What I left with was a nightmare--my hair chopped drastically short, front above my jawline, sides straight, and nothing like the photos. When I pointed this out, she casually said it would "look like the pictures in 8 weeks." I was shocked and humiliated. During the haircut, she even told me twice not to cross my legs--something I've never experienced at any salon. I asked to switch stylists, and was told I'd have to pay extra, even though the issue was not my fault. Ruby then claimed that because I agreed to a graduation in the back--which she suggested--she had to ignore my other requests. I cried in my car on the way home, devastated. $160+tax for a ruined haircut and a traumatizing experience. I can only hope no one else has to go through this. Without exaggeration, this was the worst salon experience of my life.

Scruff's has been amazing the two times I've gone there. The atmosphere is inviting and the stylist are sociable. Abby is an artist. She knows what looks good for each other clients. Both times, I've received compliments from people. She takes her time, adjust the style on the fly and provide excellent quality in service. Tim also does a great job. My brother and father had their cuts done by him and they both had a very professional and classic look to their styles. I recently visited Scuffs for the first time and had my haircut by Richie. I usually went to the cheapest places or cut my own hair for convenience, but this experience was on another level. Richie gave me a professional haircut that looks great, and the hot towel press on my face and neck afterward was a nice touch. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch haircut experience!
