Beautiful place and I love that they're open late, even on Sunday. The food was alright. It came out quickly. I think they need to master the crisping of beef bacon. The district sauce is kinda like Big Mac sauce. The buns weren't bad but also weren't delicious. We got a Reese's and chocolate milkshake. It was light, but not super chocolatey. Flavor was also a little weird for some reason.. malty maybe? I like malt, but that's just a heads up. A "district shake" is when you combine two flavors, but it doesn't say that on the menu. The fries and onion rings were kinda cold, but the Cajun seasoning on the fries was good. I like the flavor shots you can add to your fountain soda. After seeing the photos of the inside here on Yelp, figured it would be a bit more upscale for a nicer casual lunch. It has a fun Detroit vibe. Dining area was clean and loved their artwork. I had the Hot Chicken Wrap with their choice of tortilla (Tomato Basil). The flavor was pretty good. Their chicken is in a sauce rather than fried and dipped in a flavored batter. Ordering went pretty quick but I waited over 15 minutes for my burger and fries and I was one of two regular people in the restaurant. Whoever the "friends" were in the restaurant, they seemed to get their food and attention throughout this though. After ordering my food, I was offered to get a drink too. Food was so delicious, the service was kind of slow but it's okay it was worth the wait. I ordered the beef bacon cheese burger with their homemade sauce - I made it a combo and was so good. The burger was juicy and some great flavors. My guest had ordered cheese sticks which I was upset that they served us cheese sticks with the cheese out the stick. Wow, just wow! I literally could not wait to write a review for this place. I had never heard of it until a friend invited me out. It's a new looking, very bright, and clean establishment. The customer service was good. I always take note of staff who actually greet their customers and this place passed. They had a good selection of menu items to choose from. I wanted to keep it healthy so I opted for the grilled bbq chicken salad with homemade ranch and OMGOSH!!!!!!! It was so delicious! You have got to try this salad. That bbq chicken was so good! The salad and the veggies were so fresh. The portion size was so huge, it was definitely worth the money. As hungry as I was, I could only eat half of. I can't wait to eat the leftovers. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. The place wasn't too busy - 3-4 tables at any given time. I ordered (and loved) a buffalo chicken sandwich. I wish it had a bit more bleu cheese on it, but the chicken was SUPER tender, the outside was crispy, and the bread held up well. Buffalo sauce was spicy without being overwhelming. The onion rings were fantastic. I liked this one even better than the "Nashville NOT" I got when I visited the D.Heights location. Service was pretty good. It took a long time to get our food, but I'm sure that's because it was all freshly made. We weren't in a terrible rush. But I don't think I would visit on a workday lunch hour if I knew I might have to wait 25 minutes from ordering until a couple chicken sandwiches and french fries would be delivered. Amazing HALAL burgers and food. We were visiting the area on a long road trip and came across this place because they were open late. A quick phone call to confirm and they welcomed us over. District 12 is a solid choice for a quick meal in Dearborn. Parking is not all that convenient compared to other local restaurants so be prepared for a bit of a walk. I've tried the chicken tenders and chicken sliders in the past but most recently tried the chicken caesar wrap The sandwich was served warm with choice of wrap and house-made caesar dressing. It was pretty good, though I think the caesar dressing could use a bit more flavor. I opted to make it a combo and got the Cajun fries. The fries were served crispy, but not overly so (which I generally prefer) and the Cajun seasoning was evenly dusted. They are a bit on the pricey side compared to some of their local competitors, particularly for the chicken sandwiches, but some of their sauces have good flavor - I particularly enjoyed the lemon pepper on a prior visit. On the whole, I would recommend trying District 12 and particularly trying some of their sauces other than the Nashville hot variations. read more

I tried: * Falawsome pizza - a pita-based crust with smashed falafel on top, then topped with pickled red cabbage, pickled turnips, pickled red onion, pickles, feta and tahini. This pizza was so tasty! * Margherita pizza - this stole the show. It might seem like a classic Margherita pizza, but they drizzle some truffle oil on top which is the absolute game changer. * Reverse Margherita pizza - Flatbread with cheese, pesto and drizzled with red tomato sauce. Also very good, and the garlic was so prominent. * Cannolis - not a huge cannoli fan, but these were lighter than most I'd had in the past, and the filling was light and creamy as well. Overall the experience was great. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable of their items and very accommodating. They have a variety of options for vegetarians and vegans. The best part? I have given this place a few chances but each time I try I get more disappointed. I'm not a huge fan of their wraps but my kids did enjoy the sliders. By no means was this a paltry establishment, I appreciated the murals on the walls and presentation of the menu. However, my compatriot and I were not greeted with service of the highest amicability I must unfortunately say. I say this because we received our food after 3 others who came in and ordered at least 6 mins after us.
