Iceburg was always my go-to spot for a burger. Close to home and quick service. Recently, they switch to a smash burger type opposed to the patty that the menu advertises. Ok straight to the point: Cute establishment, friendly staff, food a miss, shakes and fries were ok. You can sit and eat in but don't expect water or silverware. Grilled chicken sandwich: was a bit dry no flavor Swiss cheese did not taste as it should. Turkey fold over: we did not like; again the cheese did not taste good. We ended up ordering a burger since we did not like the fold over, my husband said the burger was nothing special. All the waitress said was "awe sorry you did not like it", we were never offered a replacement so that was wasted money. Milkshake were ok, just something we could've gotten anywhere. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon on a recent trip. The place seems like it is trying to be a boba/coffee/restaurant. I walked in with no customers in the store, and the 3 employees sitting at tables on their phones I ordered the thunder fries - different, the chicken was chicken nuggets texture, a bit on the dry side, the rest of the meat was cut deli slices. All in all, not bad, but I wouldn't order it again. After trying Brazen Bagels at IceBurg, I went back to try the burgers. I ordered the IceBurger and sweet potato fries. I ordered by phone and was surprised at how quickly the order was ready - 10 minutes. I barely had time to get to the restaurant and in fact it was ready when I got there. The order was nicely packaged up in the nicest branded bag I've probably ever seen from a restaurant. Definite A+ on the packaging. The burger was exceptional - not over or undercooked - just right. It was ample and had a nice mix of flavors. The sweet potato fries were crispy and flavorful also. I will definitely be ordering from them again. A note about pricing. I was charged more than the prices on the online menu, which is understandable given inflation right now but just be aware. I was also not given a receipt so I'm not sure of the exact upcharge. I paid cash but you should also be aware that they charge extra if you pay with a credit card. read more

There are A LOT of burger joints in Dearborn now. It's going to be a difficult challenge without some uniqueness to stand out above the massive competition. I'm not sure where to start! Customer service was excellent! The owners were super friendly, warm and inviting. The burger I had was very good! It was fresh, the shredded lettuce was crisp, the pickles were delicious and the bun was also fresh. The burger was lightly seasoned and cooked to a perfect medium. The fries were lightly seasoned and cooked so they were crispy on the outside and fluffy in the inside. The cookie bomb dessert....it's a 10! Don't let the picture fool you, this is not a shareable dessert! The cookie is made from scratch and baked while you wait and then the warm delicious ooey-gooey- cookie is topped with two small scoops of your choice of ice cream, whipped cream and a chocolate drizzle. Every bite is like a bite of heaven! The owners also did a great job remodeling from the previous bar/restaurant. It's a bright and inviting atmosphere, and there are several tv's for sports viewing. Man am I glad I gave Iceburg a few more tries after my first visit... It's rare that I have experienced a new restaurant that made such extreme improvements so quickly. After my first visit was so... funky?, I decided it was not fair to review yet. They had only been open a few weeks and they deserved an opportunity to take in and implement customer feedback... and there were quite a few issues to work out which I won't share because they have more than just fixed them, they've perfected their craft... They have fantastic burgers (similar to Smashburger). The meat is flavorful and griddled with those lovely lacey crispy bits on the edges. The ingredients are top notch with super fine shredded lettuce that brings the burger up a whole level, buns that are fresh (and I wanna say maybe brioche?! as they are the rich yellowy crumb that you get from a dough made with eggs...), and tangy mayo, crisp pickles, etc. And... dude, the fries... At first this was my biggest problem with them (bulk bagged unseasoned basic b fries, meh!) but they have made a complete 180 and these fresh, golden, crispy and perfect fries are an amazing way to round out your meal. I haven't tried the salad yet but I'm about to right now and I'm expecting it will hold up to the hype of the rest of the well developed and curated menu. Big congrats to the management and chef for listening to feedback and ironing out those early wrinkles and making a fantastic, franchise worthy, burger brand. read more

I am usually a hater when it comes to halal hamburgers because of three main reasons, 1) overcooked patties, 2) "yeah we can do it medium"and it comes out well done and 3) lots of places put so many toppings like cheese sticks and chips on their burgers to hide the fact that they don't use quality meat. Patty was perfect.... the burger wad cooked to a perfect medium, had a little red in it just the way I like it,, and the toppings ratio was perfect it complimented the beef and didn't cover it up. I thoroughly enjoyed my burger. It was cooked to perfection, and very flavorful. I reallly enjoyed the sauce on there as well, next time I might ask for it on the side to dip my fries. And speaking of fries, they were so good fried too the perfect crunch, not soggy and not super hard. My son and I really enjoyed are meal and also got to meet and chat with the owner who was also very friendly. I came in to check out the new spot. I worked here almost ten years ago when it was a bar. 100% impressed. It's now a friendly burger and ice cream spot with a great atmosphere. Management seems to have a wonderful grasp on what they're doing and to actually care about the customers and their opinions. I went in and ordered the Toad burger. This place is very good! Everything is made fresh. I got the firebreather burger, which came with habanero cheese, and enough jalapeños to completely bury the burger. The fries are good too. I'd say everything is a little on the small side; especially the dessert portions. My lava cake, while delicious and made fresh right when I ordered it, took me about four bites to eat (including the ice cream). I am used to places with huge portions, so I took a star off for that. Tonight was the busiest I've seen the restaurant - of course, it is a Saturday night dinner rush. The bad: I ordered at the counter and was told 30-35 minutes for it to be ready. It ended up taking closer to an hour between ordering and walking out with our food. The good: the one front-of-house employee was running to the point where you could see her conflicted about what to do next. But she killed it. Everybody was taken care of quickly. The owner was there and checked to make sure I had been taken care of once after I ordered, and twice more while I was waiting for my food. This place is amazing! My husband found out about it online and suggested we went there. From the start we were welcomed by the owner and he worked hard to make sure that we were comfortable. From there he personally took our orders and made recommendations to us. His personality was great and we had fun laughing and joking with him.
