Less than 12 hours after having my nails done at Bella Nails they chipped and peeled worse than any manicure I've ever had. They have clearly changed their nail polish from quality polish like OPI to cheap worthless polish that sucks. This is a professional nail salon and they should be using the best topcoat ever to protect our nails from chipping and peeling too quickly. Who would go back for a manicure when the polish chips and peels the same day? If they were using a quality topcoat like 'Posh', their manicures would last well over a week. Don't even get me started on the waste of money getting a pedicure at this place is. They do zero massage, they hardly shape and file your nails, and they go through the pedicure as quickly as possible. You feel like you threw your money right into the garbage can because you're in and out of that pedicure chair in less than 15 minutes and that includes a polish. Since you don't get a massage or any quality work when paying for a pedicure, my suggestion is go elsewhere or bring your own nail polish and only ask for a "polish change" because paying for a pedicure at Bella Nails is basically the same process as just getting a polish change so why pay for the pedicure? They do this on purpose to drive you towards their very expensive pedicure. Back in the day they offered one pedicure like most places do and they took their time and gave you a quality massage but now they've gotten greedy so they basically give you only a polish change for a regular pedicure so that you pay for their "spa pedicure" which is way more expensive. The spa pedicure now is what the regular pedicure was for the first 20 years they were in business. So even our local small business nail salon has turned into a greedy, no integrity, low quality service. Also egregious, when you call and schedule an appointment with a certain nail tech, they like to think you don't know who, or what, you're looking at so they put you with anybody they want to - not the specific tech you requested when making the appointment. I literally had to call them out after scheduling an appointment with a specific nail tech and then upon arrival getting placed with somebody totally different. How messed up do you have to be to not give the client the tech they requested when making the appointment? You won't encounter that disgusting practice in any hair salon with a stylist or any other non-Asian nail salon. read more

got a gel pedicure for my bday yesterday am .. when I got home a few hours later I took my shoe and saw there was a huge bubble and it's already chipping off - I get gel pedicures every month, and this has never ever happened before I am highly upset while he was doing my pedicure. I noticed he wiped the bottom half of the polish off and redid it instead of redoing the whole entire nail. I live out of state so it's super annoying. Just had a pedicure. She was very friendly and nice at first. When she asked me if I wanted a spa pedicure ICE said no just a regular pedicure will be fine. That's when her attitude changed for some reason than 10 minutes later when she went to paint my toes, I looked at her and said oh you're already done? I said, did you even file my toenails because they're all crooked. She said yes, from where you're sitting they look different then where I'm sitting, and then she proceeded to hand me a nail file and tell me I can do it myself. Which I did now as I'm leaving and I'm looking down at my toenails. It looks like my child gave me a pedicure. That's the last time I will go there. read more

You would think that a customer that has been coming here for months would be treated in a respectable manner. I've been using the same person as well. I even went back to her after she came back from an extended leave. I should have stayed with the person I was going to in her absence. Today, I could see that the polish I've been using is now going on clumpy. It even had a air bubble in one. I stopped her so that she could see. She pretended not to see it and then became very defensive. She was very rude about it. I wasn't rude to her. I've been going to her and was always ok with the outcome so I don't understand all the hostility. She got up and left. Someone else had to finish my nails. On top of all that, no one came over to say anything. I've been getting my nails done every 2 to 3 weeks for many years. Some of the workers at these nail salons can be very rude when you point out flaws. This didn't really even seem to be her fault. It could have been the polish but of course, you can't say anything is wrong or they will get mad like they are paying you instead of you paying them. They also act like there is not a nail salon every block or so. They way she acted you would think she was 10 with a temper tantrum and the girl at the desk was no better. She said what do you want me to do about it. I wanted you to have better customer service but I guess that is too much to ask. I will take my business elsewhere as this place showed no care about it whatsoever. This is how much they value your business. They don't. Next time this happens at one of these salons, I am walking out as soon as it occurs without paying. I am sick of their disrepectful manner and bad attitude. P.S. Her name is Mindy. She has a horrible attitude. Even though, I haven't had a problem with how my nails turned out previously, you can see that she doesn't take well to you telling how you want your nails. Like any salon, it often depends who you get. But they have definitely gone down hill here. Went w my 13 year old today and her tech asked her TWICE if she wanted her brows waxed! She is 13! Way to make a teenager feel self conscious. And for the 2nd time now, they have given me a different color than what they were supposed to on my nails. I asked for the same color on toes and nails...I didn't realize until I got home and took my shoes off that they were not even close . And my toes were done very sloppy. And their prices have gone up so much. We live 25-30 min away so we won't be going there anymore. read more

This nail place is large and clean. It is next to my favorite pizza place. They have a very good selection of color choices. The staff is very nice and they give you socks when it is cold and you are getting a pedicure. Be prepared for the music is always skipping and it annoys me. WOW-Bella has changed and it's all for the better. Years ago I went to Bella and it was the usual run-of-the-mill nail salon in this area. Today I decided to see what it looked like and was pleasantly surprised to find an updated, modern, sleek salon. I did not have an appointment and was told there would be a 15 minute wait. In fact I waited less than 10 minutes. The technician gave her name as Kimberly. Like many of the technicians, she appears to be a little older which I equate to more experienced. I emphasized to her that I like my nails to be as thin as possible, the less acrylic the better. She said she would do the same and she did. Now days it is becoming difficult to get a simple acrylic fill with regular polish. She did a very good job and she did it quickly. I made an another appointment for 2 weeks from today and if each visit was like today's, I will continue doing that. read more

I am so dissapointed. After going here before Covid and once restrictions were lifted and really enjoying the experience, the last 3 times I went the manicure/pedicure was less then stellar. The first time, for my 50th I got a gel manicure and reg pedicure. I went to the store afterwards and my gel nail polishe came off one nail. I went back and they fixed it along with 3 other nails that were bubbled. Ok... simple mistake girl was new, I let it slide. Next time I went I got a regular mani pedi. This person was REALLY new and I knew he was not doing things in the right order, but I just grinned and went along my merry way. At closer look he didn't do my cuticles on my toes and there were spots on the tips that were not covered in polish. So I figure one more shot. I am going to the shore for the week, I will do a regular pedicure and gel manicure. I even said please don't give me someone new. They didn't but I went on Friday and by Sunday the gel was chipping. I fully recognize that I have small nail beds, but for the money, a gell should last more than 2 days. It has before. I called on Saturday when I go back and they were friendly (never said sorry, but friendly) and told me to come in the next day and to ask for the owner and they will fix it. By this point there is not a chip of gel left on my nails, so I decide let me just get a regular manicure. UMMMMMMMM - this did not happen. I sat down with my ridged nails (because that is what happens when your gel chips off) and he files to shape them and then goes to put polish on them. I was like wait are you not doing my cuticles? Are you not going to buff them. He speaks to the manager, I of course do not know what is said) and she says you just want regular polish right? I said yes, but I want a maniucure shouldn't he at least buff them? Again some words are exchanged, he buffs my nails and then says wash my hands like he is going to start polishing. I walked out. I can do that on my own. I would not be writing this if it was not 3 times in a row. The customer service is going down hill as is the quality of the work. Moved to the area almost two years ago, tried multiple salons before I found this one and haven't gone anywhere else since! Always busy which is a great sign, I book an appointment every 2 weeks and have never had a problem with waiting. I go to the same technician every time (Le Van) and I love her. She always makes sure I have a great experience and that I'm happy with my nails/wax. I've sent family members and friends here and they love it. Very friendly staff and well kept salon. Came on Mother's Day and they had a complimentary Mimosa Bar! Definitely recommend. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I wish they were open later ;) read more

This is the nicest nail salon I've ever been to. And it should be with those prices! If you're a city girl you will scoff at the prices and laugh to yourself. And you will either walk out or stick around out of sheer laziness. I did the latter. I'm glad I did. Unlike other nail salons, all of the ladies have excellent English. The girls really take pride in their work and customer service. There are plenty of pedicure chairs, a large non-imposing TV, and clean bathrooms. I got a simple french tip design for acrylics and they totally messed up the application. The nails were chunky and thick. They fell off after only 5 days. I have been here many times, and this is the first time this has happened, but it is completely unacceptable. My nail technician was not thorough at all. She only used about 1 minute total to paint my nails. I had to remind her to put on base coat, and she only did one coat of everything. It was sloppy, and the edges were not sealed at all. After drying for about 15 minutes under the fans, my big toe got messed up. When I mentioned it, the technician was rude, and this time, even less thorough. I let it dry for even longer. I got home at 5:00, and immediately noticed my nails had already chipped. All I did was sit in a car. I called the store, and was told they could do nothing, rudely. When I explained that I was only home for 2 days, they kept repeating that it was my fault, not theirs. Considering I paid $30 for a basic pedicure, this is ridiculous, and the service over the phone was awful. read more

Honestly I don't know where to begin. First my appointment was at 1:30 I didn't get worked on until 1:55 . I went in for a refill on my acrylic set and the First Lady to approach me said she didn't know how to do refills ... is she even certified to work there? Then I finally got worked on I waited 25 minutes for ONE lady to get a manicure done while my refills took under 15 minutes she asked if I wanted them shorter which I did but this dumbass really just fucked all my nails up!! I came in with coffin nails and left with demented uneven nails!!! I asked her to fix it twice but all she wanted to do was get on her phone sit on the massage chair and talk on the phone ... I got no hand massage which should be required of all places. Ultimately I left dissatisfied no one cared enough to ask what was wrong besides a nice older lady who was getting her nails done. Like another reviewer, I'm in the pedicure chair as I type. I've been sitting here getting a spa pedicure for 45 minutes and my nail tech hasn't even started painting my toes yet. Amazing massage, mud wrap, scrub, etc. I'm trying not to drool haha. Went to this salon 3 times and twice Michele did my nails. The first time that she did my nails, she criticized the way that my nails were done and asked me what salon did them previously. She did a fairly good job of my refill. The last time I visited, I had selected a color to have Dip Powder done. The color that I had selected was clear which I could not tell from the sample. I asked Michele if it would get darker, she said no. She said she could finish with a darker color. I asked if she could do French Manicure instead and she said she wasn't sure. i told her then not to do it but just to add a darker color. She then said she would try to do the French Manicure. Almost immediately she had a problem applying the white tips and kept re-dipping my tips. At that point it because very thick and she tried to sand them down but they became very uneven. She said that they didn't come right and wanted me to be happy with them. Because the lighting is so dim in the salon, I could not tell how bad they looked. I told her they looked ok. When I left and saw them in the natural light, I then noticed how bad and uneven they were. It looked as if an amateur had done them. I went back the next day to see her but she was not there. I was told to make an appointment and that Michele would fix them at no charge I went on my scheduled appointment and Michele was rude and asked me what I wanted. I explained that I was not happy and that I wanted her to do them over again in a solid color instead and she refused and walked away from me. I told her that she had lost a customer. She just turned her back and continued walking to the back of the salon. I will never go back to this salon. I have never been treated so rudely. I am actually sitting in the chair getting a spa pedicure as I type this review! This place is excellent. And by the steady stream of clients, it's also no secret. They really take their time and are thorough with every detail. The spa pedicure includes a massage with a good smelling scrub (the massage was at least 5 minutes for each leg) and then a cooling mask wrapped in hot towels.
