring my hair. I showed Raquel some pictures and she managed to incorporate all of them for some long lasting highlights. She did such a great job that even 6 months later, when the color started to fade, my hair still looked great and I don't have a weird line between the color and my natural color. Keith really took the time to listen to what I struggled with and really studied the photos for the style I wanted to achieve. My daughter and I scheduled our wedding day hair and make up at Bella and had a practice run with Jessica, Samantha and Raquel several months ago. We loved the make up and the hair styles that perfectly complemented each other. We came to the salon yesterday morning with a group of 11. My daughter, the bride, eight bridesmaids, the groom's mom and me for hair and make up. Pricilla kept everything on schedule and each of the make up and hair artists were fantastic. Raquel did the bride's hair and Samantha did mine and it was exactly what we loved before. Jessica did both of our make up. My daughter and I along with the whole party left the salon less than 3 hours later each looking and feeling beautiful. Amazingly, through at least 15 hours of hugs and tears and an outdoor wedding in record near 90 degree heat (yes, in February) a sparkler exit, bus ride, and after party that lasted until 2:00 am, every one remained looking perfect. I cannot say enough great things about Jacque, she is a skin care goddess! I have very oily and acne prone skin (cyst and blackheads are my biggest problems) and since I've started seeing Jacque I've seen a major improvement in both! My skin has never looked so clear and glowy. She has been amazing at figuring out exactly what my skin needs for treatments (a combination of dermaplaning and peels) and filling in the gaps with my at home skin care. Bella Salon is one of the best hair salons I've been to. Raquel in particular is an incredible colorist and stylist and I cannot recommend her enough. She took me from a dark brown to rose gold to blue/green/lavender back to dark brown with minimal damage.
