I've had root touch-ups for years with no problems, so I expected the same here. While my hair was being washed, I felt like something was off but nothing was said. A few days later, when I washed it at home, I noticed a large section in the back and pieces in the front were completely gone. The color also came out uneven. I've been a client since July of last year and have always appreciated the work, often being flexible with scheduling and wait times. For my last appointment, I clearly explained what I wanted, but the final result didn't match that. I immediately brought it up, but my stylist brushed it off, saying I would "see the highlights in sunlight". When I got home, I noticed a very noticeable difference. I reached out via text a few days later, but didn't get a response for a week. After following up again, it was another week before I heard back. Over the next few weeks, I had hoped a proper solution would be offered to fix the color, especially considering the cost, but instead I was given more explanations without any offer to correct the mistake. I was offered only a gloss, which wouldn't have fixed the issue, so I chose not to spend more money to mask the problem. Tanya has performed some serious unicorn magic on my hair. I first came to her for a minor color correction from a dye job that had me in tears. She squeezed me in right before I was heading out of the country for 2 weeks - not only did she fix my hair but she made it look AMAZING. She's incredibly intuitive and can tell what I want/need before I even think it! Sometimes I have trouble deciding if something it suited for me or not, sometimes I'm not sure if I'll like something when I leave the salon (lighting is always different, I'm not a magician with a roller brush either) but she just GETS it.
