Both the spicy (jalapeño and the Swiss mushroom burgers are excellent. Excellent beef flavor and seasoning of the hand formed patties. The only improvement I can suggest is toast the buns more, to a nice almost crisp golden brown. The juices of the meat, peppers and mushrooms really soaked the buns to the point that we finished with a knife and fork. The garlic parm wings are tasty, plump and are served hot. The dining room was mostly empty and mostly clean. Slow ... this is a good thing because food is cooked to order and served hot. Will I return? I live 40 miles away and that is a huge impediment for a (great) burger restaurant. I will probably return once to try their soul food. Signage and logo ... it is not exactly obvious. I called in for lunch today. I ordered the Hanks Fi Dollar meal which was 4 wings and fries. I got the garlic Parmesan seasoning on them. This was a good meal and a great price. We stopped in during our road trip to Texas and our family of 5 enjoyed a great late afternoon lunch at Dexter's. We had an opportunity to meet Dex who took our order - he and his entire staff were amazing. Three of us each enjoyed a Dex's single and the other two had turkey burgers.
