I went to Holy Wild for a root touch-up and full color. Before my appointment, I had a FaceTime consultation with Nikki to confirm the plan. I've had root touch-ups for years with no problems, so I expected the same here. While my hair was being washed, I felt like something was off but nothing was said. A few days later, when I washed it at home, I noticed a large section in the back and pieces in the front were completely gone. The color also came out uneven. The owner apologized and refunded me, but I'm writing this to warn others that it may not be the best place for blondes or bleach services. Really disappointed with how much hair I lost. read more

I've been a client since July of last year and have always appreciated the work, often being flexible with scheduling and wait times. For my last appointment, I clearly explained what I wanted, but the final result didn't match that. I immediately brought it up, but my stylist brushed it off, saying I would "see the highlights in sunlight". When I got home, I noticed a very noticeable difference. I reached out via text a few days later, but didn't get a response for a week. After following up again, it was another week before I heard back. Over the next few weeks, I had hoped a proper solution would be offered to fix the color, especially considering the cost, but instead I was given more explanations without any offer to correct the mistake. I was offered only a gloss, which wouldn't have fixed the issue, so I chose not to spend more money to mask the problem. Overall, I felt this was unprofessional, particularly given my loyalty as a client and the amount I spent. I now have to pay elsewhere to fix the color, which was very disappointing read more

I had my hair done by Christina a month ago and I cannot sing her praises loud enough! :) I am very nervous when it comes to letting someone color my hair because I have had MULTIPLE horrible experiences so I'm usually sweating in the chair and will go years without letting someone touch my mane. But, eventually I get bored and seek out the help of a professional to come in and save the day and that's just what she did. I had various ideas on what I wanted and she consulted with me numerous times to make sure I was absolutely certain on what I wanted to achieve. She is super sweet, easy to talk to, and really cares about what she does. I highly recommend you schedule your appointment with her - she has a lot of experience with blonding which was a HUGE factor in my decision. I'll be seeing her later this year for a touch up to keep my style fresh. I also thought the salon itself was SO homey and the owner was very sweet and caring as well. Overall A+! read more

I did a google review and now I'm doing one on Yelp because Meagan T. is amazing. The first appointment I had with her I communicated the anxiety I feel when getting my hair cut because of past experiences and over a year later we still go through step by step on what I want done. I have the best conversations with her and even the days where I don't feel up for chatting she respects that and gives me a silent service. She gives the best head massages and the salon always looks clean! read more

I was so nervous to find a new hair stylist in Austin but Kymberly is absolutely amazing!! I was able to get an appointment quickly and she NAILED the look I was going for! She listened to every concern I had about going slightly darker while wanting to keep the brightness and it turned out better than anything I could have hoped for! My hair feels so healthy and soft which is not usually the case after getting highlights. I also love that the salon tries to use clean products wherever possible so I didn't experience a headache from all the chemicals like I've experienced at other salons. Tanya has quickly become the only stylist I would trust with my hair! At my first appointment, I wanted to do a full copper balayage on my un-colored brown hair. She was so careful not to damage my hair while still giving me the look I was going for. She takes a lot of care to listen and understand her clients, and then skillfully executing while paying attention to the needs of your individual hair. She is my go-to when I want to freshen up my look and leave her chair feeling my absolute best. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone! read more

History will show that I'm a salon hopper, always booking at a different salon or with a new stylist in hopes of finding someone that will make my hair dreams come true. I finally found my go to stylist when I met Nikki! Nikki hit the bullseye with my hair request a few months ago and is the first stylist I've booked more than once with since moving to the area. When I wanted something completely different at my second visit a few weeks ago, she nailed that too! Not only did I leave the salon looking great, Nikki gave me so many helpful tips to better care for my hair and recommended products that will keep my hair looking and feeling its best. This is truly the first time I've been able to replicate my salon hair at home, and even though I purchased products at the salon, I didn't feel pressured to buy more and I didn't come home with subpar products. I feel like my hair dreams aren't tooooo crazy, but having the support to care for my hair properly at home and to get help when something isn't working has been that missing link for me that keeps me coming back to Nikki. Holy Wild is such a beautiful, comfortable salon with a variety of products that didn't break the bank. I'm so relieved to have found my home salon and couldn't recommend these ladies more! read more

Kymberly did such a great job son my layers! I highly recommend coming to her she was so sweet !!

Tanya is amazing! When I first saw her, I wanted to transition from a high-maintenance (1x/month touch ups) blonde to a more natural cool blonde balayage. I came in with photos, but what I left the salon with was even better than my inspiration photos and was exactly what I wanted. By far the most talented stylist I've ever met! read more

Tanya has performed some serious unicorn magic on my hair. I first came to her for a minor color correction from a dye job that had me in tears. She squeezed me in right before I was heading out of the country for 2 weeks - not only did she fix my hair but she made it look AMAZING. She's incredibly intuitive and can tell what I want/need before I even think it! Sometimes I have trouble deciding if something it suited for me or not, sometimes I'm not sure if I'll like something when I leave the salon (lighting is always different, I'm not a magician with a roller brush either) but she just GETS it. I love that she knows my style better than I do. I went back to her for a full double process and haircut. Another notable master skill of Tanya's is that she can cut just as well as she colors - I've had a lot of trouble finding that in a stylist. The end product of my double process is like NOTHING I've ever had before. She did this wonderful, fall color melt that is downright pinterest worthy. Like seriously. I don't say that about my hair often. She's the only stylist I've ever had that took the time to 2 tone the middle and ends of my hair for a flawless color fade. Her eye for color, cuts and styles is true, raw talent. What she does, you cannot teach. She is constantly bettering her technique taking different classes, which I think it very admirable but she has an innate talent and knack for this job - she's who you want behind your chair. Trust me. read more

I've changed my hair so many times in the past few years. Colors, cuts, the works. Every time, Tanya knocks it out of the park. I always leave happy and my hair feels so healthy, even with the different changes. She's a coloring expert which is so hard to find. No chunky highlights, great blends and balayage, and color that looks naturally grown in. Seriously always look forward to going out after getting my hair done by Tanya! read more

I did the password recovery and signed onto Yelp for the first time in something like seven years, to tell you that Tanya is the BEST stylist I have ever met. I've recommended her to my mom, my sister, my best friend, and now to you. She's incredible when it comes to vision for my hair when I'm not sure what to do next, and she's never steered me wrong. She has true talent, vision, commitment to her craft, and super impressive work ethic. Though I live in California, I am from Austin and have had her highlight, cut, and do a few color corrections on my hair in Austin several times since 2016. When I'm not able to fly back home, I've visited a few places here in California for color, but they don't come close to creating what Tanya does when it comes to color while preserving the health and integrity of my hair. She's also super fun to chat to and always makes me feel welcome, appreciated, and comfortable. After Tanya does my hair, I'm walking out the door doing hair flips left and right. It says a lot that even a month after getting my cut and color done by Tanya, it still looks great. So grateful for you, Tanya! Hope to see you in Austin soon! XO read more

Tanya is seriously skilled! She is honest about the processes your hair will require to get to where you want to be. She works super well with examples you bring in. One of the most impressive qualities about Tanya is that she is fast! I don't have 4-5 hours to spend at the salon, so what she produces in under 3 hours is fabulous at no sacrifice to the quality of the color/cut. I get so many compliments on my hair now! read more

Tanya is incredible! She is excellent at what she does and it's clear right from the start how professional, passionate, and knowledgeable she is about hair. She's a great conversationalist, yet she keeps me involved throughout the process, so I know the finished result will come out looking great. And I've found I can trust any product recommendations she gives me because she backs up her recommendation with reliable information and from her having used the product personally. Tanya is a one of a kind hair stylist and there is no one else I would rather go to. She has a forever client in me. read more

Love Tanya and her work.
