The staff was very rude and the clothes are very basic. I might as well have went to Walmart.

A new store that opened less than 6 months ago -- very cute collection that Rosana (who personally…read moreoversees the stores) says has been ordered from designers all over the world. She has spent a lot of time in CA and recently moved to NJ, where she says she found a demand for reasonably priced cute/pretty wear (clothes, shoes, jackets, purses, accessories - she has them all). I really liked several of the tops and dresses and ended up buying a nice hair band too.

I made an account with Yelp for the sole purpose of being able to review the Rosana store…read more While the store is very cute, the way I was treated was anything less then cute. Yesterday, (12/22/10) I recently saw two signs posted on the front windows for experienced retail sales associates. I currently have a job, but the prospect of working at a seemingly posh, cute little store was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. I walked in and took a look around. I loved the feel of the store and decided to ask for an application. First, Rosana (I'm assuming it was her) didn't great me upon walking into the store. I saw her and one of her employees glance over at me while I walked around. They continued to talk about store matters. Secondly, when I went to the front counter, I noticed that she was sewing something, so I figured that she would pause for a few seconds to ask me what I wanted. She didn't. I had to interrupt her to ask for an application. Third, before I could even finish my sentence of "I saw that you had a Help Wanted sign out front and I was wondering if I could have an application" she cut me off and said, "Nope, sorry. I'm not hiring. I'm full up." I was about to remind her of the signs when I noticed a microexpression of disgust on her face. I can only attest that she lied to me. I also believe she is size biased. While I am by no means obese, I am not a size 4 like the other two girls who worked there. She took not even a minute to get to know me and wrote me off. I guess it's her loss though because I am an exceptional worker with 4 years of experience in retail - exactly what both her help wanted signs asked for. Anyway, if you're interested in a cute store, by all means stop by and check out Rosana. But, if you are in any way not the typical Princeton crowd, if you are not a cookie-cutter version of her lackeys, if you are bigger then a size 8, then don't be too surprised if you aren't given as welcoming a warning as you deserve.
