Definitely one of my favorite shawarmas in the area. The saj bread they use is some of the best I've had and the crisp is unreal. One thing that could be changed is the chicken, though. I don't like how they advertise the shawarma rotating spit in their logo but actually their chicken is grilled. It makes the chicken dry and thats where I'd say this restaurant could make one change to elevate their dish to the next level. read more

Such a great restaurant to eat shawarma at a great price! I got just the mixed shawarma sandwich, and it was really filling (for a 5'4" female) and so delicious - the meat and the sauce added so much flavor! If you ordered the sandwich on saj, I think it'll come with the garlic hummus, chili aioli, and some pickled peppers. The service was good, and the cashier was courteous. It's not very big inside, maybe 8 tables, but it seemed like most customers ordered take out, so there were a lot of available seating when I visited. read more

Less than a 5 minute drive from my house. I absolutely love this place. The chicken shawarma (spicy) was absolutely incredible and I can't say enough good things about the staff. I LOVED my food, and the rest of the family loved thei We had the Falafel Plate, crisp with lots of flavor. The Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, The Beef Shawarma and the loaded fries. There was so much food that the beef and the fries came home with us. My family loves Middle Eastern food and they said it's some of the best they've had. The interior has limited seating and the the silverware is plastic. The food however is top-notch, the people are top-notch, the prices are o n average with other restaurants. For some reason, the listing for the Middlebelt Rd location is missing from yelp... I ordered a falafel sandwich and lentil soup a couple nights ago. The lentil soup was super tangy. I'm not sure if they're putting some kind of dairy in it, or if they are heavy handed with the lemon. I only ate a couple bites as it wasnt very palatable. The falafel sandwich was just okay. Not enough tahini and zero garlic sauce which I didn't realize had to be ordered on the side. One employee was out front smoking when I arrived to pick up my order, while the other worked on my order inside. Not exactly the best advertisement for the shop. The place was completely empty around 630pm as well. Bummer. I'll go to one of the more well known spots next time I'm in town. read more

This place has amazing takeout! It's very authentic middle eastern food. We got: falafel platter, chicken shawarmas, baba ghannoush and stuffed grape leaves. The falafel was the perfect texture: soft on the inside and crispy on the outside without being burned on the outside. The grape leaves were so soft and silky. SC is a delightful gem hidden among other Mediterranean restaurants. My friend and I both had the chicken ShawarmaBaba Gh, and absolutely loved it! Only thing that isn't great about this restaurant is the parking lot. Food is a solid 10/10 and service is an 11/10. It was my first time ordering and the man who helped me was super helpful in picking out the size of salad I wanted, not like when you ask a place and they give you attitude because you asked a question lol. My food is wonderful I ordered a large fattoush salad and bowl of lentil soup. Only thing I'd say about these two items is they have a very lemony taste which is somewhat common in Mediterranean cuisine but it's not everybody's favorite. I also didn't know their food didn't come with pita bread since a lot of places do, and when I tried to add onto my order he told me it was on him this time and not to worry about it. So kind! The chicken shawarma and shish tawook meals with rice and hummus were absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly; flavorful and juicy. The house salad was very good as was the lentil soup. As a matter of preference, my hubby thought the soup would have been even tastier with a tad bit more salt. The shish tawook sandwich wrap had the perfect amount of filling and tasted great also. The garlic sauce is very balanced and one of the best we've had. It's creamy, light, and fluffy; the ideal consistency for dipping and for topping. It isn't pungent or overpowering and paired rather nicely with the herbs, spices, and seasonings that were incorporated into the food. This was our first experience with this establishment and overall, we could not be more pleased. The owner and staff were very personable, they made recommdations, and threw in a couple of extra menu items for us to try-on the house! How awesome is that?! We found the prices to be very reasonable. The restaurant offers carry-out, DoorDash delivery, and has quite a few tables for in-person dining. It was clean, tidy, and by all appearances, well-maintained. This is our new go-to place for mediterranean cuisine and we highly recommend it to others! read more
