They start you off with a roasted bread and garlic sauce starter. That was very tasty! Then the sides I chose were Baba ghanoush and a salad. They do deliver a LOT of food! The roasted bread wasn't like a nan, and it worked very well with the garlic sauce it came with, and with the baba ghanoush. My first time in and I had their lentil soup and falafel/ hummus/ tabouli sandwich which were amazing. The soup was thick, filling and hit the spot as I was feeling a little unwell. The sandwich had great flavor in every bite. I was offered a free cup of Arabic tea (hot) which had a great flavor straight up and I found it very soothing. I was the only diner this weeknight but multiple carry out customers picking up orders during my time. Decor is very nice, relaxing atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive. What a nice place for lunch. Everything was delicious and it was very quiet on a Sunday. Pita bread was freshly baked we had hummus, baba ganoush and fattoush of the combo appetizers. Then we opted for sandwiches. I got the shish kefta and my dad got the chicken shawarma. Both of us were pleased. We also got the Arabic tea kettle which was described as tasting like flower nectar and it was very nice as well. Service was also great and the price was very low. We went in and it took the gentleman like 10 min to see us sitting there. We were the only ones besides one other family. He came over and brought water right away which was nice. Then he brought the bread and garlic quickly after that. It was so hot in there! At the end of the meal the man stated they were having issues with the air conditioner. My daughter used the bathroom and there wasn't any toilet paper. The food we had was very good and the man that took care of us seemed very nice. It was just so hot in the place that the other family had to take shifts going to their car to cool off and get some air. Went in early lunch place was empty I guess I was the first person there. I did take out and I had a conversation with the owner very nice man and hood conversation. I didn't order too much some breaded and fried chicken wings and a fattoush salad and garlic sauce. Let's start with the garlic sauce it's nice and smooth great texture but I can't taste the garlic too much I still enjoyed it! The wings I'm thinking they come in breaded and they just fry them since this is not what they specialize in they were decent probably won't order again. My salad was really good and a great presentation the dressing I got it on the side and it was amazing! I love a good salad! The service and quality of food has been on the decline for years. This used to be our favorite middle eastern spot for dinner years ago. My favorite, the Schwarma combo has been getting smaller and smaller, with fattier chicken and lamb, often over cooked or tastes like it was cooked hours ago. The hummus can be runny. Also the customer service I don't think is rude, but they're not exactly friendly. When I asked specifically for extra bread (maybe their best offering) they said "bread comes with the dinner". The prices have gone up significantly (higher proportionate percentage than everyplace else). The deboned chicken is always burned now. The salad size has been cut in half. They're WAY too stingy with their bread & garlic sauce. The place is old, stale, and dirty. The restroom has been unclean. Etc. Etc. My boyfriend took me here since he has come here quite a few times and enjoys their food. This visit however was quite the disappointment for both of us. If it was possible to give a half-star I would. First, there were two young ladies standing behind the counter and there was one other couple dining in the restaurant. It took quite a few minutes for the server to come over to us and get our drink orders, and took a little long to get them to us. It wasn't very busy...I was watching one of the girls play on her cell phone. I ordered the schwarma combo and had a bowl of the lemon chicken rice soup. The BF got some hummus. The lamb came out burned, and the hummus honestly was not great. We had to go up and ask for the check since the server didn't come back by the table after our food was brought to us. Extreme Unique Mega Platter for 2 WOWED Well I can say shame on me for not trying this place being around for 10 plus years,,, I kinda never seen it from the road which sets back in a small strip center just across for Tim Hortons/Cold Stone place,,,hey that's where I first noticed it a few months ago,,,oh lucky me. This platter for 2 is $ 27 and will feed 4 people no problem. We had it with the Fattoush Salad and Hummus along with hot bread right of the brick over with a dish of Garlic Dip that I'm addicted too. This platter is the biggest most beautiful loaded dish I think I've ever seen, Kafta,Chicken Tawook,Beef Shish Kebob, Chicken Schwarma, Kibbie, Falafel, Pickles,Peppers,Onions and more. I probably forgot something oh well we were stuffed and had another full dinner the next day, The meats are charred to perfection loaded with flavor and not dry as other places. The menu is loaded with many meals I want to try really soon. The most unique deal downriver,,,why get 2 meals because just fora few dollars more you can enjoy this mega great platter of food. I picked up a carryout at lunchtime. I was the only one there. A guy came out from the back in sweatpants and a beat up tshirt. Did he just wake up? Is there a gym in the backroom? Albeit, he was very nice. The lettuce was gross and they forgot my rice. I called and he was very polite on the phone. So, the 3 star was a 2. I'm recently new to eating this type of food. What I've found is that some of it is great, and some not so much. This place falls squarely into the former category. I stopped in here recently with some of my coworkers, and the meal was amazing. The food is fantastic, it was my first time ever trying a chicken schwarma. You get soup, rice, a salad, hummos, pita bread and garlic spread all for under $10 on the lunch special. We had about 10 people, and were still served in a very short time. The place was quiet enough that we could enjoy our group conversation, but remained quite busy during the lunch rush. I'll definitely be coming back often. read more

TERRIBLE dining experience. HORRIBLE service. My mom, dad, sister and I went for a special occasion and arrived about 25 minutes before closing thinking they closed an hour later. The waitress wouldn't seat us. She said we could only order carry out. We were annoyed, but ordered our food. She got my dad's order wrong and put it in as an appetizer instead of a dinner. When we pointed this out to her, she said it was too late to fix it because they already started cooking it and the portion was larger than the dinner. I asked if she could still give him the soup and side that came with the dinner with it and she said "No" that she would have to charge full price for both. My sister and I ordered the "fresh squeezed" lemonades with a coupon, that retail on the menu for almost $4. My sister saw the waitress use a Countrytime powder and add water. It tasted terrible, like yellow water. I asked her how could they advertise it as fresh and she said they "ran out" of the fresh squeezed. We paid and got ready to leave and I told the waitress I was very unhappy with my experience and listed the reasons why. Instead of apologizing, she said "well, you didn't have to come here." I asked to talk to the owner. She tried to tell me the cook was the owner and thought better of it. I asked for his phone number and she gave me a card with the carryout number. I gave up and left. I've been here twice. The first time was fine. Quick service, good food, on par with other Arabic restaurants. The hummus was decent, the bread was great. Second time was less than stellar. Ordered the exact same thing, shish tawook sandwich, small lentil soup, small hummus. Soup was good, sandwich was ok, hummus tasted off and smelled spoiled. Gave back the hummus, didn't get charged for it. How do you screw up hummus? That's one of the main reasons to go! I won't be going back. I have had a carryout from this excellent Lebanese restaurant 5 of the past 7 days! Excellent middle-eastern food, and that is saying a lot considering this is not far from Dearborn. Everything is prepared with the utmost.....I dunno....love? Truly delicious! I have had their Shish Tawook, Chicken Ghallabah, Fatoush, Hummous, Carrot Juice, and Lentil Soup.. It was all first rate, but the prices were very affordable, especially considering the very generous portions. I live nearly 60 miles from this establishment, but pass by it frequently as I travel to Ohio a lot.
