If you want your brand-new car to come back looking like a used one, this is the place to go. My car was damaged by a dangling power line -- the roof paint was scraped, and the sunroof needed to be replaced. While the paint and sunroof work look decent, the condition my car was returned in was nothing short of embarrassing. Every window inside the vehicle, including the rearview mirror, was coated in a strange film or haze that wouldn't come off with normal cleaning. The clip for my sun visor was broken -- I went to move it, and the entire visor fell down. The in-car microphone was left disconnected, and some kind of glue, paint, or paste was smeared all on both the driver and passenger seats. On top of that, there were dirty handprints all over my tan headliner. When I complained, I was told to bring the vehicle back so they could clean up their mess. I reluctantly agreed. Upon pickup, I was told my car had gone through a quality check *and* a follow-up quality check by the manager. Based on what I saw, they must have a very different definition of "quality." The haze was still present on the windows -- an employee even admitted they had no idea what it was and that it was "extremely hard to get off." (Let's be real: you know what it is. You just don't want to say.) They did manage to clean the substance off my seats, and they reconnected the microphone and repaired the visor. However, the car was returned with more dirty fingerprints on the headliner, and a section of it wasn't even clipped in -- my husband had to fix it himself. After a couple of days driving it, I noticed that the rearview mirror mount was either scratched or had some kind of substance on it, too. Their attention to cleanliness and detail is extremely poor. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. The only reason I went there is because Bell Honda said they use this shop for repairs on new vehicles. I also had a warranty issue for a rattling window -- which they claimed they couldn't replicate. Would not recommend this shop. read more

I had some damage to my car and wanted to use Bell Honda for repairs. I spent weeks trying to make an appointment through the app, even sending in photos for an estimate I never received. That didn't work, and neither did leaving messages. One person on the phone told me it would take me three weeks to get the car in. After I _finally_ got an appointment. I showed up a few minutes before my appointment time and still had to wait for a half hour before I got the opportunity to wait even longer for an estimator. The long waits are worth keeping in mind if someone else is dropping you off, but it turns out I didn't need a ride back afterwards because this is just an appointment for the estimate, and I had to wait longer for them to even work on it and bring it back the following week. So you are basically making an appointment to make another appointment. They said the repair would take three days and I said I could pick it up in five since I'd be out of town. They called with an updated estimate after finding additional damage and I thought of going through insurance (since it was a not-at-fault accident) but they told me doing so would take an additional three weeks. They also didn't say the repair would take longer and I figured they had extra time. The day I was supposed to pick up my car I had to call multiple times to find out when it would be ready as they said they didn't get the parts until that day. They said it'd be ready by end of day but I still had to wait for 20 minutes to pick it up because the estimator had left for the day. They say they washed the car but apparently didn't dry it and I couldn't even get a good look at whether the repair was done well because the car was so dirty. I'll go elsewhere next time; could've gotten my car repaired (and washed AND dried so I could see the repair) about six times over with the amount of time this place took. read more

I wish Yelp allowed for a less than one star rating. After I had filed a claim with my insurance I was matched with this company to have my car repaired by them. I waited for a response from their estimate department for approximately two and a half weeks after went in for the repair estimate. I gave the estimator a call after the initial week had passed, and they stated they were having technical issues uploading the estimate to the shared estimate portal for my insurance to view. I asked for a copy of the estimate to be emailed to me, which did not happen. Same thing second week in, I called again, provided my contact information and email address to be contacted IN SOME WAY, and nobody bothered to reach out. The estimator in charge of my claim was Shawna Broome, and not once did she pick up the phone or shoot me an email to get things started or provide ANY information. Absolutely lousy and unprofessional. I don't consider this to be acceptable business practices. My car is now fixed, in less than two weeks from the time I went in for an estimate to the time I picked it up, by a smaller company that gave me every piece of information I asked about, kept me updated every step of the way, and even returned my car to me vacuumed and washed. Took my brand new car here after an accident and not only were they super efficient, the body work is pure perfection. The general manager himself did a walk around with me at pick up to make sure I was satisfied with the work. They also included a full detail of my car so I picked it up looking better than the day I bought it. Every interaction I had, from the front desk check in/pick up to going over the estimate was quick, easy and everyone was always so friendly. I chose this place because it was within Walking distance from the car rental. The service was good! I would return To this place that was recommended by my insurance USAA. A few hiccups Tho. They promised to put on a piece That fallen off, but was not part of the estimate. I think they just forgot. The other was a cracked windshield That I didn't know had cracked. As it was not showing when I turned in the vehicle. No problem as I do a lot. Of Freeway driving to work. I was pleased With their work. SUPER nice staff. I would recommend this center for future work. PS my wife named our Vehicle Riley and yes Riley gave us the estimate for the insurance company. So please check it out and see for yourself. This is not my first time dealing with Bell collision, and they have always delivered on time. Was rear ended a few weeks ago and brought my car here. Stephen was great with me, updated me throughout the repair and body work process and called at least 3 times to give me all the information and update needed. They gave me an eaten ate date of completion of September 6, but completed the car on August 27. Picked the car up and it's as good as new. Thanks guys. My car was taken there after my accident in Arizona and lookin at it and it having to be loaded onto a flatbed to be moved, it was a total loss. They said they couldn't look at it because we forgot to leave the key at the impound yard. With no wheels at all on one side they couldn't drive it, but anyway sent key. Then to look at it they needed a forklift and then when my calls didn't work and the insurance called "oh, we will have it in the shop in a day or two". The low rating is for some of the worse customer service I've ever experienced. Our insurance company sent us here to have repairs on a low speed fender bender with damage to the front right quarter panel. Getting in for the estimate was no problem but after the estimate it has become nearly impossible to contact the person that I dealt with for the estimate. Her name is Missy and she has no regard for her customers.I have emailed with no response, waited 3 days and then left voice mail, when no return call after 3 days I had to go to the office to see Missy and I had to wait 20 minutes. She just flippently said "yeah it takes time" and then turned and walked away. It's been 4.5 months and haven't heard from her so I'm going through the same chase I did before. Boom! ...out of nowhere "a Beemer driving Scottsdalian" backed out of the supermarket parking space into our 14 year old (pristine) Honda Accord EX. Fuming, s(he) jumped out of h(er/is) prestigious German SUV, certain that it wasn't h(is/er) fault. Nobody was hurt. Just a minor $2,000 fender bender (to our Accord) and who knows how much (not much in comparison) to the prestige-mobile ... When the repair was completed, the Honda came home all shiny and looking brand new, thanks to the total quality management philosophy of Bell Collision Center! I had passenger side damage to my car and used Bell Collision for the repairs. I had an issue after picking it up with the lock/unlock feature on the passenger side. The door would not respond to the key fob. When I contacted them 4 different times to voice my concerns they never returned my calls. I finally had to take it to the Subaru dealership and they said the sensor was disconnected when the body work was done and it wasn't connected back up. I was also turned off by the unprofessional attitude of the guy at the front. He was bad mouthing a customer on the phone and then told his associate he was not going to let the customer know that their car was ready until the next day. It's been 8 months since I took my car in, and to this day, I am still finding glass in my car! I took my car in because my sun roof blew out. I specifically said "I need all the glass cleaned up because I use this car with my two kids." There was even a charge for glass clean up. When I picked it up, I found a few pieces right away. I thought "one or two isn't too bad." But like I said, it's been 8 months and I'm still finding lots of glass in my car. They got the job done but that's about the only good thing. read more

I will never refer or take any of my vehicles back to Bell Collision Center PHX. After taking my car to them mid January for a front bumper repair, I picked up my vehicle almost 3 weeks later to then drive off for 30 minutes to work. Finally turned my vehicle off not even 5 minutes, to return to it not turning on. Had to contact AAA technician to come out and see the issue for I was left stranded due to my positvie and negative not being attached to my battery!!! THAT could have led to MAJOR electrical issues throughout my vehicle that would have ended up costing me thousands of dollars to repair if any of those charges touched surface of metal within my hood. Few weeks and a couple months went by when I realized my horn and alarm system NO LONGER WORKED!!!! I returned home to California after finishing my semester at school and took my car to MY HONDA where they discovered whomever replaced my bumper at BELL COLLISION CENTER back in January DAMAGED MY HORN by not only installing it back incorrectly, but they incorrectly PUT IT IN THE WRONG SPOT which led the clip to break!! It is now an additional over $300 repair for the part and labor. I contacted the manager TROY last friday 4/5 and he did not seem to care at all and had absolutely nothing to say!!! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT. My Honda Center in California even tried contacting him and upon several voicemails from myself, and my Advisor at MY Honda Center, TROY WOULD not longer answer our calls or call us back!!! If I can leave negative stars I WOULD! HORRIBLE Job, the advisor of my case was Blake Pleece and after asking for the names of the technicians whom worked on my vehicle those 3 weeks, he gave me a false name! Matt, the adjuster at Bell Collision, gave me two quotes. One for $1,395 and a second one for $895. I asked him to explain the difference. He said for $1,395 they would guarantee the work for a lifetime, including the paint. For $895 they would guarantee the work for 90 days and the paint would peel in two years. It has been 3 weeks , the ins has paid them and they haven't even started working on the jeep. when you call they have no idea of what is going on. Went down to speak with them and they are asking for the deductible. Had good luck with them the first time they did work for me. This time is totally unacceptable. Location is right across from a Honda Dealership (Bell Honda), and whilst I saw a lot of Hondas being worked on, I'm sure they work on other brands of cars too. Let me tell you what these guys did for me. I crashed my car a while back and called them for a estimate. An actual technician house to give me a visual estimate on the car. It was basically estimated as more to repair than the car was worth, and the technician was very honest about that. He asked me what I planned to do, and I mentioned I had put it up on craigslist for $2.5k. He said that he heard of roughly the same car in the same condition going for $3-3.5k, and that I was selling it short. He also sent me the official estimate anyways, just in case. Sure enough, I put it up for $3.5k and sold it in a week, for $1000 more than I would have otherwise. Bell Collision didn't get my business that day, but when the time comes I can't imagine going anyplace else. You guys rock. read more

This is strictly about customer service. I don't know what my car will look like, but getting it back...I was set to drop my car off on a Saturday like my rep, from Bell Honda Collision, told me to do. We called and they said No. They do not take drop-offs on Saturdays. OK. So, I get there on Monday and they said they do not have a appointment for me until Tuesday, but allow me to drop it off. He says it should be ready Friday. I go in on Thursday for a progress check. He says it should be finished that evening for pick up on Friday. I walk there to pick it up. He let's me know that I will not have my car now until Monday. I will no longer be on spring break and will no longer have a car to drive to work and home again! My car will not be ready until Monday because he dropped my tires off to be repaired and forgot about then. They are normally ready the next day he says, but today he cannot reach the guy and his shop is locked and closed. We are not sure if it is just today or permanently. Now another weekend with no car and then no means to my job Monday! There was no offer for their f up just sorry we forgot and they are closed (I guess what he also said without saying it tough luck, figure it out. We inconvenienced you and at least 1 other person since we did not make it to pick up your tires, and the other 3 tires, the next day like we should have!) AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! read more

This review is not for the actual repair as both my vehicles had been totaled. I've been fortunate (or unfortunate) to work with Bell Collision twice now over the past few years. I first selected Bell Collision because I have a Honda. While they are not Honda only, they are part of Bell Honda (just across the street) and they mainly handle Hondas. The insurance provided tow company lost my vehicle. They dropped it off at a different repair shop (who then tried to get the job). I think it was part of a scam they run. I was having difficulty to get the tow company to move my vehicle to the proper repair facility. Bell Collision offered (without me asking) to go pick it up themselves which they did very promptly. Once it arrived, Bell Collision got right to work. They immediately began their estimate and tear-down process. They have an online portal that shows the work that needs to be done and what stage of the repair the vehicle was in. The service reps called often to give updates and were very patient with me with all my questions. Unfortunately the vehicle repair costs put it into totaled range and they were not able to do the repair work. The insurance company tried to ding me quite a bit for on my pay out for "existing damage." I had bell collision look at that damage and give a quote for them to repair which was about 1/3 the cost. I submitted that quote to the insurance and they adjusted their payoff accordingly. A couple of years later my wife was in an accident and without question I sent the vehicle to Bell Collision. Once again it was considered a total. Both times everyone at Bell Collision was very friendly and willing to answer any questions that I had (even when I called back multiple times with a variety of questions). One of the vehicles I had a question on whether it was worth it to buy back the vehicle and repair it myself and they gave a great pros/cons of both situations. In the end, I took the total. They were not pushy on trying to get me to do the job with them. I can't vouch for the work they do, but having walked through the very impressive repair shop on a few occasions now, how can see the attention to detail they do in their repairs. read more

Not impressed with Bell Collision center, at 1st they were very kind and seemed trustworthy but once I received my car after it was "fixed". It was NOT fixed correctly and then as I proceeded to tell ROZ it wasn't fixed right she said that's how it's suppose to look. Well I went to the dealership and took a picture of how it's suppose to look and she gave me attitude, because she was caught in a LIE she said she was going to contact the insurance company I gave her a week and she NEVER called them. Lie #2! I write this because I saw the great reviews too and put my trust in them but just TRIPLE check the work they do and don't let them walk all over you. I got manager involved and he had them fix it right but I should've never have had to go there TWICE. Our 2016 Honda was involved in a side impact collision. We took it to Bell Collision. Before having it towed, I spoke to the manager to ensure they had the time to complete the job in a timely manner. Seven weeks later, we received our car back. During those seven weeks, they called me once. There was zero communication. After a couple of days, it had to go back due to several issues. One issue was the alignment, which they said they corrected. Needless to say, I had to take it somewhere else again to have to fixed correctly. If I could do it all over again, I would have selected a different shop and one that isn't a direct service repair shop through the insurance company. read more
