Wow, I am actually surprised and impressed, this chicken kabob wrap is amazing delicious. Idk what this sauce is but it's not the traditional garlic paste...it's really good!! And to think I started to leave the parking lot and go somewhere else. I will definitely be back!! I would've gotten a pic but I ate too fast, maybe

Only the very best Ma n Pa Middle Eastern Food Downriver, has hundreds of regular customers. We've been a dozen plus times to eat inside the quaint dining room. They do a mega amount of take out business from open till close. Dad a Master Chef with decades of experience, Mom runs front of house and adding her special recipes. Ordered our favorite platter for 2 truly feed's 4 easy, lots of leftovers. The platter be Kafta, Chicken Tawook, Lamb Kabob, Chicken Breast on a bed of Rice with veggies. Also Hummus, Toum, Tahini, Fatoush Salad and Bread. She added a bowl of Lentils Soup for the Win. Such a sweet couple treating all customers like family. Great busy location on Ecorse road in Taylor, you really must try. LOVE this hidden gem, a must-go when I'm home for the holidays. Never had a bad meal and the owners are very kind.

Too much competition for them to operate this way. Chicken Shawarma was dry yet loaded with oil that seeped all the way through to the rice.

Loved the chicken shawarma! I've had it from other places, but you can't beat the texture and ratios of this one in my opinion.

My favorite Mediterranean food in the area hands down! Awesome food, awesome service! Best garlic…read moresauce. Plus spicy garlic sauce?!?! Debate, Best lambs chops that rival if not better than auburn cafe. Debone chicken is epic. The best grape leaves I've ever had. The only complaint was the Mediterranean wings, not great kind of a ketchupy sauce but we used the fries that come with them to dip in the garlic sauce which was delicious. The wings were cooked perfectly. All in all the owners are very kind and welcoming people. You can tell they are very proud of the food they serve.

I came here to get some good Lebanese food since I live somewhere where it's not as common. I…read morecan't believe i haven't written a review of this place yet! That said, the service was amazing and the food was delightful. It's a very nice interior and there was almost no one there on a Wednesday night. I ordered the falafel sandwich with baba ganoush in it as well and it really hit the spot. The sandwich was huge! They also brought us a large pile of pita bread and both their regular and spicy garlic sauces. The pitas are a bit different, they're smaller and poofy rather than the flat larger pitas your normally find but they were very tasty. I'm a huge lover of garlic sauce and hadn't really tried their spicy one before, it had a nice kick but it's not going to tear me away from the regular. They noticed I was a huge fan of the garlic sauce so brought me a pile of it to go with the pitas and my sandwich. All in all a super friendly place with very tasty food!

I'm surprised to see this place where it is. Will an Arabic restaurant work downriver? I hope so…read more First, the Malek's Kafta appetizer $14.83: It is meatballs sautéed with mushroom, onions and fresh tomato. This was the star of the show for me. It was absolutely delicious. The sauté with tomato, onion and mushroom is the same you'd get with lamb tongues (a personal favorite...if you know, you know) or other sauté type dishes at Lebanese style Arabic restaurants. It really pops flavor-wise with a nice balance of savory herbs and a bite of acidic zest from lemon juice. This is what I will come back for. The fattoush was also delicious. I really liked the light dressing. There was no fried bread in it, just some dry bits and not much of it. I really thought it was more like a standard Lebanese style salad. Fortunately, I loved it. I like salad a lot. The lamb shish kabob was tenderized! Finally, someone understands this critical detail! They were well sized, perfectly cooked medium and the flavor was nice. I'm giving them a perfect score because I really enjoyed everything I ordered and I think they're succeeding at what they intend to be. I like the dining room; it is clean, modern and casual. The service was great and friendly. Yes, I am coming back.

I ordered chicken shawarma with white meat only, and I got dark meat chunks on both dinners…read more I even called to speak to someone after verifying why I needed all whit meat. Not only was there datuk meat, but there was very little chicken for the price paid. Next time, if I decide to eat there again, I will eat inside so I can send it back to the kitchen.
