Debate, Best lambs chops that rival if not better than auburn cafe. Debone chicken is epic. The best grape leaves I've ever had. The only complaint was the Mediterranean wings, not great kind of a ketchupy sauce but we used the fries that come with them to dip in the garlic sauce which was delicious. I came here to get some good Lebanese food since I live somewhere where it's not as common. I can't believe i haven't written a review of this place yet! That said, the service was amazing and the food was delightful. It's a very nice interior and there was almost no one there on a Wednesday night. I ordered the falafel sandwich with baba ganoush in it as well and it really hit the spot. The sandwich was huge! They also brought us a large pile of pita bread and both their regular and spicy garlic sauces. The pitas are a bit different, they're smaller and poofy rather than the flat larger pitas your normally find but they were very tasty. I'm a huge lover of garlic sauce and hadn't really tried their spicy one before, it had a nice kick but it's not going to tear me away from the regular. They noticed I was a huge fan of the garlic sauce so brought me a pile of it to go with the pitas and my sandwich. All in all a super friendly place with very tasty food! read more

We frequent this establishment for carryout at least once a week for their fattoush salads with grilled chicken and normally we love it. I have heard a lot of rumblings from people on Facebook about them not following a lot of their food safety protocol and individuals getting sick from their food. Last night that was my experience. I was completely fine the entire day with zero issues. 1-2 hours after consuming my salad I got hit with the absolute worst case of food poisoning I've ever had in my entire life. It's been almost 12 hours and I am absolutely depleted and miserable. I'm absolutely certain it was the food, based on symptoms and timing. Unfortunately, I will never dine here again and have had to report to the health department. read more

I used to frequent this place when they first opened but haven't been back since around 2021. I hate to say but the quality of food has drastically went down while the prices have increased. It's so upsetting because I really used to love shish gardens. I had their falafel sandwich with a side and drink and it cost $16 when in reality it shouldn't have been more than $12. The sandwich itself was dry and they were skimpy on the bread I asked for with my hummus (I asked for their bread but they only gave me pita). Very unfortunate since I used to love this place. Shish Gardens is hands down my go-to spot for Lebanese cuisine. Their pita is unbelievably fluffy and the toum (garlic) sauce is packed with flavor; easily the best in the tri-county area. Ordered two salads via DoorDash. Both salads were to come with chicken, one without tomato. Only one order of chicken came and both had tomato, but no cucumber. Called and they read the order back to us how it was suppose to be. No offer to rectify the situation other than, I can write your name down. They have a booth area for people waiting for carryouts. (I've never waited longer than 10 minutes for one) When you first order you do get bread. Be careful it's addicting as well as the garlic. You'll become the garlic/bread 5 minutes in. You can also ask for some to go! Favorite appetizers would be Fried Kibee, vegetarian grape leaves, or Lentil soup. Yes add a splash of lemon. The food is great, I have never had a bad meal here. Sometimes the carry out service is not so great, forgetting things like the fresh baked bread or getting the order wrong does happen. I've called and given them the information only for them to take my phone number and nothing is fixed or improved. The ambience is fine, sometimes the restaurant is packed, but the tables are clean and I've never noticed anything unpleasant. Forgetting the bread when I pay extra for it? That's my biggest complaint. I wish they would go back to the old recipe for the Mediterranean chicken wings... they were amazing and far better than any wings from the other stores around.
