If I could give 0 stars I would. This place has the worst customer service and it outweighs the taste of the good food. We place an order for staff nurses at my job & when the food got delivered two sandwiches were missing. We called and requested to speak with the manager to let them know the sandwiches were missing. The owner argued he made some of the order & the food was there however there were 10 employees and 8 sandwiches. You do the math. They never offered to remake the food but continued to argue. I have been a faithful customer here but it's sad to say that was my last order with this awful place. Paying customers should always be treated respectfully and that is something this establishment lacks! read more

I was craving Thai but after reading the yelp reviews of the best in the area I decided to pass....instead based on the reviews I opted to try Beirut. Wow, amazing! I ordered the spinach and feta salad which I think weighted 5 pounds and the mixed shwarma (another 5 pounds) with rice and the lentil soup. The soup was tasty and the shwarma divine. The salad looks great but I'll admit I haven't even tried it yet. After the cup of soup and half the mixed shwarma (chicken and beef by the way) I am so full, I couldn't eat another bite. I got the Mix Grill Entree it was so good I began humming out loud. Both of the sauces were excellent. I ordered right from yelp through Eat24 for delivery to my hotel. It only took about 45 mins, food was hot, all the utensils and napkins were included. I know this review sounds ridiculous, but living on the East Side, which is FILLED with Middle Eastern restaurants, I have since attempted to find a Hummus & Toboulleh sandwich of the same calliber and so far three restaurants later, NONE even come close. This place is awesome. The owner is an incredibly nice guy and the food is amazing. Stopped by for lunch and the service was terrific, all our questions were answered, and the food was quick. We all ordered off the lunch special menu, two of us had chicken shawarma and the other had a lamb kebab. The special included hummus and garlic sauce with the absolute best bread, which the owner said they make there, salads, and rice along with our entree. They also gave us baklava on the house. The only thing cost us around $10 per person which was so great for the amount of food we received. This place is one of the best Mediterranean restaurants I've been to in the area. If I could give it negative stars I would. They have the worst customer service ever. I asked the server if it was possible to get half order of Mediterranean wings and he said that I could order full and then take to-go. I told him I am at a hotel and I don't have a microwave, I don't want a to-go, so is it possible to get half order? He said okay. After 30+ minutes of waiting he came with a full order of the wings. I told him that I had asked for half an order, he said the chef said they cannot make an half order, so I told him, he could have informed me. He argued with me again that I could take a to-go. To which I again told him that I am a hotel. So this time he answered me "oh so they don't allow to-gos?" I told him there is nothing there that I could use to heat the wings. Then people at other tables started looking at us and he said I will split the bill for you (which never happened). Worst part is the wings were awful! They were sour to no end, and over-seasoned with tons of garlic. They were so sour and tart that they burned my mouth and lips. Another server, the lady there, she came up to me to ask me if everything was okay and I told her how awful the wings were and all she said was the Mediterranean wings are supposed to be like that. I wasn't very hungry but I really hate wasting food so I ate the wings somehow and left in pain. I paid the full amount for the order as I ate it all even though it was awful (I wasn't looking for free food, all I wanted was my problems being addressed). In short, the restaurant just wants to get your money by hook or crook, be aware. They are okay to not provide good customer service or to serve disgusting food, all they care is about the money. Avoid them specially if you are traveling and need some peace of mind. read more
